Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Ocean City by IHG

Room was clean and decent. Coffee machine in room did not work but the had coffee in lobby. Nice location and kids had a blast in the pool.

Hotel was clean, parking was good, convenient walk to beach, food, shopping. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean and tempreture was good.

The hotel was clean, the front desk staff were welcoming. My family enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfasts and the use of both pools. All our needs were met.

painted the indoor pool on our first day there but opened the next day. outdoor pool was very nice and looked like they had just painted the deck. workers were very nice and friendly. newly renovated. room was spacious and clean. restaurant next door had some music at night so we sat at the pool and listened. very enjoyable. 5 minute walk to the beach.

The only thing that we really had a problem with was parking. We were there for the Christmas Light show at the park with our young kids (8yrs & 7month) and we had trouble parking at night due to no one enforcing you can only park at the hotel if your staying at the hotel. I mean the hotel doesn’t even have a parking pass to put up for there guest all they ask for is Make & Model of your car no pass no license plate number so there’s no way it can be enforced. Frustrating parking out in no man’s land with small kids when we are the paying customers.

Everything was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly 😀 attentive location was wonderful for winterfest and short ride to Schellville.. heated pool was clean and wonderfully warm

My only complaint would be coming back from dinner and not being able to find parking at the hotel during the winterfest hours.

Jamie at the front desk was very professional & friendly. The fastest hotel check in I’ve ever experienced. Two minutes & I had my key cards for the rooms. The hotel was recently remodeled & it shows. I had two king suites with double sofa bed. They were classified as bay view as well, which was a bit of a stretch. You could see the bay if you really looked for it. There is a park with baseball fields across the street from the rear of the hotel (west side, facing bay). And the bay is well beyond the park. No big deal. Bed was comfy, AC was cold. Room was clean, big TV. Water pressure in shower could be a little stronger & the shower curtain should be replaced with glass doors. Only other small gripe is the size of the breakfast room. There is one room where the food is and it has tables & chairs. There is another room as you first walk into the breakfast area also with tables & chairs. Both rooms are a little on the small size for a hotel of this size. The toaster is only a two slice toaster & it’s at the beginning of the food area & sometimes the line would back up with 10-15 people waiting behind the person toasting their bread/bagel. They need to add one of those conveyor belt type toasters that are bigger & much faster. I’ve seen them before in similar hotel chains. Great breakfast/coffee. The outside pool was great/area was spotless. Has indoor pool too. I would definitely stay here again. Ocean City is an amazing spot for family vacation. Beach is beautiful & free.

The pool was good

I was given a handicap room, which is ok. Nice view of the park and bay, but big picture window was so dirty on the outside. Toilet seat had under the seat and rim. I always travel with alcohol, so I had to clean it. I’m not sure if the sheets were changed or not from the previous person but it doesn’t feel like it. I’m allergic to dust mites my ankles started to itch and break out, had to put socks on. Clock in room was not on. Television had a different date on from like last year. It said it was July and this is October. Not very happy with this hotel compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at.

The room was not fully cleaned when we arrived. Our second day the room wasn’t completely cleaned.

I was very displeased with our stay… rooms were dirty. Floors did not look to be swept…. Shower was gross, and we had blood on one of our beds. I wish there was an outside sitting area… the evenings were beautiful and we were stuck in the rooms. We will mot be staying there again!

The breakfast lines were crazy long for ONE toaster. They don’t bother to have 2 toasters or even a toaster with double slots. House keeping was horrible, they didn’t empty trash nor coffee machine when used. They also don’t believe in vacuuming

Nice property. Upon check in bathroom sink was dirty. Very disappointed to see dirt/grime in the sink area.

Everything was excellent, room were clean and the veiw was wonderful. The beds wasn't too comfortable though but that could've been because I missed my own bed

HII is usually my go-to for a clean hotel with comfortable beds. These beds were far from that.

The hotel is definitely kid friendly. We loved the fact that there was a nice park behind and our kids loved the pool. Only thing was there was no balcony.

I thought the price was very reasonable for a resort area in the middle of summer. The breakfast selection and personnel were very good. The control for the window shade did not work well. The shade was down for our entire stay. The front desk personnel were informed of this. Soundproofing between rooms could be much better. We could plainly hear a conversation from the people next door to us.

