Elevators were broken. Room was dirty, red stains on carpet. View from room was the inside of a dead hotel with flickering lights and unpowered escalators. Had do-not-disturb on door but housekeeper knocked at 9:30am. Parking requires an app in a garage that doesn't have cell service.

Great location; very nice room; no clerk at the front desk upon arrival at 4:30 pm. 5 of us waiting to check in; finally a gentleman called the main number and they sent someone out. Only had 1 of 4 elevators running so had to wait a while to get one with room for more people. Food in restaurant was good

Perfect location to Harbor.. a quick safe walk to Aquarium and everything else we wanted to see. The staff were extremely nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Coffee bar and the restaurant were great and parking garage was easy but expensive. Only neg was the hot tub was out of commision. We had a great two nights there and would definately recommend!

It took over 45 minutes to check in the long was out the door only 3 people working gave us the wrong room and then couldn’t get the room we paid for. We were locked out the key system wouldn’t work. Only 4 working elevators for over 660 rooms. Very upset and feel we should be compensated from this hotel

I gave this place a second chance- I will not go back. Not the cleanest property, especially the common areas and elevators- filthy. Parking is a big issue as you park in a public facility, and you must pay within 15 mins or you will be fined $150.00. What's upsetting is the hotel check in does not disclose this. Coffee counter is understaffed as is the bar and the restaurant moves like molasses. Everyone is very polite, but the truth is there are far many more options than here.

Nice room. Very clean. Eco friendly without a slew of small plastic bottles. Huge hotel. It may take you a while to get to your room The worst part was most of the elevators were broken which is why I rated condition as poor. How to almost all elevators break at once? It was a very full hotel. Long lines everywhere. The saving grace was the staff who worked extra hard to help overcome all the inconvenience. Without the staff this would have been a terrible experience.

The food I did eat at the hotel was from the cafe and it was amazing. The only thing that troubled me was all the ice machines were not working and it was never disclosed of. There was an African Wedding and the people looked so beautiful. I enjoyed my stay. I was there for a crabfest. I’ll be back next year.

Amazing service, letting me know paying for parking through parking app is cheaper than going through hotel directly. Plus fresh free cookies and lemon water were a nice pick me up. The pool is smaller than what it looked to me online, but the hotel gym was really nice. Probably, the nicest hotel gym i have seen in years. The only reason i took points off is because some of the lights in the room were broken and the bathroom door would not shut.

Will not be back. We found mold and severe water damage in our shower. This hotel also nickels and dimes guests for use of WiFi. No amenities provided in the room whatsoever. Not worth the price.

The front desk staff at this hotel were great however the housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. The shower walls in the room I was in were filthy they obviously haven’t been cleaned in a while they were covered in the pink film. On one of the days my room was left open by housekeeping,we realized it upon returning to the room at midnight after being out in DC all day. Thankfully nothing was taken.Furniture is very worn in the room as well!! Would not recommend this location

The biggest dislike was the fact that it appeared the shower/bath tub had not be properly cleaned in a month. There was a lot of hair and dirt in the tub. It was so bad that my wife refused to take a shower. The room obviously showed its age with the carpet being stained

I always love this hotel. I stay here any time I come to Baltimore. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and I especially love the happy hour during Ravens game day. The rooms are always comfortable and clean. The most recent stay though I found it strange that there were no electrical outlets in the bathroom. I could tell it was newly renovated. Did they not have an electrical inspection? Also out of 4 elevators, only one was working during our entire one night stay. When the hotel is full for a football game, this is not ideal.

Nice property and very walkable to local attractions, but our view of the now abandoned mall was very off putting. Seriously ominous. I couldn’t even open the curtain without getting the heebie jeebies. Next time I know to request a non horrifying view lol.

I booked months in advance. Paid for a Harbor View. Had to put my face to the window and look hard right to for my obstructed view. Killed the vibe of my whole trip. Both the hotel and Expidia blamed each other. Maybe you could do better booking straight from the hotel.

Room temperature was cold and heat would not work. We were in room 7070 and it has 2 sides of nothing but windows which seemed not to help with keeping the temperature even. Turned temp to 80 and it still didn’t change room comfort.

Not only do you have to pay $13 for basic WiFi, but it’s so slow you literally can video call from it. I paid for the “enhanced” WiFi, which by the way is a nightmare to upgrade to if you don’t choose it first, and video calls still broke up.

They charged me $15 for internet use even though I have a bonvoy membership (which includes free internet). I let them know my bonvoy account information at check-in to avoid any mix-up. Still, I received a $15 charge on my card. This all wouldn’t be a problem if they simply refunded me. I called multiple times. Sent multiple emails (all ignored). Expedia is also ignoring my requests. I’m just writing this off as $15 stolen from me. Will never stay at this property again.

