The swimming pool is more like a small puddle compared with the featured picture, otherwise the hotel is adequate

It was mostly good. The two things that I was disappointed in was the parking and the breakfast. When I booked I was under the impression that both were free, but that turned out not to be true. It was also a little confusing how the parking worked with the validation and all that. I think that there has got to be a better was to approach that.

We stayed at bangor aviator for four nights and not once did anyone come to our room. We had to take the garbage down the hall to throw away and we took a couple towels from the pool area to shower later. The pool was nice but small, 6 people would be too many in there. The gym was not bad for its size. The breakfast they have there are little add water containers and cheezits that you have to purchase for a dumb amount of money. They staff are rude. I witnessed a customer trying to validate his parking ticket(because it's 18$ a day) and the employee kept asking if he was checking out. I mean he literally asked for validation 3 times that i saw and she totally ignored him. I did see the cleaning crew a couple times. Consisted of one woman that looked like she was on meth. The hallways were always clean, that's what she must have been doing since she never came to our room. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. And i will not recommend the place to anyone. Thank you

Nice room. Weird ck in. Didn’t like paying for parking.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. However, I booked this hotel because of the pool for the children and they could only use it one day. The pool was closed the other two days.

Good choice for what we had to do , school graduation. A few negatives one elevator broken , loud A/c in room , pool closed. This is are second stay there. Will stay there again it’s a good value. Very clean.

The walkway Bridge over to the airport terminal kept us dry because it was raining.

Property and room were satisfactory. Not told at check-in or on any info in room that housekeeping must be requested to receive. Had to have my room keys re-programmed two separate times during a 4-night stay after failing to work to enter my room. Hotel does not have designated parking so have to pay daily airport parking rates. Don’t think I’ll use this property for my return trips to visit family in the area.

No problems at all. But parking works strangly. Use airport hourly and get validated.

I found HAIR IN BETWEEN PILLOWS. THE BED SEEMED CLEAN and UNTOUCHED but when I took out the top pillows there were grey hairs. I did not use any pillows and slept just an hour. gross. I have photos i wish I can share here.

Room was dirty with fresh wine spill- still wet.

We found a bra and socks in the room under the luggage stand when we entered that should have been easily seen when cleaning. We didn’t have a cover for our ice bucket and had to ask at the front desk.

My room was not very clean. There was a dirty napkin on the side of the bed. There was a noise coming from the bathroom ceiling. The location is excellent, just in front of the airport.

Carpet was so stained and dirty it was very off putting. Items in the breakfast area ran out (cream cheese, sandwiches, ) In retrospect we should have asked for a different room upon seeing the carpet. So gross. The electricity went out along one entire wall and I must say it was fixed rather promptly.

We decided to sleep one night in Bangor on our way to PEI, Canada. I knew this would be a good enough hotel for the purpose. The gentleman who checked us in was just perfect. I felt bad interrupting his dinner to ask some questions but he was alone there. That night, eager to take my shower and get to bed, I was met with 0 shower gel and 0 shampoo once in the shower. They had these metal containers on the wall and they were all empty. I had to use the only soap available which was a facial soap. I made do and once out of the shower I grabbed my towel from the back of the bathroom door only to realize that there was a hair - not mine, stuck to the door where the towel was. The next morning my body was a bit itchy from using that soap. Against my better judgement, I decided to make myself a coffee. After one sip that coffee sat on the table unfinished as it was undrinkable. As we went down to check out, the gentleman at reception - not the same lovely individual from the previous night, looked like he’d been out partying all night. I proceeded to inform him of my experience, to which his reaction was a stare and a: ok you’re all set. I mean I realize I was not at the Ritz but the room was still a considerable amount for a small town, in need of renovation, airport hotel. So yeah, I expected shower gel at the very least. And a sorry from the reception dude. But hey at least I saved 8$ by the hotel validating my parking ticket.

I hesitate to give any business a bad review because people are trying to make a living. But this place was filthy.

The room was not that clean.

The room was comfortable. However, during this stay the noise from the room next door was very annoying late into the night.

Check-in was quick and easy. I especially appreciate that the hotel representative did not mention my name or room number as I'm a woman traveling alone and so cautious about others in line at the desk overhearing this information. My only complaint is that the walls seemed pretty thin as I could hear guests on either side of my room having conversations, so guessing they could hear me as well.

Clean, but noticed that bath light fixtures need refinishing or replacing

I like the fact that the hotel has a bridge to the airport so when I need to check-in at 4:15am, I do not have to ask my daughter who lives 12 miles away to wake up at 3:30am to drive me. I did not check out the restaurant and I leave too early for breakfast... However, although the bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean, here are some suggestions: 1. Have a proper body wash gel in the shower and not 2 shampoos and one conditioner. When one realizes that there is no proper soap while already in the tub, it's too late to call for the reception to provide it. 2. Have the warm water in the shower fixed asap!! It started boiling then became icy cold and this alternance that one can accept in a Scandinavian sauna lasted for the entirety of my shampoo/shower. That was a huge disappointment. 3. Have some free cookies in the bedroom or at least in the lobby for the 4am early travelers who cannot enjoy breakfast since the hotel's breakfast shift starts after their flight has already taken off...

