The mattress was worn out and uncomfortable. They do not do daily housekeeping. Elevator was not working on checkout day. I was on 3rd floor with 2 heavy bags.

This property is dated and worn. It's fairly expensive so should be maintained better. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok but the dining area was nice. We were disappointed the shuttle is no longer a service.

Hotel was very clean, rooms appeared to have been updated somewhat. Housekeeping staff are very thorough, beds were comfortable. No pool, but we weren’t there for a vacation, as we were in town for a concert. Location was pretty decent for what we were in town for.

When we arrived noticed an odd smell in the room although it appeared clean. When we used the bathroom it had a very very strong smell of urine, next to no toilet paper on the roll and the same for the tissue paper. WE got cleaning supplies from the front desk and my wife cleaned the bathroom, the clothes she used were filthy black and rinsed them several times and it took some time to get rid of the smell. This hotel IS by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in .

This was highly disappointing. The room was dingy, dirty, the bathroom had moldy wallpaper paper peeling off the wall. The tub handles had gross back thick mildew all over and not cleaned. This place stunk and looked nothing like pictures.

The breakfasts were great. Food was delicious, great variety, the food area and the kitchen were sparkly clean. In fact the entire hotel was sparkley clean. The staf was very nice and there is a restaurant namea, Las Palapas, right next to the hotel that has the best Mexican food! I live in Los Angeles, and we eat a lot of Mexican food, and this was, by far, some of the best we have had. So convenient to the Comfort Inn. Also, the Comfort Inn had fresh home made cookies every evening at 7pm... so good!! We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Bangor!!

3 night stay to visit Bar Harbor, Bangor, and Orono - everything was great except for the really loud air conditioning vent. Eventually it became white noise, and helped us sleep, but at first it was pretty annoying.

Hotel room was spacious and clean. Room had a microwave and fridge. We found the room quiet. The beds were not co.fortable, though. Very hard and we both had back aches for days from the horrible hardness of the beds. Another disappointment was that they do not offer housekeeping service for overnight stays (unless 3 or more days). I like tobhave my room freshened up when on vacation and find it frustrating when hotels do not offer this service, yet still charge high prices. The breakfast was awesome and even had gf muffins. Hot breakfast options such as eggs, bacon, sausages, gravy, biscuits, waffles, etc. The hotel was nice enough, however we wont be able to stay again due to the uncomfortable beds.

The room was was non smoking but when we first entered the room we could smell cigarette smoke. When walking down the hall , housekeeping was spraying air fresher because smoke smell. The other issue was the small bed pillows. Those were horrible. King size bed with 6 mini pillows.

Check was quick and staff was super friendly. Room was clean and well appointed. Was going to concert at amphitheater and it was raining so front desk put out rain ponchos for anyone attending concert. Nice little extra that was appreciated

To leave the property without a manager for the 3 nights we were there was a mistake We made a request that needed manager's approval and no manager was there to be consulted The room wasn't properly cleaned we had to borrow a vacuum because staff had left by the time we checked in The tea/coffee maker had an old tea bag in it from a preview stay

Beginning with checking in, I enjoyed my stay at Comfort Inn. I was welcomed, provided with (working) room keys and shown that the WIFI info was included on the room key sleeve. My room was clean, fresh and quiet. Temperature conrol was digital and responsive. Daily room freshening not provided as good eco-measure other than upon request. In-room coffee easily provided upon request at front desk. Coffee and tea available in kitchen area. Cookies baked at night and available as warm night-time snack, making lobby smell wonderful. Bed was firm and comfy thanks to soft mattress pad, best of both firmess and softness desires. Elevator was responsive, making upper floor room easy to get to. All in all, highly recommend Comfort Inn.

Excellent location that is central yet removed enough to be quiet. The staff went above and beyond, the interior and rooms are very clean, and the rooms are modern with new furniture and outfittings. The best hotel at this price point I've been in in years.

We love staying here and will always return as it is a consistent clean safe property. The breakfast is amazing though we prefer scrambled eggs as opposed to the fried eggs but this place is perfect and comfortable. Staff is so friendly and helpful and attentive.

Staff were friendly. Hot chocolate and cookies were available when we got back that night. Beds were comfortable and roomy. I loved how much room there was in the bathroom. Breakfast options were enough for all four of us to eat enough to be happy. (Two of us are very picky eaters). The only things I would change would be having bacon/sausage available instead of just ham and to have regular yogurt instead of just the Greek variety. We will stay there again when we have the need to stay in Bangor.

Room was located on second floor near the fire stairs so the kitchen was underneath and breakfast smells wafted up just before 6 am. Otherwise great spot as away from the elevators and an overall quiet hotel. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Snacks at 3 pm and cookies at 7 pm downstairs. Windows could be opened to let the nice air flow through.
