Comfort Inn Gold Coast

Laundry very good on site . I had an issue at check in and Expedia and they were very helpful fixing it. Comfy beds. Nice hot water. Pool and hot tub. Only negatives; hallway noise and a.stray roach. Extremely friendly staff.

The Comfort Inn is a very convenient 5 minute walk to the beach. Our window overlooked a gorgeous wetland and was ideal for viewing the beautiful sunsets. It was also very clean which one would expect. However, we were on the ground floor, and clearly the foundation has experienced some shifting, as the floor in our room was obviously slanted downward in a few different areas. The building would appear to have been erected upon former marshland which may explain this uneven floor. It really wasn’t a bother, but odd nonetheless. What was a bother was the fact that one evening some guests held a 15 minute long fireworks event on the deck outside the pool and adjacent to our room These were not firecrackers in the strict sense. They were all of the more powerful variety that we used to call M-80s, and cherry hombs when we were kids. This occurred at 9-9:15PM which again is not terribly late, and likely not a problem for a younger crowd. Nevertheless, such events obviously would be more appropriate for the parking lot or elsewhere, away from the building. Another disturbing moment occurred when we asked the front desk for an extra pillow for both me and my wife, and the clerk said she could only offer us one, not two. I can see how pillows might be scarce, but at the handsome summer lodging rate we were paying, that response landed very awkwardly. The fitness center’s air conditioner was not cooling the room, and the stationary bicycle’s pedal mechanism was broken. Rate a 5/10

I liked this property because it was quiet and it was on the bayside. I liked it because it had hot tub and indoor pool. Although I didn’t like it that the pool was cold everyday we was there. A lot of people was complaining about how cold the pool was. Please fix temperature of pool or we may not come back here again.

The stay was amazing and the pool and bed was very good.

This is my second time here at this hotel this summer. The staff are always polite and very helpful. Checking in and out was a breeze. The hotel rooms are so clean. And i love that they have the indoor pool and hot tub. Only thing that I didn't like was that there was boken gym equipment, tv or air conditioning didn't work in the gym too. Also the phone in my room did not work. Other than that a nice stay.

Besides the stained carpet, the stay was pretty decent. The one thing we did not like was that the pool did not require a key card, which meant it was open to everyone. There was a moment that my family was in the pool, and a person entered the pool area from the side doors that were open.

Overall a nice place to stay in Ocean City for reasonable price. Nothing outstanding, but nothing terrible. Room was comfortable but definitley had a weird smell that etched into all my clothes and bags which all had to be washed on return home. The indoor pool was advertised as heated but felt very cold and that area didn't feel super clean.

Hot tub gross

Very conveniently located to a grocery store and restaurants. Rooms have been renovated and are quite nice especially the mattress. The carpet dated and in need of a clean but very happy with room overall Note little store in lobby with sodas et al takes only cash no debit nor credit. Nice pool and hot tub.

For a last minute 4th of July getaway to the beach, the place wasn’t too bad. The pool area is very dated and could use some TLC. The pictures of the pool and layout area aren’t current. The room was clean, but you only received cleaning of your room if you stayed a 3 day minimum.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The room eas very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Bathroom was clean and no issues. When I booked it I didn't realize it had an indoor pool and hot tub. Unfortunately we did not utilize them this trip but we were trying to stay near family who were in a condo across the street and this worked wonderfully. We will be back for sure. Also your room key gets you discounts at a few local places to eat, which is a nice perk. We love visiting OC Md and we just found a new favorite place to stay

the hotel has bed bugs we are from out of town n had a budget n couldn’t offer to stay no where else it was very unfortunate that my 2 year old had to experience this

The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious. Staff was great. The only problem was a mice came under our door around 4:00am to 5:00am in the morning. I was sleep and my wife yelled, I jumped up and changed the mice until it ran back under the door into the hallway. I put a towel at the bottom of door blocking it from entering again. I was very disappointed. We could not go back to sleep. I told the staff in the morning and the said they will tell maintenance.

