No towels available in pool area. Hot tub wasn’t working. When I asked staff at front desk about the hot tub, he said it was working earlier…. That was not helpful. Clearly there was smoking going on in the hotel.

It looked like they were in the middle of renovating a few areas. Only one door to the pool worked and you couldn’t get back on through any of the exterior doors except the main one.

Outside doors(closer to rooms) , did not work with the keys. All weekend! Always had to park and carry stuff thru the lobby. NOT easy or Convenient.

It wasn't the greatest. The pool was closed because someone put glass in it. So nobody is monitoring guests. My son was crushed the whole time we couldn't use it. The room wasnt the cleanest and the door alarm was really annoying. Also, we didn't get our second free breakfast because they never told us there were different breakfast times for the weekday. So when we walked down at 9:30 it was already closed. The pool and free breakfast is number one on our list of hotel amenities.

We were there for 5 nights had to get rekeyed 4 times. Keys wouldn’t work on any entry door had tome in through the main door no matter where your room was or where you had to park. Pool was DISGUSTING.

I love this hotel. It’s currently priced very affordable. I hope it stays that way. They continue to upgrade a lot of things and in its current state it is nice and clean. My kids absolutely love the pool and request this hotel every time we need to be in the St Paul area, it’s about a 10-15 minute drive. It is also close to the Bloomington area. The hot tub is awesome, the gym has cardio machines. Very clean rooms. Attached to a Green Mill restaurant. The hotel serves breakfast (hot and cold) and like I said it’s currently an affordable stay.

This place was dirty. Stained yellow sheets. Dirty bathroom. Windows didn’t lock. Curtain rods falling out of the wall. Big holes in the carpet that looked like they’d been bleached as something was terribly stained there. Do not at all recommend this. There are far better options in the area for the same price or a few dollars more.

The staff was very friendly, and willing to address our issues. The first room we were assigned was incredibly musty smelling, with floors that seemed a bit damp. They attempted to cover it up with an air freshener but that just made it worse. No linens were provided for sleeper sofa, and shampoo and conditioner in showers were empty. (They were the containers that were attached to the wall). After we complained they did move us Our second room was somewhat better, and seemed fairly clean. The hallways, however, seemed dirty and dingy. The pool area was good; we spent many hours in there. The breakfast was not very good; subpar hot food, and bread/bagels/etc that were just so-so. Would not stay there again, but it fit the bill for the few nights we were there.

The photos were NOT an accurate representation of the hotel. Right when we walked in we noticed gross walls and front desk was just a disaster. Staff was ehh. Very unenthused. The halls smelled sooo much of cigarettes and weed. Garbage was everywhere. Half the doors didn’t work with the key cards. The room was gross. It smelled so bad we had to buy air freshener and leave the screen door open to air it out. Outside patio was overgrown with huge weeds and very uninviting. Stains all over the walls, stained tub. The patio door didn’t lock. The curtains were full of holes and stains. Overall it was GROSS!!! I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

The bed was clean but the pillows were like pancakes. The bathroom was gross, the shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, there was a hair clump hanging off of the shower faucet handle. The toilet barely flushed/didn’t flush easily. One hand towel looked like it had something on it. The rooms were pretty dated which was fine. It was raining and it sounded like there was a waterfall behind us when we were in bed, not sure where the water was running because we weren’t in an end room. Overall it was fine for one night but for the price, I’d probably look elsewhere. Breakfast was good and there is a Greenmill attached which was a nice surprise when we arrived later in the evening. We didn’t make it into the pool area but that looked ok and people were using it. Workout space looked alright. The hotel is a weird shape so we were lost trying to find our room at first, realized we had to go down the other wing to get to our room. Had random people trying to help direct us!

Sheets had blood on them, balcony was covered in bird feces…. wasn’t offered new blankets or sheets when I called to let them know about the blood and then had to change the bed myself

The door to the outside jammed, the entrance is very dated. We didnt need ine, but I don't think there's an elevator anywhere, so of you're differently-abled, you'llneed a 1st floor room. The rooms have been flipped, but not truly updated. It's a big property, but just kind of run-down looking. You get what you pay for.

The decor of the room was very nice and modern. The bed was hard. Due to recent renovations, the toilet was not yet working. A request at the front desk solved this. The first morning, we noticed there was no shower curtain. It took two requests to get this by evening at 9:30. The key cards were only keyed for the first night. Again this took a trip to the front desk. The front desk is also about as far away as one can get from the room we were in.

Doors would not lock. Hvac not cycle properly and noisy from normal. Shower bracket broken. Shower valve not shut off leaking. Staff said will advise maintenance and that not happened. Had to change rooms to get a room that could be locked securely with dead bolt. This place at end of live and should be demolished and start over.

I rarely if ever do reviews but since they are what I mostly rely on when picking a hotel thought I would help future travelers. For the price it was what you pay for at this price point, that being said you get what you pay for. I picked this hotel based on its ease and proximity to the Xcel, the price and pool photos/reviews. It's an older hotel, they are attempting to do some renovations and updating. It appears they updated shower fixtures in our room but they were loosely fitted and to get to turn on had to nearly beat it out of off position which found out to be because it doesn't stop dripping unless you beat it into off position. While on the shower topic don't expect a hot one at 730 in the morning or maybe the rest of the day too. Maybe it was because it was busy I'm guessing full hotel due to state wrestling but a barely luke warm shower is not a pleasant experience in the morning. To get into our room we had to play a game with the handle and door to get in as it wasn't fitted or sealing right. The pool was nice. Hot tub hot but poor jets. Nice breakfast area and options in the morning. And the adjoining restaurant was a nice option with good food. If you stay just don't expect a 4-5 star stay. I would spend the extra $50 a night elsewhere especially if staying multiple nights.

