This had to be one of the nicest hotels and breakfast that I have stayed at in many years. My only concern was when I returned from an evening event at 10pm, there was only one parking space available. There were numerous construction vehicles in their parking area.

Check-in was smooth, and our room was quite decent. However, we did encounter a few issues: the shower door was misaligned and would slam shut, and the shelves were also uneven, causing items to frequently fall off. Additionally, the lobby closes at 10 PM, and while a security guard is present, it was a bit disappointing because we had hoped to play cards and didn’t have a suitable table in our room for all four of us.

So far so good. We are having an awesome time. Property is very nice and fresh. Only down is exterior landscaping and parking lot is unfinished. Plenty of available parking. I am a bit sad there was a problem with the pool and the children lost about 2 hours swim time, a major deal in Michigan December. Also, I was charged $75 for my cat for one night. Doesn't seem pet friendly. Seems pet jacking.

The room was clean and comfortable. This was our second stay at this hotel. My granddaughter claims this is her hotel. 😆 The breakfast was great. I love it when oatmeal and toppings are offered. The pool is warm. We will definitely be back.

This is one of the nicest and cleanest hotels we have stayed in, and we’ve stayed in quite a few! I would and will stay here every time I visit. Indoor pool and breakfast were great. Room + bathroom were clean…hard to find in a hotel these days. If you are considering it, STAY HERE!

Our family trip to Michigan started off bad (but I’m sure it will get better!) We got 2 rooms and both rooms were dirty. Used linens in both. Dirty towels with hair and lots of hair in shower and floor of bathroom. I usually don’t have any issues with Hampton Inns, but this was bad. I asked for the manager to talk to me, but they on a call. Then on a call when I called a couple hours later. Then left vm w/ no response. If they clean the rooms better, I’m sure this would be a great place to stay.

We were very worried about our safety at this hotel. My husband ended up sleeping in the car to protect our belongings. The breakfast was not edible in the morning and we ended up having to search out other options. The room was not that clean.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had hair all over the shower floor that was not ours and was there when we checked in. Talked to the front desk and all we were told is that she would let house keeping know. Thatnks for that after we already had to clean up the bathroom ourselves. Nkt impressed.

It's a nice hotel just avoid room #203. If they put you in room #203 request a different room so you won't have to move in the middle of the night. It sounds like sirens are going off in the room. I unplugged the appliances and it still was going off. Finally at 1:30am I just went down to the desk and asked to be moved which they did. Staff was great hotel was fine I just got unlucky with the room.

Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Hotel was very noisy and the walls are thin. We woke up because the person next door had an alarm going off. Hotel is hard to find and is almost in the Home Depot parking lot. Very disappointed.

The hotel was very clean & seemed newer. Front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was okay, nothing to rave about. Huge king room, lots of space. The biggest issue we had were the pillows being incredibly soft & thin and the lack of sound proofing. We were given a connecting room and could hear all of our neighbors’ conversation, alarms, partying, etc all night long. A lot of people running up and down the halls and slamming doors after midnight as well. This was the most reasonably priced quality hotel during the tulip festival (despite being an hour away) and there was a reason for that given the surrounding area.

This was a one night stay on our last night of our trip. The refrigerator did not work but all we had were waters to keep cold. We got there late in the evening so did not ask for them to change it out. Otherwise a very nice stay.

The room was very clean and neat. There were a couple of problems. The first was that the heat would not stay on. It could only be set for automatic and had a movement sensor. Despite doing a dance in front of the sensor we couldn't get it to stay on. It would stay on a couple of minutes and then turn off. To get it started again we had to raise the heat and do the dance for a few more minutes of heat. The room remained cold through the evening. Inexplicably it seemed much better the next morning despite the heat running no more than the night before. Perhaps the wind had changed. Second, the shower door was not level, meaning you had to manually lift the door to get it to open or close. In addition, there was only a handle that was capable of being lifted on the outside of the shower. It seemed to get better after the water leaked out of the shower through the open door and lubricated the sill. The breakfast was good. Food was plentiful and kept freshly stocked.

Great rooms/layout and bathroom. Love ALL the wall hanging hooks for towels, clothes, jackets, whatever. The electric window shades and climate control were also nice. A very well designed hotel.

