Pool is permanently closed. Furniture was disheveled, phone unplugged, tv unplugged. Surfaces are clearly damaged and unclean. Smoke detector missing, bare wires hanging from the ceiling.

Was very horrible! Stay from this location and the Stevensville location was rude and inconsiderate of people. We found other individuals clothing items in our room and items was broke as well. Pool was not accessible.very very disappointed. WILL NOT be coming back to staff and condition of both places.

Older property that has not been updated. Pool not working, Stained ceiling.

Where do I start? Upon check in the young man tried to give us a one king bed room even though I booked a 2 queen bed for all 3 of us. Smells of marijuana. The pool was closed until further noticed. Room key had to be reset everyday or it wouldn’t work. Only one ice machine for whole hotel and it barely worked. Never got clean towels unless I asked. Housekeeping never cleaned my room the 4 days I was there. Had to ask for a shower curtain so we could shower. Room itself was not clean, the telephone was filthy, furniture seriously outdated. Just over all. It a good experience and I won’t go there again.

Check in was easy. The room smelled less than freshly cleaned. The walls had brown splatter of an unknown origin that I was able to wash off with a washcloth. The bed "skirt" had dried white substance over a large portion of its surface. The pullout mattress had food crumbs in it. I did inform the front desk and they simply smiled and offered no assistance. The pool had a light fixture floating in it. The hot tub was broken. The majority of fitness equipment was out of order. The ice maker was out of order.

the hotel is unjustifiably expensive. it is worn down, dirty, the service is awful, and though they advertise a pool, it always seems to be out of service. other than the location, there is nothing redeeming about this hotel and would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. the pull out sofa was dirty and uncomfortable. the blankets on the bed were gross. the bathroom smelled of mildew and when a toilet got plugged up, there was no one there to take care of it. as i said, look elsewhere!!

It seems like the hotel was run by one person who made breakfast, worked the front desk, and did everything else so the quality of service was not good. The hotel is 15 minutes from the beach but it was quiet and comfortable. The pool was disgusting, the water was yellow and smelt funny and they were no pool towels. The breakfast was not too great, there was no orange juice and they were out of items a lot. When we first arrived the toilet in the first room we were assigned did not work and it was backed up so then we had to move everything to another room. The elevator was making creaky noises and the last day we stayed there it was out of order so we had to carry the stuff from the third floor downstairs.

We stayed three nights. The pool was closed for 3/4 of our stay. Had to kill four bugs in our room. The hotel location itself seemed okay, but the surrounding neighborhoods did not feel safe. The breakfast was mediocre, but we accepted that - as it was free. Cheaper than other hotels in the area. I prefer nicer hotels. But given the price, this was okay for our family.

A/C did not work well and was not on in common areas. No towels in the pool area and took a long time to get staff to supply them. Ice machines on 1st floor only. One broken. One BARELY functioned...5mins for one bucket. TV remote didn't work. Buttons on TV hardly worked. Shower pressure was light and water hardly came out no matter what we did with the on/off or temp. Pool had zero chlorine smell and was warm...use your imagination. We made the staff aware, but the response was, "ok"

I hate leaving bad reviews but this hotel theres trash all around out side got in and there system's was down so they were writing down check ins the lady asked to see the confirmation number and gave us the wrong room went back and she corrected the mistake and put us in the king suit we had reserved got to the third floor elevator sounds a little sketchy but curtains and drapes have mold we decided at this point to just go with it last night we had to kill roaches in the bathroom oh and fyi because they say they have a pool theirs is closed until further notice

Upon entering our room, there was a terrible musty smell. I hoped that running the A/C unit for a bit would help, but that didn't do much. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling and everything in the room constantly felt damp. Would NOT recommend staying here to anybody.

It had cockeroaches in the public bathroom in the lobby. The guest I came with had to move rooms because they found one lying on their bed coming in first night. My fiancé let the guy on staff know and he thought it was a joke.

Far and away the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was dirty or sticky or both, we checked in late and really had no other option other than to stay, but I wish that we hadn't. My spouse and I were traveling with two children under the age of seven and booked a room with a king size bed and a pull-out couch. The couch looked like there had been a murder and there was literally crusty old vomit on the wall next to the couch. The bathtub was filthy and I made the kids leave their shoes on after I touched the carpet. In my bare feet. I've stayed in a lot of places and have lived in many cities and small towns across America and Europe, and I have never ever stayed in a place as gross as this. The folks who on this place should really be ashamed of themselves.

During my stay at this location, upon entering the room it was filthy. The inside of the microwave had food splattered inside so I just chose to ignore it and not use it. The sofa bed was filthy, had no sheets on them and a disgustingly filthy airpod case stuck between the bed. I had to repeatedly ask for towels, no one had come to clean my room since I checked in, besides one time (because they were suppose to be retrieving the crack pipe underneath the couch that my 4 year old daughter grabbed). I told the front desk about the situation, they said “so sorry, I’ll have housekeeping come and get that”, which they did not. It was very unsettling, it felt as if the room hadn’t been cleaned besides the beds being made. The room itself smelled of nothing but SMOKE. Which I found confusing because the room I selected was a SMOKE FREE room. Towels, we had been given had been stained, which led to us having to ask for more. The service at this hotel was NOT good! This use to be one of my FAVORITE hotels to stay at but not anymore.

