Four Points By Sheraton - Saginaw

We wanted to stay at a place that had a pool. I looked at all the hotels in the area and found this one. Pictures show a great pool. We got there and its CLOSED for renovation. Would like to know that when booking. Excuse given was they were not allowed to update there web site or affiliates with that information from Marriott corporate. Very disappointed especially when you prepay and not get what you expected.

Hotel is in a great,, conventient location, with lots of food and shopping options nearby. My only disappointment was that the restaurant/bar was closed. I look forward to a glass of wine (or two) at the end of the day when traveling. The website needs to be updated saying that it is closed.

Almost the entire hotel was under construction. There is a restaurant in the hotel that is closed for good but I saw no mention of this upon booking and this restaurant was one of the reasons I choose this hotel. I was very disappointed to learn this restaurant was closed. Which left me no choice then to venture out into the town to find another place to dine. Was very inconvenient. The walls were paper thin and I could hear conversations from other rooms. I could even hear a cell phone conversation between a guest and the person they were speaking to on the phone as it was on speaker phone. A lamp that was mounted on the wall next to the bed was was slanted and I touched it and it fell completely off the wall. They moved me into another room after I called about this. The new room was just as bad but without a lamp falling off the wall. The bed and pillows were awful. They were so unbelievably soft. All and all a very unpleasant experience here and I would not return and would warn others not to stay here.

Room was clean. We booked for 2 nights. They deactivated our room key for not reason. The front desk clerk said that she knew we were staying for 2 nights but she desactivates the card. Kind of weird. Pool is closed. Our bathroom was clean but it didnt have soap, shampoo or conditioner

Booked a double queen bed through Expedia. Was told when arrived this hotel does not have that kind of room. Traveling with 3 people and was given a room with one full sized bed and pull out couch. Brandon at the front desk was very apologetic and accommodating given the circumstance. There is a lot of remodeling going on. Gym was not accessible at all.

We stayed a a 2 queen bed room for 1 night. Everything liked nice a fairly new. Cons: elevator floor was very sticky. Our body wash dispenser was empty. The restaurant/bar attached to hotel is OOB/closed. Maybe it said that in description and I needed it, but I know that was one reason why I chose this hotel, and was a bit disappointed when we realized it was closed.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Frankenmuth. Close to restaurants and shopping. We are not in our room much and we always look for hotels with a good pool and hot tub to relax after being out all day. Sadly the hot tub was broken and closed (no indication in hotel description) and although we were told the pool was heated it was cold. When we checked in one of the elevators was broken, and also the AC/heat was not working in our room. Place in general seemed tired and run down, Pool area outside not cleaned from day before. One bright spot was Ashlee at reception who was very friendly and helpful at check in and fixed our AC unit right away.

This hotel no longer has a restaurant in it, there for no complimentary breakfast. This should be stated on their profile and on there website. I did go to the website and it says nothing about the restaurant being closed. Also inside pool was cold.

There isn’t a restaurant. There isn’t breakfast. Theres only one person manning the desk/front. The best feature of the hotel is the indoor/outdoor pool and the massive outdoor patio for groups and gatherings. Our softball team likes staying here in the summer for that reason. Restraints and fast food close by. Close to fields.

No up keep on this hotel. Everything is dirty. I'll never stay at this *hitbox again

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it has always been our go-to choice in the area. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel has seriously deteriorated in the last few years. While the folks we dealt with were friendly, we were initially assigned a room that wasn’t cleaned. We were given another room on a floor where construction was being done (we hadn’t seen anything telling us the hotel was being renovated) and there were areas that had bare concrete (no flooring, tile or carpet had been removed). The room itself had been cleaned, but was in very poor condition as well. Rusty mirrors, moldy(?) shower door corners, tired furniture, etc. The room also had about 1/3 roll of TP, only two towels, and no extra blankets - just a sheet and very thin comforter. There was also no ice or vending on our floor so we had to go down two flights for any amenities/snacks/ice. This hotel seems grossly understaffed; I overheard the lady at the front desk tell another customer that she had worked 19 hours the previous day because they didn’t have enough staff. I will say the beds continue to be the most comfortable in the area, although the pillows are very thin and worn. The IHOP next door is very good for breakfast, and there are many other restaurants and retail spots within 5 minutes. Hopefully this hotel returns to its previous form after renovations have been completed, but I don’t recommend it at this time.