The service was not good. We took a red-eye and we’re not able to check in at all early, which is fine they have a check-in time of 3pm, just would’ve been nice to let us check in early (and I’ve never had a hotel not let me check in early). But the staff were unprofessional, literally one lady was not even wearing shoes at the front desk, and was picking her nose when we walked up. Our first room smelled musty, and then I stepped in sopping wet carpet where the AC had been leaking for who knows how long. We tried to call the front desk from the room and the phone just gave us the busy signal. My husband went down and told them about the AC and that the phone went to busy signal and they just said “oh…yeah” then a man came to the door and asked if this was the room with the leaking AC, I said yes, and then he asked if we “used the room a lot” I said no and he said “great I will just have to freshen it up then” which was a huge red flag. The next room we got (almost an hour later) was fine, less mold in the shower, and no soaked carpet, but everything was damp and still musty. We were there for 4 nights and never once got fresh towels or and toiletries restocked, even though we were told they would provide fresh towels every other day. The area was also horrible. Abandoned motel next door with drugged people wandering in the middle of the street and in the parking lot. Buildings have busted out windows and boarded up doors, terrible area, only stay here if you are desperate.

Bri at front desk was exceptional. Housekeeping staff was friendly and pleasant. I’m not fond of Hampton’s “housekeeping on request” for extended stays. I made multiple trips to front desk for items like towels and soap and carried my own trash to a common waste can due to these not being done automatically. On my fourth morning I noticed the sign on the bathroom mirror advising room service was on request. There are so many signs all over the place, it would take an overnight stay to read all of them and an additional night to ensure compliance to all the signs. When I told the housekeeper, she made notes of what I told her needed done and told me she would inform her supervisor. In short, I would just appreciate a daily refresh without having to ask. Breakfast was fabulous. Sondra is an amazing people-person. She kept the breakfast area well supplied all the way up until closing and kept the area pristine. Thank you for this opportunity to review. Hotels.com is a one-star as far as customer service.

This day was good. It started off very bad when I called to say I would be there late and they acknowledged that they would be there. When I got there, no one was at the desk and I had to beat on the doors for 15 minutes for someone to finally show up. There was a phone right outside the door which I use to call the desk but I could see no one was there. I called and told them that I would be there late and yet there was no one there when I got there. I got there at 11:30. I don’t think that is too late to have someone there. They finally came and opened the door.

Great overnight stay while traveling to our destination. The hotel was clean, updated and comfortable. We felt safe in the location with easy access to get on and off the highway we were traveling on. It seemed rather odd having to go through Home Depot to get to, but then it felt more safe and secluded. There were grass areas to walk our dog and there was also a poop station. The breakfast was a standard Hampton Inn one. We were traveling with my 85 year old granny as well. I booked a handicapped room for her, which on hotels.com it shows a picture of a walk through shower - it was not! That was the only downfall to our stay. I was nervous for her having to go over the rim of the bathtub. Thankfully it did have a bar she could hold on to. All in all I would stay here again. It felt new, safe and very clean.

Friendly staff, comfy beds and good water pressure. We stayed here to visit St Joseph for the weekend. Road leading to the hotel has some pot holes and the hotel is kind of back behind Home Depot. The hotel was very clean, felt safe. Average pool (not very big) but water temperature was nice so everyone could enjoy. Would stay here again.

I was originally looking for hotels for a different weekend at twice the price. When my weekend dates changed and this was all that was left at short notice I went in with low expectations but I was awesomely surprised! Great pool but no hot tub. Clean room, adequate free breakfast, safe area for overnight parking. Went really well and I'll definitely stay here again for half the cost of the other guys.

This hotel is kind of in the parking lot of a Home Depot and GPS is a little awkward getting you there. Nonetheless, the hotel itself is very clean and welcoming. The staff is super friendly. My biggest complaint is that the bed and pillows are way too soft, for my old bones. I needed a more firm surface to make the sleeping comfortable.

New hotel, with great amenities!! Check in was quick!! Only downside was the location. The surrounding area does not seem like a very safe place, however it is tucked away on a dead end street, so it still felt safe near the property. Staff were very friendly!! Coffee was always hot and breakfast was always full of typical hotel food!!

Our stay at the Hampton was good. The property is obviously fairly new and in good condition. The hotel was a great option to stay with our four legged friend and there were many dogs at the hotel during our stay. The hotel breakfast offered good options and coffee was available 24 hours a day. I was pleasantly surprised to be selected as the Guest of the Day and provided with a Goodie Bag upon arrival and extra Hilton Honors Points!