The room was gross. There were stains on the walls, lamps, and furniture. The bathroom door did not close all the way and there was no curtain on the shower. Plus the towels had stains on them as well.

The hotel was dated, had a moldy/mildew smell and the walls were very thin. The wallpaper was peeling, the microwave was dirty, there was no light cover in the bathroom and the couch bed had several stains on the sheets. The ice machines were broken except one and no one kept up on breakfast so it was messy around the food with several items empty and no one to refill them. The beds come with only a very thin duvet and one was pretty lopsided, but I slept fairly well nonetheless. Check in was easy, the mini fridge in the room stayed cold, the heating/cooling unit worked well and the pool looked decent (we did not swim) but overall I probably wouldn’t book this again.

Bathroom not clean. Our towels were put on very dusty shelves, dead bugs under sink in plain view and white powdery stuff on the floor by the tub/shower. Pool was very cold and jacuzzi was also cold.

The bathroom clearly had a leak at one point. There were several patch jobs that were falling apart. There was peeling plaster with mold behind it above the shower. The shower head had so much calcium deposit on that it barely had pressure. There were 6 of us in the room and only 2 towels. I asked for more, 3-4, I was given 2 more. There wasn’t enough parking. We had a pull out bed. I asked for more linens and was given a ripped blanket and just a flat sheet. The mirror on our closet door was broken and our kids almost cut theirselves on it. Definitely not worth $200-$250 a night!!

Although there were obvious areas of deep cleaning (such as the bathroom tub, around the sofa and walls), it was clean enough to stay in. The room chair was hard to move around and could have been updated and the sofa bed mattress was really disgusting and uncomfortable to sleep on.

A couple stains on blankets and sheets, missing cover for ceiling light, and the air conditioning didn’t work well but front desk gave us a small fan that helped. Staff was nice. They were working on the pool, but let us swim. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again.

Clean room but old, damaged furniture. No USB connections available (outdated). Not many bathroom amenities. Breakfast was less than great.

Shower was horrible pressure, broken parts of shower, smelled like urine light bulb was blown, never got serviced, beds r hard to sleep on, fridge made noises all night long

Over all very nice stay. Three negatives that didn't impact our stay too much....but need addressing..... 1. Shower head was old with buildup. 20 dollar fix...it needs replacing. And there was no water pressure. The sink, on the other hand, had great pressure. Weird. 2. In the bathroom...the wallpaper was coming off which looks bad. 3. Hair dryer outside plastic broken, showing inner metal. Probably not too safe. Again, they are about 20 bucks....replace it asap. Room 222. I'd absolutely stay again.

First thing when you walk in you are hit with a smell that will continue all the way to your room. Room was semi clean, makeup on the toilet back, that wiped off with a little effort. The dead bolt wouldn't lock unless I lifted up on the door very hard. Paint and wall paper coming off, black out curtain looked like a lion got ahold of it. Turn the TV on and its automatically on an extremely loud static channel. Oh and the shower!! Absolutley horrible, the water trickled out of the shower head, there was more pressure in the sink!! Honestly dont even think it was worth the price paid. Wish i would've opted for a different place.

Below average. The hotel pool was close it was not mentioned before reservation found out at check in. Limited choices for breakfast. Phones not working. Beds very uncomfortable, Limited staff. When ask for bedding I was told to come get it myself. The 1st room key did not work. Thank God I only spend one night.

Easy access to the freeway (there was construction at the time, but nothing too horrid for Michigan). Great staff, they were very friendly and also able to accommodate a late checkout. Comfy bed and clean room/bathroom. Would not recommend breakfast unless you absolutely have to. Overall, a lovely stay!

The staff was great. Location worked well for the wedding we attended.

They changed me $100 deposit and never got it back

The bathroom floor wheb I walked in had a puddle in the middle of the floor. I hadnt turned in the shower or any thing. The desk clerk jusr gave me more towels to soak up the water.

We checked into room 216 at night. The following morning we discovered that a previous guest had puked in the NE corner of the room. There was dried puke stain on the wall and a dried pile of puke on the carpet behind the side table by the sofa. The room service apparently overlooked this during room cleaning and they rented this room in these conditions. Hotel management came up to room and took a picture upon complaint. We asked for a comp. No refund or future credit given even after later complaints. Travelers beware! A stay there can be very disgusting.