Needs updating, water took a while to get hot, could be cleaner found hairs on our sheets and pillows, could hear people through the walls, out dated. View was nice, great custom service

There was BLOOD spots on the quilt. Long stands of hair in some of the drawers as well as on the floors ( bathroom and carpet)! Couch had pet hair on the coushion

This hotel was AWFUL. With so many other options at around the same price and area, we will never be back. I woke up in the middle of night and went to grad a drink off the night stand.... only to find the glass and the entire nightstand COVERED with ants. Room #420. Husband went to the front desk and they apologized but said all they were able to do was move us. Moved to room #519, one floor up. Same exact thing happened. Woke up in the middle of the night and went to grab my drink... everything was covered with ants!! We packed up and checked out at 9 am. So so disappointed- it was our first little getaway post pandemic 😢

My room had cockroaches in it when I first got there. They moved me to a different room and had the audacity to charge me $14 to move to a different room with no cockroaches. The room they moved me to was outside of a Denny's with loud ass people that was open 24/7. Not only was the room gross , but we went down to the pool and the pool area was gross as well to the point where another family walked in and left because of how gross it was. And they proceeded to walk and talk about how gross the pool was with us. This hotel will definitely be hearing from the Better Business Bureau.

The mattress had a metal piece that was uncomfortable getting out of bed. Mattress was not comfortable.

Would have liked an overhead fan to circulate air. Very basic unit. Coffee unit small. Quiet location and view of bay was good. Front staff friendly and polite. Comfortable bed and ample hot water.

We returned to the front desk prior to walking into our room and asked to verify the details. They knew the bot water wasn't working and stated they were told by management not to share those details with new guests checking in. They stated it'd be back on by the evening. We checked into the room to find hair and sand still on the floors and surfaces from prior guests. There were brown marks on the sheets. We cleaned ourselves as the front desk said itd be 3-4 hours until housecleaning could return to do so. Upon returning to the room from going out, the hot water was still not working at 7:30pm. During our stay we visited the pool area which was filthy, rusty and chipping paint on all surfaces. There were multiple occasions where other people were smoke marijuana at the front door of the hotel although there were clearly noted no smoking signs. We asked the front desk staff to assist with those folks and we were met with nasty attitudes and push back to mind our business. I explained our children were both present and severe asthmatics. The front desk staff stated "I guess you should remove yourself then". Will NEVER be returning and will be sharing our story elsewhere- WE NEED A REFUND

Great view. Only Internet for one device and they only clean rooms once every three days.

Hotel should have been updated a long time ago, no smart TV, only amenity is a pool. It looks old.

The rooms are as seen in pictures. We paid extra for the bay view. However room 209 has an obstructed view with the roof of the pool so when looking out the window that’s the first thing you see.

Comfortable accommodations and friendly staff. We were fortunate enough to have a bayside view so we got to see the outside seating areas and the beautiful sunset you can watch. My husband had a few meetings while we were there and the WiFi signal was strong enough to support his zoom meetings.

The heater in my room would cycle between air conditioning and heat constantly with the from desk clerk saying it's supposed to be like that. It was bad enough the room was 59 when I arrived. So put heat on 70 and supposed to cut off at 71 but due to a malfunctioning thermostat the AC said that was too hot and brought it down to 69 which the heat said was too cold and cut back on. This went on all night and it's normal?

Staff was very friendly. Everything seemed to work fine. The real negatve was: the walls are paper thin. There was a couple and an approximately 10 year old boy next door. For 3 of my 5 nights, every evening for several hours, i endured fighting, crying, screaming, and very loud talking. It truly sounded like they were in the same room. Finally they left and i had 2 peaceful nights.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff was great, snack and drink shop next to the main desk in lobby, across the main street from the beach, nice and clean rooms. Only negative was children were a tad loud running up and down the halls and slamming there doors.

Was there for a business trip and the room was very clean. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly and besides slow computers at the front desk everything else was great.

We had to leave a condo we booked due to unforeseen issues and Comfort Inn made the transition seamless. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future. Was a pleasant experience.

I’ve stayed at this property before and truly enjoyed it! Super convenient location and right across from the beach (easy to walk to). Shawn at the front desk was so nice! Also, there was an overnight staff member that even shared his playing cards with my friends and I! Great experience and impeccable customer service! Thanks everyone. Keep up the awesome work! :-)

One of the staff members were rude.

The check-in staff for the hotel were efficient, but not really friendly. Upon check-out, they were fantastic. The biggest complaint is noise and staff not doing anything about it. I was there for one night and was not able to sleep, despite using white noise. From 1am-5:30am there were people (kids?) running down the hallways, laughing, playing, shouting for extended lengths of time. I totally get it's the beach, etc. But the staff should have stopped that or the hotel should make it clear the walls are paper thin and there will be no sleep for anyone. Every single sound could be heard through the doors.