Everything was great. Some of the nooks and cranny’s were a little dirty but it seemed like the room may have been older. It was also easy to hear everything outside the room which made it hard to sleep.

Terrible experience. Dirty. Hallway not swept no hairdryer in room. Cobwebs on headboard. Gym facility in renovation. Ice machine not working. Would never recommend.

Bathroom shower door had pink mold pubic hair from previous client stuck on shower floor (huge gross factor) Old (very old) comforter...edges were all coming apart and frayed

They don’t pickup your room every day and make beds and give you coffee or towels wash rags anymore!! Some things were dirty! I reserved a handicap room for my parents because my mom is handicapped and room was same as mine went to store and purchased items that came to$150 so she could stay in room!

The front desk was awesome—courteous and friendly. We booked a suite and the room was not as advertised. The cleanliness was subpar and the suite furniture was stained and tattered. Lamp was missing a light and didn’t work. The door did not securely latch when we left the room, you could easily push it open from the outside. They are going through renovations so some of the hotel is nice but our room was not. We discussed our concerns with the front desk and they had no problem giving us a refund and did apologize for the status of the room.

The room was not the cleanest. Sheets had a couple stains, shower was slightly dirty and the floor wasn’t not fully vacuumed. Lifted the cushion of the chair only to find candy wrappers and goldfish.

Was not aware that the property was under renovation, but room was clean. Room safe and phone did not work.

Did not know renovations were being made. Got called the day of asking if I could change my king to a queen. I in fact booked two queens as there were three of us. When I informed the person of this on the phone they seemed irritated and ended the call. The toilet in the room took at least three times to flush. The pool was nice and clean and hotel was quiet. Beds were very comfy.

My family was there for a wedding. Everything was about average. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The only negatives were that the entry door kept getting stuck when trying to enter the room. We had to ram it with our bodies to get it open. Since we were only there for a short time, we didn’t want the hassle of trying to find another room since there were other events taking place. The bathrooms were a tight space. There was barely enough room to move around.

This hotell seems pretty new. Room still had a freah newness about it. It was nice. The pool was nice. There was a strong smell of Marijuana in the halls. You could hear things in the rooms next to you. The outside door on the side by the pool was not locked even though there is Key card reader there. Also the nice thing there was no noisr after 10p.

The building needs some minor maintenance like hard to open doors, peeling furniture, shower seals that leak. Otherwise it's a good hotel. The area around it is very nice

Microwave not working. Had to move nightstand away from wall to have access to outler to plug in CPAP. Key card would not work at rear door entrance. Room was clean and comfortable.

They were overbooked but when we got there they upgraded us to a suite. The rooms were clean and nice. The pool was awesome with the indoor/outdoor feature.

The pool was closed for renovations. You could easily hear people walking in the hallways and above you. Staff was friendly and helpful

We came from a long drive to visit. Got her an hour early asked for early check in and the girl asked the front desk simply said no!! Didn’t ask for my name, didn’t say let me check not even a simple hello. We came back after the hour and same person took my ID set it on the counter and then disappeared to the back. Nothing was said and didn’t see her for a long time. A different lady took our information and checked us in. We booked 2 rooms. When we finally get to our rooms one of the rooms keys didn’t work aI we had to get back in line to activate our cards. One of the other employees said I’m not in the clock so I can’t help. Definitely this place needs better customer service. Other than that the hotel was pretty clean and comfortable

I am not sure exactly sure how it happened, but the hotel gave a random man a key and access to the room I was in. The general manager handled it very well and is the sole reason I give this place any stars. Thankfully nothing crazy happened. However it was a pretty mortifying experience. I was extremely uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay and will not be staying there again

The only issue I had was waiting to check-in, someone was training a new person so there was a line waiting because there wasn't anyone else, just one person who could check everyone in... A second employee with knowledge to check guests in while another is training a new person would've been better. The room was really nice.

