Quality Inn Boardwalk

Location was great!! Outdoor pools and tiki bar were nice. Everything from the room to the pool chairs are outdated. The indoor pool I could barely breathe It was so hot and smells like bug spray. The staff was excellent my housekeeper Kevin was amazing. The pullout sleeper sofa because we had six guest was so uncomfortable and broken. Decent price for location in Ocean

Overpriced for what it was. Limited parking. Took Uber and Lyft because we were afraid to lose our spot. 2 elevators for building and 1 was broken for 2 of our 3 days there. We were on the 8th of 9 floors with a toddler. Water didn’t go down in tub. Maids didn’t make beds.

Great location, nice rooms, loved having three pools and a hot tub.

We’ve stayed there two other times and would again. Our only complaint would be that two of the three elevators weren’t working throughout our stay. It was inconvenient, especially during peak check in and check out times.

Second year staying here. The rooms are clean. Great indoor and outdoor pool area. Friendly staff. Great location. My only complaint would be the elevator. Very, very slow and small. Can’t really accommodate the number of people in the hotel.

Conveniently close to the beach. Two pools outside are great. The gym and laundry did not work during my stay

Hotel was in good shape, rooms were clean and well taken care of. The hotel overall is starting to become a little dated. The 3 pools and beach bar are by far the biggest draw to this hotel. Other hotels have these amenities, but location is key. Having the pools and bar literally on the boardwalk is a game changer.

Only Complaint is lack of parking we had a spot but it was across the street

The location is great - right on the boardwalk and oceanfront. There were 2 nice outdoor pools and an indoor pool and hot tub. The rooms are dated but there is a kitchenette which is convenient. It's just an old and tired building in need of a major updating. Housekeeping did a good job with the basics - towels, trash, and bedding. However, the carpet was disgusting. After showering, I walked in the room for a few minutes and found the bottom of my feet were black from the filth in the carpet. The beds were comfortable and the room darkening curtains worked well.

The staff was great but the room was terrible we ended up staying one night and changing hotels for the rest of our trip. The room was outdated there was a bug in our shower and finding a cockroach in the kitchen was the final straw. This hotel definitely needs some work.

The room was dirty, sheets had stains, carpet was dirty. Even the lobby carpet had stains. It all felt very unsanitary. Outdated and rusted appliances. Stains on ceiling. Bathroom door could not lock and was barely closing. The bathroom fan did not work. The hallway window blinds were broken. People could look inside the room.

When we arrived, we had lipstick on our bedding, sand all over the floor and mold in our bathtub

Property was very clean. I walked around the room in white socks and my socks stayed clean.

Room was bad, poor air-condition, mildew smell, changed room at night and paid more!

This hotel is old and dirty. Our tub had a dirt ring at the bottom. My daughter always brings cleaners and sanitizers but couldn’t get the ring out the bottom of the tub. The bedding was dingy. The curtains dirty, The balcony chairs dirty. The beds were very uncomfortable. On check-out the young lady at the desk was to busy on her phone to look up and and say anything other thanks it when i handed her my room keys.

We booked this as a last minute trip. It seemed like a decent location and we have stayed at a comfort inn that was very clean and comfortable in the past. To start when we checked in we were never given any direction on how to check in and where our room was located so my children and I were wondering around since there was just one hallway with rooms but apparently we accessed our room from the outside . The indoor pool was foamy and grossed me out . My kids complained that it was too cold for the total 5 minutes they were in there. The room was cleanish . Nothing super noticeable other than how dated everything was , which is surprising being a huge chain. There was some hair in the shower that was not my families since we all have blonde hair . The faucet for the tub was tilted sideways and not fully mounted to th wall, the faucet for the bathroom sink leaked water all over the sides, the wallpaper was peeling, and there were large rust stains on the fridge . The beds seemed clean when I checked them and were comfortable enough . There are so many other options available I would not stay here again .

The indoor pool smelled terribly of chemicals. Our room smelled and seemed dirty. Everything was very dated. They say it's non-smoking but no one is stopping guests from smoking everywhere.

Very outdated, not clean at all. Faucet in shower falling off wall, blood stains on bed, not cleaned well. Found someone else’s socks next to bed, pacifier near door, eyeglasses. Only nice thing was the view from balcony.

