Days Inn by Wyndham St Peters/St Charles

Wanted to use fitness center it closes at 10 and it's under renovation. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. At breakfast the juice machine was out of order also. Beds were ok except for the burn mark on the bedspread. The room was nonsmoking. Go figure.

Hotel is definitely older and there are stains and wear and tear on furniture etc., however beds/sheets and towels were clean and room was decently clean. Staff were courteous. Breakfast as advertised, continental, do have waffle maker. Would stay again, especially for price. Does not have elevator but not a problem for us (only 2 floors).

No elevator, only 2 floors. This was an issue carrying up bags and a cooler. We had a toddler and it was inconvenient. Nothing stated in the listing. Probably would have not stayed for that reason. Staff was polite, very good breakfast options. The room was a bit dirty. The bathroom had a broken tile on the floor. We all stubbed our toes on it. The bathtub was dirty and mold on the shower walls. The toilet wasnt cleaned.

(To include toenails beside the bed) While they were vacuuming they asked if we wanted clean sheets giving the impression that they had not been previously changed. Once the room was clean it was fine. Quiet area. No elevators to the second floor. WiFi didn’t not reach the room, it only worked in the lobby. Breakfast was cereal, toast, or coffee. Didn’t see a pool or signage to the pool as advertised but didn’t go to the back.

No elevator to second floor, carpets filthy, door lock on the room across the hall beeping the entire stay, and an extremely loud couple having rowdy sex for 3 hours in the room next door on our last night. Will not go back.

The number one reason I booked this motel was the treadmills available. They were broken. The place was clean and service good. We were in room 111. It sounded like they were having a boxing tournament above us. We got in around 8:30 and this sound above us went on for hours.

Using Hotels.com, I found this Days Inn property on my trip to the St Peters area. It is actually the closest motel to my old house. The nightly rates are also much lower than other motels in the area that I have used on previous trips I made since moving away 36 years ago. When i arrived, my reservation wasn't in their system but the desk clerk took my word for it and matched the rate I was quoted onlinefor my stay. My room was clean and provided all my needs during my stay. The employees I encountered during my stay were helpful and pleasant. My room was on the first floor which was good as there is no elevator to the second floor. The lobby had some scaffolding up as workmen were doing eithet upgrades or repairs around the property. The repairs did not bother me. The breakfast was basic fare you could microwave or just eat from the package. Coffee was good. I usually get to this area several times a year and i will stay here again on future trips if they have rooms available. It saved me money from the other properties in the area i have stayed at. In fact the rates were about half what I have spent in the past per night.

Pool advertised, manager said, "We have never had a pool". Fitness room unavailable, "not maintained". Aggressive housekeeper who insisted on checking my room after I told her I didn\'t need anything. Furniture worn, cigarette burn on blanket in "non-smoking facility", spots on carpet and mirror. I think I should get a reduced rate.

There was no elevator to start with so if your handicapped you will be limited to 1st floor. The parking was well lit. The room itself had issues. The bathroom had loose floor tiles. One side of the bed had a bad squeek. The hall carpet was stained. We got what we paid for, but I wouldn't stay there again.

When we first walked in there was a (skunk) smell. No elevator had to climb stairs wasnt a problem for me but had my 80 year old mother that has problems with stairs. Got to our room there was a cigarette burn on our bed spread, and its a no smoking building (hmm). Talked to them at the desk about it cause i didnt want to be accused of it, was told o know worries some of our guest he didnt finish talking to me and went to another person that needed something. Floors were dirty especially the bathroom. Very thin walls heard everything from the room next door.

I woke up to cockroaches in the bathroom tub and the walls of the bedroom. The tiles in the bathroom were loose with no grout in between with the cockroaches coming up between the tile.

The room was warm and there was a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom. The toilet was dirty inside and out, the bathroom tile floor was broken and dirty. The whole place smelled like cigarettes.

There were bugs on the ceiling and walls, holes in sheets. This is not a place to stay.

Filthy! Some lash extensions and hair in the bed, the room stinks, pee stains on the sheets, dirt, hair, and mold in the bathroom, it smells like pee, vomit, and beer. Just don’t stay here.

Property was unclean and full of mold.

This hotel was extremely filthy and bug infested. They did give us a 2nd room claiming there would not be bugs in the 2nd room, but in a hotel - if there's bugs in one there's bugs in all. HEAVY musty smell, burned out lightbulbs, curtains did not hang correctly, no stoppers in the sinks, mold on the grout in the bathroom, carpet was not clean, bedspreads had cigarette burn holes. Several health code violations, I don't know how this place is open.