We went for a family beach trip, the location was perfect, we were able to just walk across the street to the beach, we could walk to restaurants and activities nearby. I didn’t like the breakfast too much it could have been better. But the rooms were spacious, and bed was comfortable.

Loved the staff and the room was beautiful! I had a lovely view of the Christmas lights in Northside Park.

Modern hotel with two pools. Room was spacious and location outstanding. However, housekeeping was bad. Had to get towels myself and they barely did anything.

The moment i walked in the door i was greeted with a smile and a pleasant hello. My room was ready several hours early and i was permitted to go in. The ladies at the front gave me some great information about restaurants in the area. They were very kind to my family, the grandchildren especially

We only stayed one night but found it good and reasonably priced for location. Check in was a breeze with friendly staff members. We had loud neighbors and told the front desk who immediately changed our room which made our stay enjoyable to not listen to the noise of doors slamming, loudly knocking on doors, people singing loudly, and people shouting at each other. We appreciated that the staff was able to immediately address our concerns and fix the problem. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff here is amazing! Darlene the cleaning lady is super friendly and does a superb job. Jaymie the lady at the front desk is also super friendly and even remembered us from 5 months ago! Keke is another super friendly front desk lady and more! The free breakfast is great! If you leave hungry, its your own fault! I wish we would gotten the name of the lady working the kitchen. She was on top of everything! Super friendly and nice too! The hotel is great but the employees keep us coming back!

The hotel was nice! Loved the special touch of the dove products supplied for your convience. Free breakfast, free parking was a plus. Wished the breakfast offered more variety such as cream of wheat, turkey/ pork bacon, grapes, or fruit cups, and waffles. Easy access to the beach (one block across the street) but not to the boardwalk. Therefore, keep that in mind the boardwalk ends at 28th street as the hotel is on 127th. No outdoor showers to wash sand off nor bathrooms at the entrance of the beach. Disappointing as you have to travel back to the hotel with sand all over the place or to use bathroom. Keep that in mind. However, the hotel does have a area you can rinse off by the outside pool. Also, there needs to be a better walkway/ramp for those with beach wagons trying to access the beach once the sidewalk runs out. More perks of the hotel: A chipotle is right in the same lot. A bonus is North point park directly behind the hotel for kids to play or run around. Fireworks showing on Sunday evenings. Can watch from the room or walk right on over. Far as staff I want to give a shouout to “Jamie” who was awesome. She was very welcoming and always had a smile on her face. Resourceful, and shows a passion for her job. Overall, Jamie was Bubbly and made sure we felt at home. Other staff member who I will not name was very rude and unprofessional. Family and I felt targeted, singled out, and uncomfortable. Beware!!!! Markers for discrimination.

This was my 3rd year at this property and we loved it. Location is amazing! Especially love the park behind the hotel. Has some hidden gems way in the back!! I highly suggest walking the park and take some fishing lines too!

Strongly recommend Holiday Inn Express in Ocean City, MD provided you do not want to be on the beach. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in north Ocean City. Self free parking was a plus. The entire staff (front desk, housekeeping, breakfast service, maintenance, etc.) make this a great hotel as they all seem to care about your stay and aim to please. We would definitely stay here again.

Accomodating and friendly staff, ample parking, plentiful breakfast, multiple restaurants near the hotel and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Will definitely be back!

Great location, literally steps to the beach. Parking was easy. Close to lots of restaurants and attractions, like mini-golf and stores.

Its walking distance to the beach and the beach isnt crowded.

Breakfast was very good. Biscuits, gravy, eggs and sausage. Pancakes, Cereals Pastry. Great variety.

Upon our arrival we received a warm and friendly greeting from the ladies at the front desk.They promptly provided pertinent information about the facility. The entire facility and specifically our room were very clean and well maintained. The staff managing the continental breakfast were very responsive and continued to keep an adequate supply of warm and fresh food available. We were very please with every aspect of our stay and would certainly stay here in the future. Highly recommend.

The stay was good, but there were limited breakfast options. It took a while for the food to be refilled. There wasn’t even fruit included. There were not a lot of tables so we had to get to breakfast early.
