Limited parking by various buildings is frustrating since all buildings aren’t connected. Arrived, got keys, couldn’t find a spot until the back far other side. Key wouldn’t light up key pad to get in building. Tried 3 doors-either red light or no light. Went to office, told them I can’t get into building at all - said that’s strange “some are wonky about unlocking - but only 1 or 2.” Got new key. Back into the rain. Walk all the way back to correct building. Still nothing! I pull on it & discover NONE of the doors actually lock. None. Signs everywhere that they are locked for your safety. And another lady said-oh yeah I come here often they are never locked. Why wouldn’t office person tell me this inside of me coming back & forth. Get inside, entire building reeks of weed. Get to room & unlocks door, but it is like someone is in there with the metal door lock across it. Back…outside to walk across courtyard in the rain again. Gives me a new “upgraded room” which is not upgraded, same exact type. Actually one less bed when there are 3 of us. Go to make the pull pull out couch - No sheets or blankets. Back…to office bc at night (as is normal) only one person at desk so no one can bring you them. Ok, get that going. Go to shower-ONE TOWEL. Reserved 3 people, saw all 3 of us. Fast forward to morning, came an in middle of breakfast buffet, but 1/2 of it wasn’t out or on. Door to easy entrance on side is broken with big trash can blocking it. Will def go somewhere else next time

I Called the hotel from Miami on a layover. I asked I could get a ride from the airport (as the website offers) The person who answered said yes. I got to BWI close to midnight, as scheduled. Called Sonesta. The person who answered gave me directions to the shuttle stop. I waited 30 minutes and it never arrived. Called the hotel and the person at the front desk said that the shuttle ran until 11:00 pm. … Not happy at all

Terrible! Hotel is nice, but the advertising for this hotel is wrong! We had a huge issue with the shuttle, getting to the airport we had to use an Uber. Coming back they told us no shuttle and again used uber. The rooms are very nice, but not for travelers.

Checking out, I was informed a parking fee of $7.00 would be imposed daily. Since my stay was a lengthy one of 14 days, I would only have to pay $50.00! Nothing on your website indicates any type of fee for parking. Worse than that, at checkin, Nick at the front desk said NOTHING about any daily parking fee!! My documents also say nothing about any parking fee. I would formally request a refund of this "fee" immediately. Thank you.

Family of four stuck in BWI overnight due to weather related cancellation of our flight. After seeing a 8.4 rating and a 1 bedroom suite available so booked it. Our first room assignment was directly across the hall from a Domestic Violence with 2 police officers call where the front desk had to “lock the women out of their room because they were avoiding the officers”. I told her “we’d have to step over the meth head to enter our room, the woman was being yelled at by the officer because the name she was giving didn’t match her ID and I did not love that my children just had to witness that.” She said she’d reassign our room to a different building. I was not happy she chose the first assignment in the first place knowing the police were on scene and they had to lock them out of the room. She apologized and said she’d find us a “nice room” Once in the new room it was terribly used and damaged. I hope the red stains on the sofa bed mattress and carpet was just juice or wine, there was white sticky candy or frosting in the carpet, the sofa cushions looked like they were chewed on by a dog. My children slept ON TOP of the sofa since the mattress was disgusting! This was a “nice room”????? So gross!

For the price it was a great option, room and beds were nice and comfortable! The issues were with staff being available. At night there was no one available to purchase water from the front desk, and both mornings the shuttle drivers were not available at 7am like the hotel stated would be. One couple may have missed their plane flight because of it. The drivers were very nice though and friendly. Just ensure you have a ride or Uber scheduled if you stay here.

The property was ok. The pool area was very dirty. Our room needed an upgrade. The cooling system took awhile to kick in. It got cooler the later it got. The pull out couch was stained and old. The bed’s box spring look like cats or dogs were scratching on it. It took a day and a half to get fresh towels. We only had 1 tv remote with 2 separate TVs. The breakfast was decent.

I will not be recommending this place to anyone for they pass the buck and no one ever responds back if there is an issue. First they put a &250 hold on your card like it’s the Ritz Carlton. Next my 73 year old mother experienced Ants crawling on her night stand then she was being bitten by them while she slept. I called that morning to speak to a supervisor she was not there. I was in town burying my grandfather so I called back when I had the chance. I finally spoke to someone and being though I was with family she told me she would call me back and never did. Why am I calling hunting you down and your establishment was in the wrong? It’s so absurd and unacceptable. I also have pictures of this that I will be posting to IG, Facebook and TicTok since I have to call everyone and no one is following up with me.

Furniture was damaged, the sofa bed mattress had stains, bath and sink had stains, sink didn’t drain properly, curtains were so worn it had holes, bed was horribly uncomfortable, shower had no pressure, there weren’t enough pillows and the front desk couldn’t get more, the free shuttle wasn’t running, and so much more.

