Wasn't informed it was under renovation. gave a room on 4th floor with elevator out of order. the renovation was noisy, equipment took up most of parking spaces, dirty and yet there was no room discount provided. Felt stuck in muck. actually going to let Hilton know this user is not satisfied.

We arrived on the day of check in and were promptly greeted by a friendly teammate. Check in was fast and efficient. We arrived on our floor to renovations. No problem. Our room was great. We just had a lot of traffic on our floor from all the workers. Also, one elevator was not working so that slowed things down. Then, when we were leaving the hotel at 5:25 for a 6 pm dinner reservation, we were told they needed us to leave and go to another hotel. We managed to make our dinner reservation but didn't get checked into the new hotel until after 8 pm. After a full day of travel, that was quite inconvenient. I would check this summer to be sure the renovations are completely done before attempting to stay.

The Hotel needs to be completely renovated. During my stay the pool wasn’t usable. I was told the debris sweeper was broken. Don’t open your pool if it’s not ready. The breakfast options were good and the 24 hour coffee great. If front staff ask you about daily guest services and the option is to have your room cleaned daily then is should be honored if you don’t want to honor the request then don’t ask your guest..

Expedia should have told us the renovation project was under way…we would NOT have booked this reservation! The only working elevator was being used by construction and the second elevator was broken. We had to wait 15 minutes to get to our room. The lavatory sink was clogged and would not drain and was leaking onto the floor. The AC unit cycled very loudly every 20 minutes all night long preventing us from getting any sleep! The unit only bright spot was the nice, courteous sympathetic staff.

Unfortunately our room was so moldy and musty it was hard to sleep. The room did not come with sheets for the pull out sofa but the front desk provided us with linens. The tub was slimy, the toilet area was not clean. Not what we would expect from a Hampton Inn.

Have been to this location before. Recommended it for this trip with family. Was a little disappointed this time. We were on the 3rd floor and it had a very strong mildew smell on the floor and in the rooms. I booked 3 rooms for family members so I was a little upset because I recommended the hotel and it was not up to par. Besides the smell, service was great and the front desk folks were very courteous.

Toilet was running all night, we had to change rooms for the second night. That took several hours off our day :( We were promised HH compensation, yet received nothing. Room was stuffy and smelled musty. Beds were comfy, bathroom needs updating. Breakfast just average. Staff was very nice.

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, but I was disgusted with my room. The entire property had an unpleasant smell, but my room smelled especially dank, like a wet dog. The bathtub had dubious stains, making me question whether they were old stains, or whether the tub had not been scrubbed before my arrival. I took a washcloth and soap and scrubbed it myself. The hand soap pump had someone’s hair strewn across it. I would never stay here again.

Front desk seemed nicer than the actual room. Carpet in room was sticky and the bath tub didn’t drain properly. The staff on duty when we arrived was very nice, but didn’t take note of the booking with pet for the room and when they saw our dog the next day they were a bit rude about it and asked why we hadn’t told them about the dog needed to pay a pet fee and usually they needed to now because they place pets in certain floors of the hotel. We felt as if we were being accused of trying to not pay for a pet fee.

The location and availability of a room met my needs. But this hotel needs an upgrade – the toilet was very low and I am short, I don’t usually have that problem. The tub was so narrow, the beveled edges affected my balance. The carpet was, hard, dark brown, and felt damp. The whole room felt cold and damp. There were no USB ports. Service was prompt and the breakfast was good.

Everything is fine except the rooms are noisy starting around 0500 because the hotel is right next to a highway with a lot of truck traffic. Noise mitigation measures were either not included in construction or are inadequate. For this reason we would not stat there again.

Check in was long. Room size was good. Carpeted floor wet, outdated. Beds are not comfortable. A/C was great and we were very thankful for it. Good room location on 1st floor, near the ice machine and snacks. Pool was nice size and depth, but skimmer was apparently not working as it was full of flowers, leaves and other debris. Shower shampoo and conditioner was out. Nice size and brightness I'm the bathroom. Fine for 1 night, but not great.

I stayed here for one night to explore the local history in New Bern. My room directly faced the highway and I could hear some of the cars driving by. The complimentary breakfast was good and I liked the extended hours until 10 AM. Convenient location to all major local roads and plenty of parking.

We were downgraded from a King Study to a double with no notice. Hotel staff were not present and available when it came time to check out, we were kept waiting for 15-20 minutes. I will not be staying at this location again