We got an ocean view room. The room was a good size, for me, husband and 3 kiddos. We took a full size air bed (3 kids didn’t want to sleep together) and were able to blow it up and have in there. Balcony was a good size as well. VIEW- was wonderful- 3rd floor right above the adult pool/ Noise was afraid it would b too noisy but was not as issue. Hearing the ocean waves was awesome. CONS- the doors are VERY loud closing and kind of sucks cause you end up waking up anyone in your room trying to rest. - the AC was leaking and so the carpet in that area was very wet. - the carpet itself needs washing or replacing, felt dingy when walking in it so we only wore sandals. -shower/tub small and pressure low. Cool things- not on came equipped with plates, cutlery, dish soap, which although we didn’t use was pretty cool. Has a small table which was nice to sit and eat again we didn’t use. The indoor pool was awesome as we got so nails cool days (hurricane warning) so the kids chilled in there. The hot tub was awesome after a long day. Got busy at times but we would go around 8pm which was much better. Outdoor pools were very nice. The staff was nice enough. And loved the complimentary tea/coffee. We would def overall stay again.

Stayed here for ROCKFEST. The walk to the pier for this old man was just fine!! Took couple short beak, plenty of benches. The hot tub was nice to kick back in. My 2nd favorite thing was how the outdoor pool was tight to the boardwalk. My favorite was the very private balcony 😇 If I had to find someone negative it would be they tried reusing a bar of soap. They even put it back in the packet it came in, which was obviously open. Yes it was already used. That got tossed in trash. They did have a 2nd one that was new. Oh if the restaurant is part of this hotel, the hostess was very rude to us, so we didn’t go back there

I liked the fact that the hotel was right on the boardwalk and convienent to everything. The room was a little dated. The wallpaper above the window was falling off. The A/C was a bit noisy. The window had an ocean view except for the fact that the window has a film over the entire glass area and you can't see out of it.

The amenities are great! Two outdoor pools and an indoor pool. Steps away from the beach and boardwalk. I rented two adjoining rooms. My room was wonderful and up-to-date. The other room had rusty lamps, a towel rack that was majorly broken and a door that was extremely difficult to open and close.

Beautiful oceanfront room. Pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable. Room a little dated. Other than that no complaints. Beautiful outside pool!

Beautiful View. Friendly Staff. Wonderful location. Room was dirty. Our feet were black from walking on the carpet. However, the tiki bar is another story. Pounding music for hours. I went to OC to listen to the ocean. Couldn't hear it over the music coming from the tiki bar. The later the day got the louder the music. Online website said they closed at 10. So, I had hoped the music would stop at 10 but it didn't.

No heat in the room. Upon arriving in my room (809) the temperature was 67 degrees. Thermostat inoperative. Notified front desk. Their response was to have a maintenance worker place a portable heater in the room. Front desk informed me that the heating system was not working. Will not stay there again.

Love the ocean front view and kitchenette. Will stay again.

Overall fine experience. Was a good deal - get what you pay for, but actually better than expected. Elevators run slow, and WiFi is spotty. TV could be a little newer.

Very nice big room

Front desk employees were rude and unhelpful. I called down to ask for toilet paper and was told I had to come to desk and get it. My son went down to get it and the lady at front desk couldn’t even look away from her phone and tossed the toilet paper onto the counter without saying a word to him. Everyone else that we encounter around the property were friendly and kind.

We enjoyed our stay. Being right on the beach was very convenient and the property has two pools which is very nice. Most of the staff was very nice but front desk service needs a lot of improvement. When checking in, the staff did not great you on a pleasant way felt like we were inconveniencing them. Was given our room key and was told room number and that was it no thank you have a great stay if you need anything let us know. Had to ask how to get to our room and when we did the employee was very short and rude with answering. The AC was not working the greatest, but we were on the 9th floor and it was very hot and humid outside. Overall the location was great everything is walkable and you are right on the beach!

We loved that the hotel was right on the beach. The room was a little outdated but did its job as we weren’t in there very often. Staff were very friendly. Our son locked something in the safe and we couldn’t get it open and they sent someone right up to get it open for us. Would definitely return!