Check in was ridiculous, I'm a foreman in charge of a crew; checking in is my responsibility and making the payment is as well. But the front desk gave me difficulty in this process. The property was poorly maintained. As though the bare minimum was being done. The pool was closed. The window in my room would not close completely and lock. And to top off the stay, check out was a nightmare. The attendee atbthe front desk, had ear buds in, was texting instead of helping me, and refused to give me my receipt because all the other rooms had not brought back their room keys. I of course need the receipt for verification, but the attendee chose to hold it hostage for a stupid plastic card. Will not stay here again

We stayed for 3 nights and asked multiple times to get service in our room to no avail. Half of the time no one answers the phone. We had to go downstairs to get more towels, toilet paper, tissues and the garbage was piling because they never emptied our garbage. The bedspread was dirty and with cigarette holes, the “free luxury continental breakfast” was disappointing and the juice machine was broken so only coffee and plain milk, not many choices for kids. Pool reeks of bleach, there are puddles of water from the pool room to the elevator most of the times and the elevator itself stinks like strong bleach all the time. My sister left her gym shoes in the room by mistake and they keep on giving us the run around about how they need to “wait for the cleaning crew” to get back to them. We came back 2 days ago and still haven’t heard back and have called them inquiring about the shoes multiple times. There is never a manager on site, just absolutely the WORST EXPERIENCE for a hotel that charges $190 per night! So yourself a favor and don’t stay there!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Hotel was clean and the air conditioning was cold. I stay here whenever I'm in town. They are doing major road construction right now, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

The best was checking in and out! It was quick, efficient and friendly! The clerk was Ahbi(?) and he was excellent. And my room was clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. Thank you!

If you need a place to stay and don’t want anything special, this place is fine. It’s aged with lipstick upgrades that make it look newer, but it’s still old (toilet flush handle broke during our one night stay, uncomfortable beds, staff was friendly but very hard to find. Not a terrible area, but definitely not an area to go and hangout. Room was clean and tidy, property was clean.

Good location off I94 exit. Room had a musty odor to it. Cobbwebs evident in corners and on wall hangings. Staff was helpful and pleasant

Close to Interstate

I liked that this hotel is close to quite a few restaurants and stores. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I took two stars off because their pool is down and from other reviews has been down since sometime last year (I was hoping this would have been resolved, but whatever the issue is with the pool, it has had it down for at least a year). We also ended up having to switch rooms because the mattress in our first room was stained so badly and whatever had been spilled on it had bled through to the mattress pad (which was cheap and thin btw). But, even in the new room there were stains on the mattress, cover, and towels. I think anything that is visibly stained and does not come clean with washing or scrubbing it, should be replaced. I will add the place did look and smell clean. The hallway leading to our room smelled quite lovely. But the stains on everything soiled this hotel for me and I would not stay here again.

Decent hotel especially for the price. Room was mostly clean except for some gross splatter on the wall by the trashcan. The mini fridge was barely cool. Someone had spilled something sticky outside of the elevator and it never got cleaned up the entire stay at the hotel. Breakfast was disappointing also. Hardly any cereal or milk, no yogurt, or breakfast meat. All of the fruit was brown and sad looking. Decent coffee though! Overall, we'd stay here again because the price point was right on but definitely will pack our own breakfast.

Amazing stay. I felt so comfortable, the building was lively, and the breakfast was so delicious and everything was there.

Everything was good accept for the fact that I've been there like 3 times in the last month and each time the pool has been closed and the juice has been warm. These things need to be fixed.

The room smells bad, breakfast were not that good (my son throw the cereals as it taste old, sausages are kinda hard, oranges are old),I had a hard time figuring out the shower. However, the hotel accommodates a family with 6 persons and the 2 queen bed are comfortable. Overall, the price was below $200.00 for our budget.

The property itself is not bad. The lobby of the hotel lends you to believe it’s a well kept hotel! However, it needs a better cleaning staff and better upkeep. The pool water has a funny smell and burned my daughter’s eyes so bad we had to run water on them in the shower. We watched the front desk staff come into the pool area and “test” the water by scooping up a handful of it and smelling it. The jets in the hot tub didn’t work and when we tried to turn them on a smelly, cloudy water shot out of them but nothing else. They also didn’t keep it stocked with towels. The room looked decent on entry but you could quickly see the cleaning flaws. The floor smelled musty as if water had been spilled and never cleaned up. The bathtub was dirty and the sheets were stained. We went to pull out the sofa bed and it had no sheets, pillows or blankets. After I called the front desk for them I was informed we had to come down to get them. My kids went down and they said they’d have housekeeping bring the pillows up. After 30 minutes of waiting and trying to call the front desk again, we had to go back down for them. Breakfast choices were typical hotel breakfast but stale. Bagels were hard on one side and soggy on the other. Cereal was stale and hard boiled eggs were dried out. Waffle maker didn’t work yet the mix to it and utensils were still sitting out dirty which made me question when the last time they had been cleaned.

Breakfast was great! The doors in our room were very dirty and the 3rd floor window was left open with no screen.
