Yes, it was near the entrance to Yellowstone. The staff was very friendly. The fitness room was great. The lobby was decorated so nicely! The breakfast choices could’ve been better like offering eggs & more fruit options. Otherwise, it was good. The coffee was fabulous! Overall, we really enjoyed staying at the Stagecoach Inn for 5 nights!

In the winter time it was nice to have the underground parking out of the elements. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had to leave a day early and pleased to find out it was a simple process to check out early. The only negative that wasn't a big deal was the floor squeaked a little bit. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and would go again.

This is an old Inn which was the first “upscale hotel” in West Yellowstone, circa 1940. Has lots to recommend it—the lobby area—which must’ve been recently refurbished—with fireplace, balcony staircase and massive taxidermy animals is impressive, and a very nice place to sit with a beer or carry out meal. (We did both.) There is also a nice small gym and an indoor pool, which we didn’t use. Our room left something to be desired—very clean, but only two small scatter rugs on the floor, tacky formica desk and dresser and a bed platform that was made out of some sort of thin metal that was very noisy. The heat/AC unit was on all the time, or not at all—thermostat seemed to be malfunctioning. Bathroom tiny and fan was on all the time, even when light was shut off, so they “fixed” it to not run. Breakfast was meh—same as all the other middle-priced places that offer breakfast. All in all, the charming lobby and the convenience to the west Yellowstone park entrance made it well worth the stay, even with the mediocre room.

Overall, we had a good stay here. The point of our trip was to visit Yellowstone, and this hotel (and the town) is within minutes outside of the West entrance of the park. The hotel is also within walking distance of many shops and restaurants (though you could probably walk anywhere within the town of West Yellowstone). It’s an older building but has charm and was clean overall. Has a cozy lobby with fireplace and board games. Continental breakfast was decent with all of the typical offerings. Lots of street parking available and even has a small parking garage that’s free with your stay. My only complaint is that our room was pretty warm, even with the AC set to 60 degrees, and the AC unit was very noisy.

For the price, its all about location. Its really just a best western style stay. A bit worn..No restaurant or bar on property. Breakfast . Typical.closed at 9am. Nothing special here except location next to West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

Disappointing that the room wasn't very clean and in need of a major renovation. Lots of marks on the walls and the carpet should have been replaced years ago. No exhaust vent in the bathroom. Breakfast was all carbs other than some hard boiled eggs. For $302.28 i guess i expected a higher standard.

This hotel is conveniently located with walking distances to the restaurants and shopping. Friendly staff. Negative: Hotel is old and required a major updates. When we are first check in our room bathroom was not clean. After my physical complain to the front desk manager, house keeping person came in and clean our bathroom.

Hotel lobby is impressive upon entering. Room was small and very dirty. Mold in shower on walls and around tub and drain. Bathroom sink around the drain also moldy. Bedroom and bathroom floors were dusty and dirty. Dust was thick on baseboards. Linens were clean and changed out each day. There were no towel bars, very inconvenient.

I appreciated the hotel's stylish lobby and its convenient location. Good wifi. Unfortunately, the breakfast had a limited variety of options; for example, they didn't offer scrambled eggs/omelette and protein/links/sausages. The main course was boiled eggs and cereal. At some point, I even stopped eating breakfast at the hotel. Unlike the mentioned lobby, the room was, to put it mildly, not modern and lacked good ventilation. But overall, the hotel was a decent value for the money.

Historic hotel. Beautiful old Building. Tiny bathroom in standard room. Fireplace in foyer on even at 80 deg outside. Too hot to enjoy foyer. Good breakfast. No half and half just flavored substitute. Front door squeaks constantly and our room was directly above it. Ac unit drowned it out. If you are a mind reader you will have no problem operating the TV remote.

My wife, my daughter, my son in law and I stayed in late June of 2024. We loved the convenient location, the lobby decor (fireplace with great seating and board games), and the super easy parking out front and in the underground garage. The rooms were small, but nicely redone. We did not have hot water, however. When I called the front desk to ask, they said they had old cast iron pipes and to run the water awhile to allow it to heat up. After running the water for about 30 minutes, still no better. Upon checking out to head to the park, I again told the front desk and was assured they were working on the problem. I was a bit surprised that the management was not offering any kind of apology or recompense for the major inconvenience of not being able to take a hot bath or shower during our stay. From reading other reviews, it seems like it may be an ongoing issue. Hot water aside, the hotel is in a great location and is a good place to stay when visiting Yellowstone NP!

I had a serious problem with room keeping, the first day I came back from the park and my room door was open and the deadbolt was left out so the door could never be closed, I reported it at the front desk but I don’t think they believed me. The next day I left again, and I checked the door and it was locked. I returned at the end of the day and my door appeared to be shut, I pushed on the door and it opened right up, no key needed. Didn’t get shampoo and soap one day, bath mat and tub non slip mat removed and not replaced for two days. Reported all this to the front desk and they said they would report it, but nothing was done to make me feel good.

This was a nice property. My major complaint, and it is a big one, is that we were a group of 10, renting 5 rooms for 3 nights. One evening we ordered pizza and stayed in the lobby for games and dinner. We were the only ones there and some of us wanted to watch the hockey game. When I asked to change the channel I was told “NO”. I was told, According to management, the TV in the lobby must always be on FOX News Entertainment. I asked to speak to management, asking for a phone number to call and was not given any information. The tv stayed on Fox News Entertainment. I will not stay at this establishment again due to this! What happened to freedom to watch what everyone wants on a television, especially when paying to stay somewhere? I will NOT be told what I must watch on TV!!!!

The staff were not friendly, and there was no communication at all between the day and night shifts. The location is excellent, but for the price, I didn’t feel that the service was good value. The breakfast quality was also very poor compared to the room rate. If you only care about the location, this hotel could be a decent option, but beyond that, don’t expect too much.

The facility is old but still quite solid. The staff were also very nice and helpful. Food is the only area I found somewhat lacking: there's no hot breakfast, such as scrambled eggs, bacon/sausages, or potatoes, but only cold (refrigerated) ones, plus the option of bread toasting or waffle making on your own.

This is a great historic property. It is older, so some things aren't perfect, like doors that aren't plumb, but it's clean and has fun decor. Breakfast was quite nice - nothing beyond the ordinary, but done well.

This hotel was very kitschy. Hasn’t been renovated in probably 25 yrs. Was clean and beds were comfortable which is very important! We were disappointed in the breakfast. No protein was included and was all pastry and flour based foods that are sugary and horrible for diabetics and healthy contentious (my husband and myself) people. Cost was very high due to demand so we expected a high quality breakfast. I still recommend it but just be aware.

Beautiful property but should update their website to show no restaurant or lounge bar on property a minimum offer for breakfast but no eggs or meat other than boiled eggs , I would stay again it is a beautiful property and staff was great !