Stayed here for one night for a wedding. Was told the day before that I would be able to check in early for $30. When I showed up the next day, kept getting told the room was not ready. Was only able to get in the room an hour earlier. Room was dated, dusty, poor lighting, and just not a place where I would want to be for more than sleeping. At the end of the day, it was a place to rest my head for one night— probably would not book again.

Overall it was okay. The bathtub faucet was really loose in the wall and didn’t work very well. When I left the room and came back, both of my room keys did not work and I had to go all the way to the front desk from the back of the hotel to resolve this as the staff in the hall was “unable to help” The room didn’t block noise from outside in the hall very well and I heard a lot of kids running and yelling in the hallway.

Hotel staff and parking was nice but on the 2nd floor our toilet kept clogging and we had to call the hotel staff to get the maintenance to unclog it . Plus the internet WiFi sucks on the 2nd floor room 210 . It’s a dead zone and could not connect at all until you go downstairs . Once you go back in the room the WiFi is disconnected and once they reset the router it’s still unsuccessful. These are the two main issues and my advice is get a room on the first floor .

We were woken up at midnight by someone trying to use a keycard at our door, unannounced. The person opened the door with their keycard, and it turned out to be a member of the staff who claimed there was an emergency with all the keycards and that they needed to hand out new ones. The situation was very peculiar, and the staff member's demeanor was quite off-putting. This could have been a simple mistake, but it made us very uneasy, especially since none of the doors were locked, and one was even missing the electric strike completely. Typically, country inns are very nice places to stay, but this experience left me feeling uneasy, and I will not be returning.

We got a King Suite. All 3 doors on the side of the building we were on DID NOT respond to our key card and our room was the last door on the whole floor. 1) At about 10pm, someone SUCCESSFULLY OPENED OUR DOOR with another key. We had the security latch on so they couldn't get in but they unlocked our door. We were frightened enough to not find out what was going on. But we did peek out and there was someone unlocking doors down the hallway and doors beeped for a a bit the next hour. 2) The next morning, our keys DID NOT WORK!!!!! When It was brought to attention of staff, the kid at the desk said "Sorry, but you gotta email the general manager." That was it. Others in front of us were dealing with same situation but were far more patient than I. Apparently, the hotel "reset" its system and most of the keys given didnt work. This was Labor Day weekend. The hotel was FULL!!!! Talk about ridiculous!! I did email person but no response yet.

Front desk never gave back my ID. Never delivered to our room. Never even called our room to tell us they had it. Drove 200 miles until I realized they still had it. Super sketchy on getting it back. They won’t provide me with manager names. Called the police department. They told the police it’s been taken care of and mailed. Completely different story than what was told to me! Was hung up on! Been staying here for years but today drew the line. Never again. Place is going to heck.

the check in took forever, there were 6 people waiting to check in and one person working. some of their rooms weren't ready by the 3 oclock check in. the receptionist said the hotel was full so wouldn't you think they would have another receptionist working or at least someone that could be called the was working to come up and help out with the process.

The front desk woman that checked us in said very little, was not informative and nor was she friendly. We had to call down several times for clean towels. The last night of our stay, I had to call down to the front desk several times after 11pm as the room next door was excessively loud playing music, yelling and slamming doors until at least 1:30 am.

The hotel itself was reasonably good, but I made a mistake and set my checkout date one day too early. It was almost impossible to call the front desk, but I finally got through, and the person I spoke to said it was corrected. When my wife got back, she verified that it was all good. It wasn't all good, and the staff's lack of adequate help once the room turned into a pumpkin was very disappointing. We ended up finding a different hotel, which was much better, so now we know we don't need this one again.

I was not informed about breakfast or wifi on check in. When we went to use our keys to enter at the door they said was closest to our room the keys did not work. The heat was off when we got to our room so the room was very cold. After calling the desk they notified maintenance and about 10-15 minutes later it came on. The breakfast was pretty good and the woman working the breakfast area was friendly and worked hard to ensure every item was available and the area was clean. There is a Green Mill attached to the hotel and a Caribou Coffee next door. The hotel was not too far a drive (10 minutes approx.) from the Xcel Center or an area with numerous chain restaurants.

Stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and keep coming back to it. Wish there was more plug in’s in rooms. Looks like some were taken out in each room and covered with flat plates. Enough for 2 people but would struggle for plug ins with a family of 4. Breakfast is great with lots of options and lots of seating. Never used pool but looks well maintained from hallway. Had issues with lack of hot water in 1 room, but fine during other stays. Easy on and off from I-94 for travelers like myself.

A nice hotel but breakfast wasn’t very good. There was some kind of dirty streaks on our walls in multiple different areas. The ceiling with the planks had some cracks which looked concerning. It was nice that the pool and hot tub were open until midnight! Staff was very nice and the Green Mill restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious so definitely order some food from there when you stay! The carts to haul luggage to your rooms were broken.

It’s a very family friendly place with an excellent pool for all ages. All of the staff were friendly and tried to help but they didn’t have information about how the card keys could be rekeyed, lack of replacement of towels, how to get in touch with the manager to complement a staff worker, etc. It was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay and may come again. it’s not a 4 star ⭐️ hotel but was a good venue for families. The breakfast provided was very good.

The breakfast was a good selection. Cookies in lobby a hit. Coffee good. Someone near us was playing loud music in the evening. On Tuesday night the person next door opened the adjoining door and poked there in. They were not known to us. Creepy. Location was convenient . Price was right .