This hotel was one of the most unprofessional and humiliating experiences I’ve ever had. At check-in, the staff told me they did not accept my card type — even though they clearly do. I was left embarrassed and stressed, treated as though I was the problem. To make it worse, instead of apologizing, the staff member attempted to gaslight me, later claiming she “made it work for me” when in fact the card should have been accepted from the beginning. There was no accountability, no courtesy, and no respect shown to me as a guest. A hotel stay should make you feel welcomed and secure — not traumatized, shamed, and dismissed. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel to take their business elsewhere.

I am disappointed with my recent stay at Four Points. Upon arrival, I discovered that the room I had reserved—a 2 Queen bedroom for my family of 4—was unavailable. We were not told this when we checked in and only found out when entering our room. Instead, we were given a 1 King bedroom, which was inadequate for our family of 4. When I raised the issue with the manager, she was unhelpful and rude, stating that there was nothing she could do. She offered to cancel our stay but refused to provide any discounts or compensation for the inconvenience, either for this stay or any future bookings. We were not able to get another hotel in the area, and being at a late hour with 2 kids, we needed this room we booked and stayed with the 1 bed. As a result, my family of 4 was forced to share a single King bed, leading to a terrible night's sleep and leaving us exhausted for our planned excursion the next day. This is unacceptable, especially when we had made a reservation expecting the room type we booked to be available. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of empathy, professionalism, and effort to make things right was disappointing. I will not be staying at this hotel again and cannot recommend it to others. A hotel stay should offer comfort and reliability, not frustration and poor service.

Very slow check in with a flustered front desk who seemed confused and had a hard time “getting their computer to work”

The young woman at the front desk was extremely pleasant both check-ins. Give that girl a raise. She was decorating for Christmas last time I was in and she was just a joy.

The room was clean and modern. I felt they were understaffed. Plenty of parking. In an area with convenient restaurants and close to highway. Price was good.

Very friendly staff and great location for the price. Located with an attached Pizzeria Uno next door and 10% discount for staying at the hotel. Rooms were clean and relatively updated. Pool and courtyard on site.

There's nothing wrong with the property, but if I knew there wasn't an open bar and restaurant and hasn't been for a year, I'd have booked somewhere else. They said they've been telling Expedia to update for 12 months.

It was a good price. But, towels were dirty and tub needed cleaned more. The room had not soap either. I had to call to the front desk for some. We have stayed at the same hotel but at a different location and it was cleaner. The UNO restaurant was really good that is connected to the hotel.

Clean hotel with comfy beds, fun pool, a nice little gym, and kind staff. I just wish they served breakfast and the Unos was closed :(

The room was pretty small but at least it was newly remodeled. What really irked me was that I was charged $150 extra on my card for "amenities/incidentals". What amenities? There were NO snacks, bottled water, soda or any other beverages. I realize a lot of hotels charge for this, but at least there are things in the room to charge for, and typically the charge is much less. The fee is of course refunded after several days but still it's annoying when you realize there are NO amenities. Also, no continental breakfast was a disappointment. Other competitors we've stayed at in the area offer a continental breakfast and have similar or better rooms for around the same price. I don't think I would stay here again.

The front desk staff was outstanding! No breakfast and even though you could get a discount at the attached restaurant, they weren't open until 11:00. The room, however, was a bit to be desired. The bed was comfortable enough but was creaky when rolling over. Just kind of odd... In the bathroom, the sink was cracked and the shower floor looked to be permanently stained. I'm not sure what was splashed on the walls. The hallway carpets were well past worn out.

The pictures on Expedia do not match the reality of the hotel it is under renovation so it’s a mess. The front desk staff are mediocre at best. I was charged an additional 95.00 dollars for no reason still waiting on a refund from that. The restaurants on property were closed as was the lounge.