Has been great so far staff very helpful and pleasant front desk staff help book another night we enjoyed it so much.

I enjoyed my 1 day stay at this establishment. I will be staying here again. I was able to check in early without being charged any fees. Front desk personnel was outstanding.

absolutely amazing! my family and I had an awful hotel experience at another hotel that was absolutely filthy, leaving us very upset and sleep deprived, and the ladies at comfort inn really took care of us. not only did they allow us to check in early, they upgraded our room for us so we could go ahead and get some well needed rest. they were so sweet and we are so thankful for them. my 7 year old immediately fell asleep in the bed and woke up feeling so much better. we will 100% be back and will be recommending this hotel to everyone we know! thank you comfort inn!!

Atmosphere, shopping, dining, walking, parking, just all over great.

The property was extremely nice, and conveniently located to many additional amenities and locations that we visited during our stay. We highly recommend stating at Comfort Inn!

Great location, bus stop right out front w/$4 all day rides. Clean, frim yet comfortable king size bed. Somewhat comfortable sitting sofa. Modern amen ities. Working microwave, mini fridge & coffee maker. Nice sheabutter soaps. Super nice pillows & plentiful. Different softness/firmness options. Room was ready in the morning - hours prior to the 4 pm stated time -both check in & out was smooth and fast. Total bill was less than Expedia expected!

It was wonderful !!!The Comfort Inn was excellent from parking, the lobby, the room and the staff. It was clean well maintained with soo many added perks. The fact that Dennys was basically attached to the hotel. It was close to shopping, food etc… It was located on Bay side with a beautiful view. We have stayed all over Ocean City from the boardwalk to everywhere all over OC. This is north of the inlet but honestly worth the drive but also there was public transportation literally out the door if you prefer.

Very enjoyable time. The hotel was in the perfect location, walkable to the grocery store, Italian restaurant, Dairy Queen, Denny’s and the most amazing liquor store I’ve ever seen lol. It was a very clean hotel, the room was clean and spacious and we had an amazing view!! All the employees were super nice. We will definitely be back!!

Room was fine and hotel in a good location. No breakfast or anything special. The pool was adequate but definitely has not updated in awhile. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Staying here was an amazing experience. I loved the fact that it was connected to a 24-hour Denny’s, had an amazing pool and hot tub overlooking the beautiful marsh, and a 5 minute walk from the beach. Not to mention it also was close to a cinema and a TJ MAXX.

I liked that it had an indoor pool and hot tub. I also liked that the hotel is attached to a Dennys and next door to a mall with a cinema.

Had to ask for room services like sheets and trash bags because room service didn't come to your room unless asked which kinda sucked because we stayed 4 days and had a bunch of trash. Water took awhile to get hot so showers batha took longer to take. I would not stay here again because no breakfast and room service being the way it was.

Though they don't offer breakfast, I thought it was a nice perk that Denny's is connected to the hotel and you get a discount for showing your for multiple reasons and would not go back. We know that is not on the hotel, but the restaurant being right there was still something that drew my attention when deciding to book this hotel, so I did want to mention it. The hotel itself was great overall. I think for the cost, location, comfortability, and cleanliness of the rooms it was worth it. We had a bayside view room with a beautiful view. The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked amazing!! Good functioning air conditioning is a huge aspect for my family when we we're booking a hotel in the summer months, and the air here was wonderful. The room felt clean as well as the rest of the facility at all times. The staff were friendly, though they were not accommodating when I requested a late check-out but said this was due to another booking conflict which I anticipated could occur. My feedback is to tint windows from the outside. Our room was on the second floor, and the outside area to the pool was just below our room window and people were able to look into our room very clearly. I loved that the pool was indoor in case of inclement weather. Our family had a lot of fun. The hours of the pool were 7am-10pm ET which I thought was great. No lifeguard. Would stay again!

The room was clean the beds were comfy. They gave discounts for Jolly Rogers amusement rides and for Denny’s diner next door. We really liked the pool and hot tub and also conveniently located to a shopping center. And not a far walk from the beach!!

The rooms were really nice and clean! I loved how comfortable the bed was, bathroom was clean, nice pool area, super convenient to the beach (literally across the street from the beach) the Denny’s discount your bill! I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again

Nice, quiet room. Very clean. Very friendly staff at the desk. Denny’s next door was good for first night’s dinner and breakfast next morning. Close to things we wanted to do. Didn’t get to use the pool. They even called to check if we left a tablet in the room (was not our room, though). Would stay again.