Man at front desk was not helpful and acted like he did not even want to be there. Housekeeping did not get to our room until 3:30 in the afternoon as I was coming back to my room for the day. On the positive note, the people taking care of the pool was their constantly checking the chemicals and trying to keep the pool clean. The view and location was very good.

No complaints except unfriendly front desk staff!!!

The property is ok rooms are clean but the customer service front desk is bad …I recommend to trained few people how deal with customers .. because many people are no come back again good luck

Everything was good until my last day we got stuck with no electric on half the room and they couldn’t fix it no one to came to apologize or called

I took my grandson here for his 10th birthday. It was so wonderful that we are going back in the fall. The 2 outdoor pools were wonderful but the indoor pool and hot tub is very nice if the weather isn’t cooperating. If you book a stay this summer, they offer “Customer Appreciation” week in October for $40 a night! Kita at the front desk is amazing!

Great location, Clean Room, Small issue with my AC making my room feel like the Tundra but the facilities guy came up quick and got it managed. the Rum Shack outside was a nice addition! and having a Starbucks at the front of the property kept my woman smiling in the morning. Pool was a tad chilly but overall great stay!

We had a minor issue at check in but it was quickly resolved. This was the first weekend of their season and everything was clean and working well for our visit. The overflow parking isn’t several blocks away like some other boardwalk properties. It could definitely be a bit loud in the summer. Overall I’d give 9/10.

I stayed at Quality Inn Boardwalk from August 8–11, 2025, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable—right on the boardwalk with easy beach access, walkable dining options, and plenty of shops nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and check-in was smooth. The room was clean and spacious, though a bit dated in decor. Housekeeping did a great job keeping things tidy. Parking was easy and convenient, which is a big plus in Ocean City. The pool area was well-maintained and a nice bonus for winding down after the beach. The only downside was occasional noise from the boardwalk at night, but that’s expected given the location. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot with great access to the beach and boardwalk fun, this is a solid choice. Would definitely consider staying again!

We really loved our stay. Perfect location, central location right on the boardwalk and beach. We didn’t have to get in our car to drive anywhere for the entire week! Amazing views. Great people. And most importantly - very clean! I would definitely go back. The facility just needs some remodeling and upgrades. You can tell a lot of the stuff is older, for example the bathroom and kitchen areas are in need of a remodel. The floors are uneven connecting the buildings together. The pool chairs are visibly rusty. All in all we had a really great stay. As I said, I’d just recommend they put some money into upgrading their facilities.

We went during the July 4th holiday and we had a terrific time. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent. It got the room nice and cold. There are many dining options. Coastal Salt is connected to the hotel and the food was terrific. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Coastal Salt and all three were delicious. There are also many other dining options available, and they are all along the boardwalk or nearby. I would definitely recommend if your going to Ocean City, Maryland.

Ocean view was awesome. Walking distance to Oceans calling venue was perfect. Food around was great. Tiki bar was fun too!

I was able to pre register because we were early. Parked our car and immediately used the pool and beach! Great tiki bar attached to the pool area also a restaurant. Get the sushi! We would definitely stay here again!

It is an older hotel that is in need of some updating. For the daily price they charge for the hotel, they can hook a guest with some better amenities. Bottle water in the rooms, maybe a continental breakfast. Other than those minor details, it was a nice stay. 2 outdoor pools made it nice. Maybe designate one as adult only. My opinion of course. Very convenient location on the boardwalk . Restaurants close by. Beach access was great. All in all, it was a great stay at the Quality Inn Boardwalk.

I've stayed at Quality Inn Boardwalk many times. It is an older hotel building, but clean & I like the convenience of the location right on the boardwalk/beach. the attached restaurant is great! many other interests are within walking distance, full size refrigerator in room, both inside & outside pools, Rum shack fun on premises.

Restaurant and bar close early, room had a musky smell. Overall it was nice

Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance! The inside was updated and our room was very clean. We had a small kitchenette and oceanfront balcony. Over all, very happy with our stay. Outdoor bar, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool and jacuzzi. Located right on the boards, Starbucks right next door, Anthony’s (we ate there for breakfast every morning 😋) one block away. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Our car stayed parked the whole trip. Will definitely book a future stay!!

The hotel was conveniently on the boardwalk. Everybody was super nice and helpful. Some of the guests were a little loud. We did not like the pool bar’s drinks, very little alcohol for the price.
