I always stay at this hotel when I come to Hickory. I’ve spent hundreds of nights here. Good breakfast. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Nice showers. Spacious rooms. Good WiFi. Free cookies in the afternoons. Easy check in/out. Coffee ready when I want it. Great stay.

We rarely leave reviews on our stays, but this hotel was a fantastic experience. Great location, very clean, and friendly staff. The hotel’s layout is a bit quirky, but once you get to the room you forget all about it. The bed was comfortable and the parking was convenient.

Great experience at this hotel. Easy check in with very friendly staff. Cold water dispenser and cookies available in lobby. Very clean and comfortable room. This was the 5th day in a different hotel and this was the best so far.

Great hotel, best in Hickory. Not perfect this time: didn’t clean my room on one day. They just forgot. Breakfast needs to start 30 minutes earlier. Too many people have to go without getting the good food. Jelly now dispensed from large squeeze bottles: GROSS! It sits out all day every day. Touched by everyone. Yuk. Coffee machines are nice but much less convenient.

We chose to stay here because Holladay Inn is always consistent. The rooms are large which we needed having 2 young kids. The beds were comfortable. The condition of the room was great. Saw housekeeping and asked us if we needed anything extra. The continental breakfast was the seller lets be honest, especially with kids. Liked all the breakfast options daily. The coffee was great! I know that can be a big thing in the mornings. The staff at the desk and for the continental were very helpful and friendly. I honestly cant say anything negative about this visit!! They said the sister property would let us use the indoor pool if we wanted.

My room was clean, well decorated and roomy. The staff was professional and courteous. The common areas was well maintained. Breakfast was from 6 - 10 am. Each today a different menu to choose from. The first day they had cheese or herbal omelets, sausages, biscuits and gray, grits, oatmeal, coffee, orange juice, mango juice, bananas, apples, oranges and a choice of four different cold cereals and I'm sure I missed some things. The have a nice clean gym, laundromat and computer office. All in perfect cleanliness and working condition. I'm positive I've missed a few things.

Slept better there than in some of the pricier places we’ve booked this week. Reported that the coffee maker didn’t work, but the breakfast downstairs more than made up for it. The building design seems cramped and the elevator is small.

I woke up with a bed bug crawling on my arm. When asked for a refund they said I should have captured it to prove it. I took a picture that was time stamped but still not heard back. Ridiculous to pay this kind of money and end up sleeping in my car and had to throw all of my luggage and belongings away in fear of bringing them home.

Last time I visited Hickory I stayed at the Hilton and this time I stayed at the holiday inn. I will always stay at Holiday inn going forward. We had the best stay! Convenient to all locations, easy check in and out, breakfast was free and very good. Room was way larger than the Hilton one we had. Very clean. Overall a great experience!

Traveling through. The room was extremely large but it’s an old property with old furniture. Funny how it is right beside the Hickory furniture Market. Overall the stay was ok. Bed was lumpy. Bathroom outdated but the shower really had power.

This hotel is the best one we've used in Hickory. The rooms open inside, so it feels secure. The property is in excellent condition and clean. The location is convenient for access to the interstate as well as for food/shopping options. Wi-Fi worked well and the room was clean and comfortable.

Overall the stay wasn’t bad. Check in was confusing as we were charged more than stated when we booked. When we asked the front desk one lady was very loud and dismissive about our concerns. After driving 12 hours, I was not in the mood to hear her excuses. The pullout bed was extremely uncomfortable. Wouldn’t even recommend it for kids. Not enough towels and washcloths. Was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. But I will say the price was a bit much for an area where there isn’t much to do.

The staff were very helpful. After one night my spouse was not happy with the room we were in and the staff moved us into another room the following day. They were very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with.

Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. I checked in fifteen minutes early and was charged 20 extra dollars. If I had known that I would have sat in the lobby. Other than that, it was a very good experience.

guy working the front desk was a bit of a prick. i asked him what time the checkout hours were and he actually pointed at the sign on the wall like it was my fault for not reading everything around me. doors slam heavy here....was woken up several times until around 12am with doors slamming heavily.

Last time I visited Hickory I stayed at the Hilton and this time I stayed at the holiday inn. I will always stay at Holiday inn going forward. We had the best stay! Convenient to all locations, easy check in and out, breakfast was free and very good. Room was way larger than the Hilton one we had. Very clean. Overall a great experience!
