Friendly staff, clean hotel, big room, nice pool, great hot tub, good gym, very good breakfast. The free breakfast was choice of yogurt, fruit, bakery items like rolls, English muffins, biscuits, they had make your own waffle machine,gravy, sausage, omelette with cheese, har boiled egg, cereal,and I'm sure I'm missing something but it was amazing. We also chose a late stay instead of checking out at 11 am we asked for a late check out til 1pm for only $25 more. I would definitely stay there again.

A nice enough place, we have stayed here several times and usually quiet. Seems to always have a lot of workmen staying here and sometimes they are barbecuing in the parking lot and drinking beer- they take up several of the better parking spots for their activities. The parking lot is really bumpy and uneven. All in all a good place to stay

We checked in on Saturday afternoon and when we checked in, we were told the pool and hot tub hours. We returned to the hotel that night and wanted to relax in the hot tub as it was 11pm and had been a long day. Hot tub is open until midnight for adults. The hot ton was COLD! We went to tell the front desk and the employee was VERY rude. He looked at us like we were stupid and told us it hadn’t been working all day. I told him when we checked in that afternoon, we were specifically told the hours for the hot tub and no mention whatsoever that it wasn’t working. Made it sound like it was our fault for not knowing. No apology, no information if it would be fixed my the morning, no offer for a discount or partial (or whole) refund on room. Super rude! How hard would it be to put up a sign at the front desk or on the door to the pool to notify guests? There also was a loud “knocking” noise in the wall all night long. No idea what that was but very annoying.

New owners took over hotel the day we arrived and previous owner clearly stopped taking care of hotel long before giving up possession. Room was ok except from hair all over shower/walls. Hot tub was closed due to water chemical levels being off. Pool should have been closed, stuff floating all over surface of water. I complained to staff about this and the next day the water issues were resolved. We were also upgraded to a suite the following day. Staff was very accommodating, new owners were polite and professional. Front desk worker Candace went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Good location close to everything. Price was reasonable for the quality of hotel.

The bed sheets under the duvet was dirty. Our kids found opened, empty small plastic bottle of liquor near the side of the bed. Disgusting as it was our youngest that found it and she'll still in the putting things in her mouth era. The beddings triggered my dust allergy, another indication that it wasn't cleaned or changed often. The vent in the washroom was also super dirty and dusty.

The bathroom toilet was not clean. The tile baseboards looked dusty, like it hadn’t been cleaned. The toilet seat looked dirty, but the upon further inspection was peeling. I checked the beds and the bedding looked clean. It was late when we arrived after moving our daughter into her college housing. I complained on the messaging platform and talked to staff at check out about the dirty bathroom. They told me someone would get back to me. No one did. I prepaid for the room so no price adjustment was given.

After reading reviews I was happy to book here as most were positive. Upon check in, we entered the room and found the carpet extremely dirty. Food and other stains all over most areas. To the point we would not take our shoes off. The pull out sofa’s were suede material and had multiple white stains on them. Fake eyelashes found on the desk and the mirror looks like it hasn’t been washed in a year. Probably the most unclean property I have encountered in a long time and I stay in hotels frequently. There are clearly no standards here! Make a different choice!

This hotel needs to "clean up their act". Literally. We paid a rather premium price for our room (more that $200). On arrival (early evening on a Friday) check in went fine, but things kinda went downhill from there. Since we had an upper floor room, we needed to use the elevator. It was our first hint that the place needs a good cleaning and "spruce up". The "door frame" around the elevator is badly worn, paint chipped, bare wood showing, etc. Then, when the elevator opens, there was a slightly unpleasant smell and the elevator interior carpeting was extremely stained and dirty. Not what you'd expect from a hotel that get's in excess of $200 for a room. Arriving in the room, at first glance, pretty decent. But checking out the bathroom, we found remnants of fecal matter in the bottom of the bowl. A call to the front desk, and a young man from staff promptly showed up with a bottle of toilet bowl cleaner and a brush. He handed those items in the door and indicated that WE could clean the bowl -- he was not permitted to do that for us. Really? In a $200 room we are responsible to clean crap in the toilet bowl from a previous occupant? Amazing. We would have left right then and there and found a different hotel, but everyone in Grand Forks was booked up solid. We feel taken.

Rooms were extremely dirty. Crumbs on floor, a liquid drink of some kind splashed on the wall, dust on lamps, window ledges, headboards, sheets/pillow cases appeared to have not been changed as they had a bad bodily odor to them on both beds and were wrinkled as lived in, toilet was incredibly dirty with bodily fluid stains in toilet, around rim, and hair hanging from toilet seat. I took pictures of everything. Absolutely disgusting environment. I refused to stay due to conditions of room. The front desk agent attempted to move us into another room but when we walked into the new room along with the agent, we found that room to be unclean as well. I later was advised by an employee there that there was six complaints from other guests rooms not being cleaned. First time customer and I will never give my business to this establishment again.

The air conditioner compressor was loud & came on frequently, the air didn't work till 2nd nite when turned to high @60°. First nite shower I used little bottle of body wash. Barely any in bottle, figured left from previous guest. Had to go to desk & ask for towels & body wash 2nd nite, dirty towels still on floor. Had to shower with door open as no vent fan. A bit awkward, me, my husband & male cousin. Had to go ask for towels 3rd nite, dirty ones still on floor. Had to ask for kleenex, box was empty. Our trash can was overflowing. Was informed cleaning staff only comes in on Wed & Sat. We can come to desk for towels & empty our own trash. Won't ever stay here again & certainly would not recommend.

There were things that just didn’t work, it was a king suite, the A/C in the bedroom was good but the one in the sitting room did not. I brought it up to management and they said yeah there’s nothing we can do for that. The lights didn’t work the room was dirty and noisy and they said they couldn’t do anything

The room had horrible odor- mold +? The tub drain was broken. The bathroom fan was broken. The a/c unit didn't work correctly ever and not at all one night. Doors didn't shut and lock- new room issued and it also didn't lock correctly and the key cards wouldn't work. We spent a lot of money for rooms that were shotty and needed many repairs.

We were greeted promptly upon arrival, the attendant found my reservation quickly, but then asked for my CC info for Incidentals, I replied that I had completed the Pre-Registration process the night before, in response to the text from Wyndham / Americinn regarding the CC info. I was told, quite rudely, that Americinn does not send texts to guests. I said, "Let me show you the text". I was told, again quite rudely, she didn't want to see it. I asked why they wanted the same information, again. I was quite rudely dismissed, she completed the check-in and said Thank you. I believe that is probably the poorest treatment I have received ever, during a check-in, at any hotel. We chose to stay here, because on our last trip to GF, we stayed here and enjoyed our visit, with the small exception of the 2 am fire drill ! Other than that, we had an excellent overnight stay ! Very clean property, clean, fresh smelling room. I mean very clean !

We have stayed here before and really liked it. This last stay we had some bad service, half of the staff were great but the evening/overnight people didnt seem to want to be there or help. One gentleman was actually rude when we had issues with our key cards. Were we inconveniencing him that their keys lost coding and we needed into our room. Also no remote for a TV that they never got for us. Past experiences were great, may not go again?

Loved my 4-night stay here! Comfortable bed, well appointed room, helpful staff, location near Altru hospital and numerous restaurants. Breakfast items were many and varied daily- there was one morning that seemed some items were reheated from the previous day, however. I would certainly stay here again if I were in the area!
