Very easy checkin, rooms spacious and clean. Unfortunately they advertise a small bar and restaurant, but they were closed on Monday Jan 1. I got the impression it is hit or miss that they will be open. We walked next door to the Marriott. Excellent food and service. Would be hard to walk there if we had had snow.

It was very noisy! People locking cars at all hours, constant flights, noisy air conditioner that starts and stops. In addition, the bar was closed. We just wanted a snack and a glass of wine and specifically chose this hotel because it had a bar and we couldn’t go offsite with no car. One more thing: $6 bottle of water? Really?

Airport pick up was miserable. Had to call three times the driver disregarded us the first time around so we stood out in the heat for 45 minutes… Totally unsatisfactory arrangement for getting you from the airport to the hotel… I would pick another hotel just based on that.

The hotel itself was great, however the front desk staff complete opposite. I waited for a shuttle from the airport to the hotel for 1 hour. Every time I called I was told “I don’t know where the driver is.” After I was told he was going to be there every 30 minutes. When he did show up, he took a whole shuttle full of flight attendants after they were only there for minutes. I was told I have to continue to wait and that he would have to return. It was very frustrating after traveling and it being cold and dark.

This happened to me before staying here and it happened again this time. The shuttle service is awful! Waited over 40 minutes and made multiple calls to the hotel for the shuttle and was given inaccurate times over and over. All other hotels had looped several times at the airport and they hadn’t even shown up once. When the driver came he was in a bad mood as if he was being inconvenienced and slammed the shuttle door shut with an attitude. As nice as the rooms and the rest of the hotel are. I don’t think I can stay here solely on the shuttle service.

There was so much dust in this hotel in the corners in the hallway. It wasn’t just the dust from the construction. The beds were too soft and the room wasn’t clean. There were hairs of other people in the bathroom and the sink was clogged. When I woke up in the morning I noticed black mold in the ceiling. The facility did not provide what I would have expected for this price point. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, I’m sure they can’t control the amount of dust in the hotel.

Super close to the airport and comfortable rooms and beds. I was skeptical about the Bistro-it didn’t look like it could do more that microwave premade food-but I was wrong. Had a very tasty burger and fries. Highly recommend. The only note is just that it is close to the airport so you hear some planes taking off.

It was good for what I needed. Really close to the airport. There was some mild noise from planes and highway traffic but not bad. The bed was way to soft for my liking but you can’t please everyone. I appreciated the refrigerator in the room and the desk.

Hotel was clean and convenient proximity to the airport. Airport shuttle provided by the hotel was untimely with our return trip. “Restaurant” was more of a Bar with few food choices, and very pricey. Booked double queen room. Ended up with two full size beds which wasn’t realized until we we’re going to bed. Slept terrible due to this with one bed having to fit two adults. When voiced concern at checkout they blamed us for this, though itinerary showed two queens. Will not return to hotel when we need to stay near airport again in July.

Weather delays in Detroit forced flight cancelations. Next available flight was the following day. It was 11 pm and we needed a hotel. This hotel was a lifesaver! Free airport shuttle service.
