So disappointed as the reason we booked it was for the hot tub, only to find out it was broken when we checked in. The floor in our room was dirty. The bathroom smelled of urine and there was mold everywhere. The tub was so old we didn’t want to even shower, and we didn’t. The water stunk as well. We are not that fussy but this is a hotel we will not stay at again.

Nice to be close to shopping and dining, just didn’t utilize. Convenient location, easy to find. The shower shelves looked dirty but otherwise it looked clean. For breakfast the milk was sour, but good breakfast selection. For our one night stay to attend a graduation, the hotel served its purpose. They gave a check-in gift bag with a water and two fruit bars which was a nice touch. Nice size hot tub and pool.

Not the hotels fault, but drunk people in the hallways. Talking at all hours of the night. The shower smelled horrible (water smell) and it squealed when issuing the shower. Smoking outside of all doors (even where sign showed not to). Open door downstairs provides no security.

Really tried to like it but....., Black mold in dilapidated shower, roten blackout curtains with holes, dirty carpet, dirty walls and VERY old bed that was hard as a rock.

Stayed overnight during a long road trip. I walked into the room and was immediately hit with a strong smell of mold/mildew and the room was just very damp like a leaky basement. The carpet was very damp. The deadbolt for the door was coming apart. The tv remote also didn’t work so the tv was stuck on whatever channel it was already on and I couldn’t change it. The water tasted like mold when I brushed my teeth. I would not stay here again.

The air conditioner sound like a 1930’s 4 cylinder tractor running on only 2 cylinders, loud, heavy vibration. Turned it off after it cooled the room. Tried to open the window, but our window faced the freeway only 100 yards away, too noisy.

We reserved three rooms for two nights. One room was fine, one room smelled like mold/mildew, and one room had a nonfunctioning air conditioner. They provided a different room for the unairconditioned room and put an ozone machine in the mildew room. Things seem a little run down. I wouldn't choose this property again.

There was a problem with our reservation and the night manager was incredibly rude about having to fix it. He refused at first to even check us in and was insulting throughout the process. The rooms he gave us were not in the renovated part of the hotel. At breakfast the milk came out of the dispenser chunky. Such a bad hotel!

It was a really nice property. Breakfast was good. I was disappointed prior to arrival- we were running late. I didn't have a contact number with me to call to let them know. I tried to call- first time I called I had a very nice person tell me that he was going to text me direct number. That did not happen. So about an hour later I tried to call again to get that number and a rude man was on the phone. He did text me the number but was rude and hung up on me not allowing me to talk. Overall was a great experience except for that.

Staff was fantastic. When checking in, the computer was slow- nothing terrible. Staff apologized and upgraded our room due to the inconvenience. All of the staff was extremely helpful and breakfast was great.

I would suggest looking elsewhere if you are in the Fergus Falls area. The manager at the front desk claimed I had reserved 2 rooms when I made the reservation. When my booking company showed him that only one room was booked, he claimed the credit card used to make the reservation was declined and made me pay again. I would be careful when booking here. I certainly won't be and will be avoiding Comfort Inns in the future.

We arriived after our grandson's baseball game in Henning. There were two motels offered.....this one and the Fergus Inn. We took the Comfort Inn, thinking that it'd be better. It wasn't. I was told we needed to go to the Fergus Inn just down the street. When we arrived the girl at the desk went and got some blonde/gray haired lady who came and told me we had to go to Fergus Inn. I asked for a refund, and she said, "Well, you can come here for breakfast and use the pool." Um, no thanks, lady. When we did finally get a room at the Fergus Inn, the person checking us in said, "Oh yeah, they do this all the time. They overbook and then send them here." I asked about a refund and he said, "We are a budget motel." So we got screwed out of $100. The manager called over with his/her credit card, but didn't even have our name on a room. What a crap shoot. I WILL be writing a letter to Choice Hotels. They will NOT be my choice in the future. Heck, they didn't even have coffee in the room. Yeah, we're going to drive back to that place for some cereal.

We stayed here a week. The staff here was accessible & would take care of any request promptly. The bed was comfortable. They have a very nice breakfast. There was always 2 hot dishes at breakfast such as bacon; eggs; saugage; potato, peppers, & saugage scramble; & biscuits with sausage & gravy along with all the other breakfast fixings. The swimming pool & hot tub were nice & very clean. There are several restaurants nearby. You can easily walk to some if you wanted. We enjoyed our stay.

Very welcomed at check in & check out. Room was clean. but had an odd smell(maybe from the AC?) I did open the window to let the fresh air in. Fridge was not plugged in, but that was a simple fix. Was told there would be a "full" breakfast in the morning, but there were no eggs,meats, etc (the steam plate said "out of order"). Only other note would be if you are pulling a trailer, the lot could be tricky if hotel was full of guests. Otherwise nice room for the $.

Think twice before you book this property .. the property is outdated. Furniture & carpet in the room was soiled. Housekeeping failed to properly clean the room. Debris from the previous occupant was never cleaned up. They only provided 1 set of towels which were worn out. Breakfast was minimal .. the waffle batter disperser was broken. The $200 I paid for this experience was drastically over-priced.
