Super 8 by Wyndham Atlantic City

Pool was out of service, elevator was out of service, had to pay 15 dollars a night to park my car on the property. Pubic hair on the shower floor, no microwave in room, fridge didnt get cold.... House keeper was nice enough to lend me a vaccum so i can vaccum the room when got there.

The elevator was out of service, yet management was given out rooms that required to go up flights of steps. The room i had, had bugs. I was happy to get my money back. I would never go back there again.

I like the property, didn't like having to pay for parking,they advertised a pool, but it looks like it haven't been in service for a long time, check-in was way to late,,,paying for a full day stay but in reality paying for half day at full stay prices....

Good for one night. Staff was cool a lot of commotion while there. No breakfast coffee was terrible no microwaves in the rooms only one down stairs. The room was clean 😔. Everyone uses one door elevator not operating doors taped up. However he let us go to the beach after checkout and let us continue to park there.

The pool was closed, on top of paying for parking. They only accepted cash for parking payment.

I've been into motels before, but this one is worse of a kind. Our room was musty, smelly and moldy. The pool was closed totaly dry in aheat of the summer, elevators are out of order, no breakfast provided ( you only get a muffin in the morning if requested from front desk). Theres no coffee maker or a microwave in a room. The air conditioner was so loud it was worse than sitting in the airplane next to the engine!! Horrible! Avoid this place!! Regarding the area...the TV in the room was screwed to the stand...see pictures. You can get what kind of people they host next to you....

No wifi no elevator No iron to press my clothes. On the website it says parking but when I got there I had to pay $15 per day. The main attraction was the pool: it was out of commission and on the website it was still active but when you got there in person they told you that it was not working. No breakfast. Microwave was in poor condition. All staff had bad communication

This hotel is extremely dated. The pictures make this place look fresh and modern. They lie. Place looks like a sleazy no-tel motel from the late 70s/80s. I know it was October when I visited, but looked like the pool had been closed for years. No mention of having to pay to park in the hotel lot. And really sketchy that parking was cash only.

Hotel has people hanging out on balconies saying obsenities etc at early hours of morning. Hotel room door did not have working latch notch

Elevator out of order. Pool out of order. Restrooms in lobby out of order. Bathtub/shower filthy- mold in tub & shower curtain stained. Good location. Too expensive for everything to be out of order & unclean. With all the money you are receiving from tourists you should be able to afford to at least get the elevator fixed! Carrying luggage up 3 flights of stairs is not fun- workers didn’t even offer to help.. $15 additional to park. Only good thing is it’s right near the beach/boardwalk.

To start off, I get to front desk to Check-in and you're told that you have to put a $100 deposit for the room which is not on the website. Then your told parking is $15.⁰⁰ a day cash only. We get to room, the room was nasty smelly.The carpets had holes in it original color i think was red, now its black from how dirty it is.The sheets had burnt holes in them. No water pressure in the shower. The shower heads were caked in calcium build up just dirty. They move this to a different room This room. Was a little better but at that point we had no choice but to stay. Second room was still smelled very old and stale. The water pressure the calcium's build up, holes in the blankets and carpet in the. Over all no Good.

I got bitten by BEDBUGS!!! On top of that the front desk staff is beyond rude. They are just natsy to customers. The HEALTH DEPARTMENT needs to go there and look into this filthy hotel.

This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Nothing was clean. There were stains everywhere you looked. The comforter in our non-smoking room had large but holes in it. It smelled awful. Noisy guests all night long. The pool was not operating, let alone functional. Woke up to a cockroach on the floor and watched it scurry under the dresser in our room. We didn’t checked out immediately after the cockroach was seen at 7am!!

The room was dirty. There were bed bugs I got bit up terribly. $100 deposit the room was disgusting Bums and people sitting out side the room

This room was completely filthy and black mold

Overall dirty hotel. They ask you to pay for parking but you can’t take your car. Dirty sheets, bed bugs bit me.

Had roaches

This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The motel was filthy and in horrible condition and stunk. I had to Lysol, Febreze, and spray air freshener. There were holes in the wall. the blankets had burned cigarettes holes in them. The toilet seat was cracked, and you had to wait an hour between bathroom use to flush the toilet properly. The staff were rude and disrespectful to women. The pool was closed and it was not stated on the website which is one of the reason I wanted to stay there, The website and the actual condition of the motel are two different things. Breakfast is a muffin in a bag. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the worst stay in a hotel in my life . Check in about 10:00pm went to dinner came back to the room, around 12:30am to sleep woke up around 5am to fine out my fiancé has been bitten by bedbugs. Check out immediately. Also should have know something was wrong, cause there where cockroaches crawling on the wall. Still waiting for my refund.