The line to check in was through the lobby. Apparently, even if you arrive early, they do not let you have a room until 4 or even after that time. We were told while waiting in line that there might not be rooms ready for us (this was at 5 p.m.). We had already driven for 3 hours and had tickets to a baseball game at 7 (we originally arrived at the hotel at approximately 2 p.m. that afternoon and was told we would get a phone call when our room was ready. This never happened, and we went back to hotel around 5 when the line was through the lobby.) Also, only 1 of the several elevators to the rooms was working while we were there. Needless to say, it was always a long wait for one. Also, one of the lamps in our room constantly flickered very fast, so to not drive anyone crazy, we had to keep that light off.

I was checked in by Ron and he was absolutely amazing. Extremely friendly and communicative. He started my day off with a smile and I truly appreciate it. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. The toilet in my room had some issues (did not report it). We also took advantage of the pool but the hot tub was not working 😔. However because of wonderful customer service I received I will definitely recommend this hotel and will be back

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Each day, I was greeted warmly and thanked for choosing the hotel, which made my stay feel personal and appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful and there did seem to be a lot of maintenance going on, and the rooms are comfortable but the bathroom seemed dated. Although there were a few amenities I would have appreciated, such as a hotel manual in the room to provide information on the restaurants and other amenities, the experience was still exceptional. The internet was reliable, though it did come with an additional cost, which I would have preferred to see included. Parking was very convenient, although the cost added up a bit over my three-night stay. Offering alternative parking options could enhance the experience for guests staying longer. However, the ease of access to parking was a plus. Overall, I would highly recommend for its excellent staff and the warm, welcoming environment they create. Thank you for a memorable stay—I look forward to returning!

This was a great place to stay. Great location with much to do. The hotel was so courteous and friendly. We were greeted with a smile and a greeting by every single employee! My family agreed that we would happily come back to Renaissance in Baltimore for a long weekend whenever we can. So much to do around here.

The Watertable was pricey. The options were minimal and it took an hour and a half to get our food. The tempura shrimp were overcooked and the saffron mashed potatoes were pungent. It lft a lot to be desired. Otherwise, the hotel and staff were great!

From check in to check out everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. How to operate the parking was a little confusing, but that was not related to the hotel. We had drinks at the bar in the evening which were very good. I highly recommend the hotel.

We purchased club level room with access to club lounge for breakfast. Multiple people at check in refused us entry to the lounge and it wasn’t until a manager got involved and informed them that we had in fact paid for club access that they gave us keys to access lounge. They were unkind about the whole process. Then two of the four elevators were broken so we waited forever for elevators each morning. The one morning we had been waiting over 10 min for the elevator and an employee came around the corner with a luggage cart, cut in front of the 8 people waiting for the elevator and pushed inside so we had to continue waiting while we rode down on the elevator with his cart. The reading light was broken in my bed so I called for repair at 5:30 pm one evening as we were leaving to go out for dinner. When we returned it wasn’t fixed so we went to bed. At 10:10pm an employee knocked on the door to fix the light and woke us up. There was mold and bugs in the room. We definitely will not stay here again.

The hotel was great and the rooms and staff were wonderful. Conveniently located close to everything. The only issue was getting food to the room. The woman that took my order was was quick to get me off the phone. She didnt explain the charge to deliver the 16.00 pizza to my room, just said it was extra and then hung up. Found out it was 12 dollars. Almost as much as the pizza! Then the pizza arrived almost an hour later and was so undercooked the cheese wanst totally melted.

The club lounge was closed during the weekend of my stay at the hotel, so missed out on the lounge access. However I was given a voucher just for breakfast as an alternative. But I would have preferred to have access to the lounge which opens from 6am to 10pm but only on weekdays

An incredible property right on the harbor. Great and friendly staff, very nice breakfast ($$), gorgeous layout of building. Easy underground parking at location, easy for Uber and Lyft to pick you up. Only issue was at bar, drinks were too strong (I prefer having a few drinks instead of just one really strong one) and the glassware had black smudge all on it. Asked for another drink and it happened again. Tries a third time and I got a glass with lipstick marks on it. Fourth drink was good, he had switched out the shaker glass (maybe dirty) and it was clean now. Only complaint was that.

Customer service surprisingly bad. Room service was a disaster and came in crappy plastic containers plus plasticware utensils. No excuse for that now we are post-COVID. Sticky dirty carpet in our room.