Ok but run down. Bathroom door hung poorly - rm 810 - constantly opening and blocking access to door towel hook. No wall outlet on one side of bed.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I have stayed at hotels all over the world from three star to five star and this hotel had the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. I would definitely stay here again!!!

The air conditioning is very loud.

Time to redo the bathrooms

Loved it for the location, was awesome, but the bathroom door stuck and hat to be yanked and pushed to get it open. And the toilet seemed to run a long time after flushed. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend it and would stay there again

The hotel is rather dated in that there aren't any plug ins next to the beds or places near the night stand to charge your phone. Going to the hotel from the airport I had multiple suitcases and other personal belongs. The front doors to enter the hotel are manual to open and was challenging given I was alone and had my hands full. The room next to me was extremely noisy in the mornings with small children running up and down the hall and screaming. (The walls were very thin).

Staff was not friendly and not very helpful!

The check in process was terrible the women at the front desk was terrible. Very rude would not help us with the park n fly. I booked directly through the hotel but she kept saying that she was unable to give us the park in fly because it was booked through a third party. Very disappointed.

The staff was top notch. The room was clean and comfortable and the overall experience was great.

The staff was poorly trained to inform guest of need to know details like having to pay to park. We left the room to go get food, the D&D was on our door. We returned to find our room open and stripped. Offered ko kind of refund a night free, nothing. Very disappointed ☹️

I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel unfortunately. My flight to Bangor was cancelled and I was stranded in New York the night of my reservation. I did not find out that I would not make it until 10:30 pm that night, and immediately called the hotel to let them know. They informed me that since the reservation was handled through Expedia I would have to get a refund through them. After contacting Expedia, they attempted to resolve it with the hotel, but then informed me that the hotel refused to make any exception to it’s cancellation policy and refused to refund me for my reservation even though there was nothing I could have done to get there. This kind of inflexibility is unacceptable for a property that is handling travelers.

No breakfast served as advertised. Kitchen was closed and I was not told when I checked, I woke up came down to eat to be given this news. Thankfully the person on the desk Rose found a bit of food for me and my wife to tie us over.

The only negative about our stay was during check in. We arrived about 4:30pm. The agent handling check in either didn’t like his job or had a bad day. Completely robotic. We felt we were intruding on his free time. Everyone else was great. Friendly, welcoming & happy. The staff at breakfast was terrific. But for our feeling of being intrusive at check in, we would have rated this experience at 5 stars- excellent.

The draw is the convenience to the airport. Otherwise another middle of the road Bangor hotel. The signage could be way better. Coming in at night when everything is snow covered, it was difficult to figure out where to go.

Great location with direct connection to the airport via an enclosed walkway Friendly helpful staff clean comfortable rooms they will pay for one night parking ($12) but no help if you need to leave your car several days for a trip. We had a 5AM flight so no breakfast

Very convenient for overnights prior to an early flight. Steps from security.

Walk across the walkway and you are right in the airport. This eliminates a lot of anxiety over trying to rush to airport and deal with parking and traffic

The hotel and my room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The best experience was dinner in the hotel - Nothing extra about the decor but the cook was really wonderful - delicious hamburger and fries. I had asked for a side of broccoli after hearing another customer rave about her steak and especially the broccoli - they were out, but the chef offered to prepare spinach - it was wonderfully fresh, perfectly steamed and seasoned. Everything I saw being served was freshly prepared and served well. I'll use this hotel again when I have to travel from Bangor - 50 steps from the airport entrance!

Large well appointed room with all the amenities one needs. Friendly staff, nice bar, good restaurant, great breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Conveniently located right by the airport terminal. Excellent breakfast! The blueberry pancakes are amazing! Highly recommend this hotel!

It was extremely convenient to be so close to the airport and the rental car return the staff. Instructed this exactly what to do. I just wish it would’ve had free breakfast.

The hotel stay was good The food in the evening was disgusting I had to return my food. The evening waitress was inattentive and unhelpful !! The breakfast was good and the morning waitress was lovely 😊

Convenient for a late airport arrival. Breakfast should be included for the price of 200$ a night.

This hotel was incredibly convenient! We had an early morning flight, so we stayed overnight, and it was such a relief not having to worry about driving to the airport at dawn. We arrived the evening before and ate at the on-site restaurant — the food was absolutely delicious, and the lobster roll was amazing! Highly recommend for anyone flying out early.

Room was clean and quiet for being at the airport. Never heard a plane take off. Loved the convenience of staying here, just a short walk to security and our gate. Prices in the restaurant are a bit high. $13 for a bowl of oatmeal....$17 for 2 eggs, 3 slices of bacon, 2 toast and some homefries. If the juice had been included that would not have stung so bad but the juice was another $5. $50 for two people to have breakfast if too much