The room was smelly and unclean. Had to clean it with what i could just to stand it. The whole place was in deplorable condition. The other guest you could tell were up to no good, loud, and careless about others staying there. Then after waking up in the morning to find nothing left for breakfast and itching. Then later find that i have tiny red itchy dots all over my back and legs. Bug bites and what appears to be bed bugs now in my suitcase and belongings. Horrible and flithy place to stay. Currently waiting on a refund for what i paid. Now i cant even upload the photos i taken while there. Figures!

So dirty and furniture falling apart

Room was in rough shape, needed painting. Shower had black mold in the caulking. Complimentary breakfast was a joke.

People coming and going slamming their doors until midnight. This is my second time staying there, same thing the first time. I have family close by there, so this is convenient, but I will Not come back here.

Needs updating

Nice enough for an overnight on the road. Room was clean and warm. Room decor/ could use some updating if you care about aesthetic. No hot option for breakfast.

The place was fine, but old and needing some care.

Very noisy at night

Room had a noticeable odor upon entering (damp, mold?). TV channels VERY limited

Definitely more of a $60/night kind of place. We spent $125 for a Saturday night. We felt overcharged. Place is old and beat up.

We chose 130 Salt Lick Road, St. Peters, Missourri because of it's location close to Hollywood Casino's Amphitheatre. The room was not clean when we arrived at 3 pm, designated check in time. I even checked in on line and they were still surprised that we were there at 3 pm. The toilet seat was broken on one of the two attachments to the bowl. We only had shampoo and no cream rinse. We did have lotion. 2 of the 3 he Coffee decanters were empty and unmarked as decaf or caf and the decanter we used left tons of coffee grounds in our cups. There wasn't anyone available to make more coffee or to talk to. This was @ 9 am and breakfast was closed at 9:30. Very bad stay, not good at all. So disappointed in Wyndham. I honestly would like a refund of my stay if at all possible.

The clerk changed our reservation to the 1st floor because my husband is disabled and can't carry the luggage up the stairs. We're very appreciative of that.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly, its nice coming "home" to a friendly smile and a happy hello.

We would stay here again,because it was quiet and the staff was friendly.

When I forgot my toothpaste, the older gentleman at the desk went back to his own room to get me a big tube of toothpaste! Said I could give it back when I was done. I bought him a new one and when I gave it to him, he has found two small sample toothpastes for me. So kind.....

Was VERY dirty and run down, staff was Rude, i asked for no housekeeping and they told me i HAD to have daily housekeeping, it was an argument to get them to leave my room alone, chairs were dirty, vents dirty, holes in the wall, shower head disgusting... overall completely uninpressed

Staff was extremely rude. The vending machine charged me $20 and didn’t work. They laughed and said “not our machine…call the number”… then laughed when I said that it is bad business. The clerk then offered to call the number to which I said “yes”… he then (no kidding) said he was “too busy to call” … he was “working”. besides that, the toilet seat wasn’t bolted down in my bathroom and the room was filthy. Go anywhere else!

Roaches, yelling angry unprofessional staff Threatening me because I wrote a message about roaches. Yelled at me that I couldn’t drink orange juice. Yelled at me that I couldn’t sit in the chair & drink my coffee. Just horrible. I am 65 years old. I have stayed at many hotels but None as gross as this.

Floors had water damage, smelled, mold, dirty grime feel. Didn’t feel safe in the area. Random weird people around property

Nice hotel in a safe area. Normally do not stay at days inn, but this one was actually decent pricing and good area. Did not feel unsafe.

This particular location is easy to miss since it's tucked behind a popular Mexican restaurant; one wrong turn and you're in the parking lot of a golf club. We only stayed one night to recharge in the middle of a long road trip, but were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the room. There was not much furniture, leaving the room a bit sparse, but it also gave it an added level of comfort that way. Bed was extremely comfortable (though I'd have preferred an extra pillow or two - not a deal-breaker). Continental breakfast was sparse, but we did arrive near the tail end of it. This still feels like a property in transition, but it does seem like the changes they have made are for the better. Would be interested to see how they look in another 12 to 18 months, and would gladly stay here again.

Good experience. Hotel could use some updates and repairs. Food selection was lacking for breakfast. But hotel was really close to a great Mexican restaurant. Hotel staff friendly.

The chairs had massive stains on them and were filthy. Even though breakfast was from6-9:30, by 8 when I got there most everything was gone.

No frills hotel. Good location but not well lite at night. Mini muffins, granola bars and cereal were available at the breakfast. Beds were comfy and it was a quick stay.

Clean and comfortable for the price. No complaints. Breakfast was already pretty picked over by 7:30, not sure if it was replenished after.

Dated decor and amenities. Free breakfast until 930 am was non existent after 730 am.