Staff was very nice. But the cleanliness was not the best. The bed felt like it had sand in it. Bathroom was not the cleanest. Toilet paper holder broke that had been repaired before

Spot was near boardwalk, and parking was easy enough. The condition of the room was interesting- damage to the walls and door, bathroom door didn’t close, and there were fruit flies in the bathroom upon arrival. No functioning elevator, so had to bring all belongings up to second floor using stairs. Not ideal for a bad back. Price was good.

I really just needed a place to sleep after enjoying the beach and clubs in AC so I didn't mind the place being kind of run down. The first room they gave me had a broken door lock so despite the key card working, the door would not open. They worked quickly to find me another room. However, the second room had a broken AC unit. It was tolerable as it worked more like a fan and blew cool air. The shower had a high pitched whistling sound when it was on so I had to keep the water coming from both the shower head and faucet to keep that sound from continuing. But it was a functional room and met it's purpose.

When it comes to the essentials, this room had what I needed and I was happy that I took the chance. With that said, as this was a holiday trip, I kinda wished I'd paid a little more to stay somewhere nicer. So here's my experience. Bad news first: Broken alarm clock. Broken electrical outlet attached to lamp. Real slippery electrical sockets where the plug keeps popping out. At least one socket just hanging out the wall. The shower curtain was especially dirty and the tub itself had a strange stain that made me reticent to take a bath (only showered). The bathroom also didn't smell particularly clean. The pool was closed. The elevator was broken and I wonder if they will ever intend to fix it (it was a pain having to carry my bike upstairs). There was an old monitor brace in the wall, they sloppily painted over. Wobbly leg on table. Toilet paper dispenser fell apart easily. Lastly (and probably my biggest issue), there were alot of shady folks hanging in and around the place. They did their best to shoo away loiterers, but the place overall felt sketchy. Overall, I just got the feeling that there was a lack of care regarding the little things that can make a big difference in a rooming experience. With that said, several things I liked. The pillows & sheets were very clean. The Air Conditioner was awesome (worked really well). Fridge worked well. Communal microwave was helpful. And I liked the overall style of the room. So basically, the room "got the job done".

It was close to the boardwalk everything else was horribly outdated

I had requested for smoking room and gave me non smoking. It says free breakfast. The breakfast was muffins. Bathroom ws ok but shower was very small. Didn’t even have a microwave.

TV cable is not working in the work and room is not what is being discribed.

It was noisy throughout the night into morning with some strange humming sounds. People talking loud. Room furniture look horrible. Dresser scratched; chair material torn. No hot water. Muffin only for breakfast.

My experience was not so good. The staff are not friendly at all. I was at the hotel in person before booking my stay, i was inquiring about the property, they gave me some imfo. I made my reservation online, when i when to the hotel to get the key they charged me for the parking and 5.00 for the key. Online it says one king bed and i got a full size bed

The hotel was very noisy sounded like people were fighting along with water pressure from the shower was horrible, along with i asked for clean towels and face clothes and to have our beds changed. That was never complete.But the front desk staff was very friendly

Front desk clerk was rude. Refused to abide by posted policy for late check out, then refused to let me book another day because I didn’t agree with the way he was doing business. He also threatened to have me removed from the hotel for questioning his lack of following the posted policy. After staying her faithfully for over 3 years I will NEVER book here again.

The room was ok, we get what we paid for I guess. The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, we had to body slam it to close. The fire alarm kept going off non stop in the middle of the night. This is the second visit this summer staying at the same place, however this time the check in person refused to take payment for parking through our card and made us get cash to give him, really shady.

The staff not friendly at all and now they start charging for the parking and has to be cash because maybe sharing it behind the management the room so old full of bugs and flies the bathroom is nasty the tiles coming up the sink want to fall down they do not change the towels or clean the room until u leave and they said breakfast included u think a good breakfast not at all they give u a paper bag with juice and muffins from dollar store plus the pool is empty not open so the customers can enjoy it I will not recommend this place to anybody and I wish if I can get my money back

Refused to let me check-in because I am not over 21 (British tourist). I couldn’t find anything on their website disclaiming this rule and I was still charged for one night. While I was sat in the lobby trying to find somewhere else to stay, two separate guests complained at the front desk about the poor cleanliness and lack of towels. I stayed at a different Wyndham Rewards hotel just two blocks down, who thankfully let me stay regardless of my age. I was grateful in the end that I was refused entry because the place looked grimy and dodgy, ‘Days Inn’ was a much nicer hotel and not much more expensive than Super 8. Elevator was out of service and the gentleman at the front desk was rude and unhelpful.