Pros: I loved the parking. There was plenty. I liked how doors had letters on them. The guy told me go around back to door A and our room would be on F3. It was super easy. The property is peaceful. The room was clean. I liked the setup of the room but I wouldve put the doors the other way. They do have drinks (adult), snacks, etc., downstairs for people who want them. Cons: The wifi was not it and I couldn't set up my hotspot. Even the Netflix account you can sign in to from the TV in the room kept going out saying internet lost. I tried to plug my Amazon stick in and because of their box and TV, there arent enough plugs. I brought one of the side tables from near the couch to be able to plug everything in but the color contrast was blue. You cannot change settings on the TV which makes it hard to do anything with the remote, volume, color, hotspot, etc. It was a long annoying process. Another thing that kind of irritated me was, they sent me a few emails asking if i wanted upgrade my stay. I chose to upgrade my room and check out at 4 pm for $32. They also say to mention it when you get there. I mentioned it and was told nothing is in the computer and I could only do late checkout til 3 pm for $36. So I asked for that over a week before my stay and it was never put in the system and i had to pay $4 more for an hour less. If you offer it, please make sure that is actually an option. I would definitely stay here again. I liked everything except the tv/wifi situation.

I had to be moved twice. My first room had broken bulbs and water on the kitchen floor and the a/c was out. The hallway reeked with smell of Marijuana. Then i was moved to another room and in 2 days that rooms A/C went out. My third and final room the toilet half the time didn't want to work. Take what i tell you i will never stay or recommend for anyone even my worst enemy to have anything to do with Sonesta! For anyone considering to stay at Sonesta Proceed with Caution and do so at your own RISK ! Disappointed 😞 is an understatement! More like totally Disgusted!

Our stay here was very enjoyable. The room was clean, roomy, comfortable, and the property is gorgeous - very private and quiet. The pool wasn’t open yet, but the outdoor fire pit and basketball court are really nice amenities. The kitchen in our suite was well-stocked with dishes and small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, etc.). The staff is amazing, very kind and welcoming, always available to help and answer questions. Breakfast is really good - the menu is mostly the same each day, but there are a lot of options. Everything is fresh and the kitchen staff are super nice and attentive. The apple cake is to die for! This is my first experience at Sonesta, and I can definitively say this will be my hotel of choice for future travel needs. My only critique is the WiFi at this location is not the best. I work remotely and the Sonesta member internet worked well enough for my needs, but could be faster with stronger connection. Still, my overall stay was great, and I would gladly stay here again.

Overall, the property was pretty nice. There were some issues though: No place to park on Friday night when we arrived; our room's refrigerator was pretty beat up; the microwave was damaged; the couch and ottoman had some small holes in it; one of the closet doors was coming off its hinge; and we could hear the people above us quite a bit our entire stay. We did love the layout of our room and the fact that it had a full kitchen; that is the main reason that we picked it and also because it was located near BWI.

We have stayed at this property a few times with no issues. This time was fine but a few things to note which made this experience less stellar than past. I had to wait about 10-15 minutes in the lobby for someone to check in as there was no one to greet me when I arrived. When I checked in, room was already paid for by booking via third party, they asked for card and charged it $100 (without telling me) as a holding fee for incidentals. It was not until I received an alert from my bank, did I know I was going to be charged. Had I known, I could have made appropriate accommodations to avoid issue. I also tried to discuss this with the front desk attendant, and he was rude and dismissive as I was just trying to explain conveying this information up front, would have been the right and appropriate thing to do for whoever is working at the front desk and could have saved me issues, $$, etc. After checking in, I tried to call down to the desk to let them know of the damage that was done to the furniture in our room so we would not be responsible. The front desk phone rang constantly with no one to pick up. Hotel location is rather quiet. We were in and out for less than 24 hours for a family event so I did not have time or energy to address these details further, but maybe my review will save someone the headache.

I had not stayed at this location in 4 years. At that atime, there was leak into the kitchen light fixture and a clogged toilet but at least the hot breakfast was good. I gave them another chance thinking conditions would have improved by now but... not so much. The service from the housekeeping supervisor was great the first week but she left. The garbage disposer didn't work, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and now they charge for parking. Rooms are cleaned every 7 days. After being there 7 days and no one coming to clean, we called the front desk only to have to debate about the cleaning policy before someone was sent to clean our room. The cleaned it very well. Towels and other necessities could be picked up from the front desk but delivery to the room when requested was unreliable. But worst of all was the breakfast. It was edible if you want to eat the SAME THING Monday - Friday. I do not recommend this hotel for an extended stay.

I put in the comments of the reservation my preference to stay in Building A but was given a room in Building B. There was only enough wash clothes and towels for 2 people and there is 3 of us. I had to go back to the lobby to request a pillow and blanket for the sofa bed as well since there was only sheets in the closet. Since there is no customer service to the rooms, it should at least been fully stocked since the reservation showed 3 people.

We had a very nice 2 night stay here with our family! The breakfast was great. Everyone was comfortable and the beds were comfy too. Only thing that could be updated was the bathtub. It looked a little worn and the toiletry dispensers needed to be cleaned better. There was visible soap and a hair from the last person who stayed there. The overall size and amenities in the room and on the grounds were fantastic and very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I thought it was a good stay downside is since there was nothing on the first floor available due to a cheerleaders competition. Also, the Wi-Fi was very spotty at best and a little to be desired. It could’ve been a little better and it needs to improve. Breakfast was very good. The only downside is they didn’t have sausage and bacon during the week only on weekends. The room was a little small but aside from that I have to stay overall, it was a good day, but they have to improve things in there going forward, especially the Wi-Fi.

I loved my room. It was clean and better than expected. I booked the 2 queen bedroom suites for a group of 5 girls going to a summer concert. Everything was close by. Malls, restaurants, stadium etc . The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic too. I’ll definitely be booking again next year.