Front desk help was so amazing when i check in. Very appreciative of the time ahe spent with helping check in after Hotels.com 3rd party did not send over my reservation id and it took forever to get in my room.

Overall stay is good but still waiting for deposit to be returned.

The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Worst ever experience in any hotel i lived, extremely rude and illiterate staff, harrased me and my family for not checking out at 11 am, simply stay away at any cost

The Super 8 Motel in Atlantic City is a great place to stay at right by the boardwalk which is very convenient. I highly recommend it.

Close to the boardwalk

Perfect location, walking distance to the beach. Regular, average rooms/beds. Nothing special or different. If your just looking for a place to sleep/shower go for it. If your looking for an up-scale, fancy, up to date, super clean hotel- skip it!! -Parking is NOT included with price -They require a deposit -They have a pool but it is NOT operating -Only a mini refrigerator in rooms/no microwave/no coffee pot -Heat/AC do work really well -Beds are full sized/not queen (the rooms that have 2 beds) Do NOT COMFORTABLY fit 2 adults IMO

Price was great for 1 night. Very close to boardwalk. I think charging for parking for a hotel is not good especially when noone is parked there and its the hotels lot. The bathroom was super small. The lobby was old and elevator was out and so was restroom.

Location was great for the price...1 block to boardwalk and Irish pub, great beer garden/restaurant on the block,as well. Room was clean but was a bit of a mess..holes in the wall and 2 tvs in the room, appears one on the wall broke at some point so they placed one on the dresser as a replacement. Most of the staff was nice...manager was a bit rude and they charge 15 for parking which is fine, but we added a night stay and they tried to get another 15 from me (i said I'd come back to pay but haf no intention of doing so). As long as you're just looking for a place to sleep and shower,it does the job

Everything is in walking distance but the hotel it self I wouldn't recommend it

There was urine in the elevator and it's sketchy people that are around and patron the business. The staff is really nice and made the difficulties a bit better feeling about it.

The pool has been closed since last year but still advertised that a pool is available. They now charge 15 a day for parking. It was free last year. The sink outside the bathroom didn’t work. The light switch had tape on the broken switch. The tv area was an electrical hazard. Your breakfast is a brown bag filled with a juice box and a muffin. But the location is great and a very short walk to the boards and beach. The employees are nice and friendly. So if you aren’t that picky and just looking for an place to lay your head then this place is for you.

Would of been great if they offered breakfast like site said. Only coffee and juice .

If you are looking to sleep somewhere outside of your car, this may be an option. The entry is super old, nothing is updated. There was a spill in the entryway that was not cleaned until multiple guests made mention. The pool didn't work, the elevator didn't work, the juice was empty or didn't work, there was no continental breakfast, they give you a paperbag with 2 packs of muffins in it from the corner store. The sheets had a huge stain on it on the side by the bedhead. The stand up shower is super skinny, it had stains surrounding the shower floor, and the metal drain cover was broken. There also was no rod or hooks in the bathroom for your towels or rags. There is no ironing board and no one cleans your room until you leave. The front desk staff seems like they really don't want to be there. Spend a bit more and go further down the boardwalk because the walk to any actual activities on the boardwalk is about 30 minutes.

The only good thing about the place is that it's close to the boardwalk. Elevator broken, and they knew in advance that I had wheelchair and kept saying "it will be fixed tomorrow." Breakfast advertised, but was only stale muffins and juice. Phone never was fixed as requested, was not even plugged up. Didn't clean the room in 5 days and wouldn't give fresh sheets. Legs on table broken. Couch had wires and bumps. Worse place ever. Fly infestation.Everywhere else was all booked, no choice but to stay.

There was not really anything unique the walls everywhere need to painted and cleaned up. Elevator could us servicing! Carpets cleaned They say they have a pool but it was not open and didn’t even have water in it and was one of the reasons I booked this hotel cause it had a pool There breakfast was not as described at all but was a bagged breakfast that was a pack of mini muffins a juice and granola bar!! They do not tell you that as a guest you have to pay a day to park which is ridiculous!!!

This Hotel was very disappointing. They advertised that they offered a “continental breakfast “ every morning and all that they give you was a paper bag with a muffin and an apple in it. They did have juice and coffee. And the pool that they advertised was not functional and looked as though it had been out of service for quite some time. I was very disappointed over all.
