When i booked, it said breakfast included only to find out i only received 2 vouchers per room. I paid 40 dollars a night times 2 rooms for parking only to park at the underground garage at the convention center and pay an additional 10.00.

The location is great. It is walking distance from downtown and just a few minutes from Old Town. It is located near the 40 and 25 so it's very accessible. The fitness room has a working Peloton bike and is open 24/7. The fitness room is not very big but it has the basics and it wasn't widely used while I was there. The staff at the restaurant was very nice and accommodating.

Was disappointed when I got there an they told me I had to pay for parking each night the website didn't say that when I booked the room. I noticed other people parking there for an event that didn't have to pay.

Parking fee on property for there to be no security even monitoring the parking area. Very small pool, the hotel has unusual odor in the halls and is outdated. The lobby area is very nice but that’s about it. Check in is at 4 and early check in is not possible.

Upon checking in, we were informed that they oversold the 2 bed rooms and we were getting a king and a roll away bed. Before I could even respond, the front desk clerk was HORRIFICALLY rude- rolling eye, speaking to me like it was putting her out rather than doing her job. We crammed our party into the room with the roll away (having my elderly mother and all her oxygen equipment was not easy) and made do. When booking the room, months in advance, we confirmed that the pool was available as shown in the pictures. It wasn’t in fact usable as it was drained. Needless to say, we won’t be back at that hotel next year for the competition stay. *Note- we are from the Albuquerque area and know how subpar a good portion of customer service personnel are here but this was unacceptable and extreme.

The hotel kitchen has been under renovations for about 1 year, the gym has only 1 treadmill and 1 rowing and that’s it. These things should be mentioned in Expedia when booking. The shower in our room is dirty and has hair in it. There’s only half a toilet paper and no spare. The staff are friendly and are trying their best to accommodate with what they have, and it is not their fault I just think better communication by Expedia as that is who we booked it with should informed us.

Stay was great, the room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was amazing. The only problem I had was they charged $20 for parking but by the time we got back at night there wasn’t a single space available and I had to park across the street.

Staff was very friendly, but my room was not completely clean (dirty shower floor, urine stains on the bathroom floor, towels with stains). Common areas were also a bit shoddy. Access to the gym was limited because of maintenance. I know that's not the staff's fault, but it added to my overall experience.

I've stayed at this hotel twice due to their proximity to the Convention Center. Unfortunately, both times my room was dirty. On my most recent stay, the carpet had nail clippings on the bathroom floor and carpet entering the bathroom. This tells me the carpet nor the flooring was vacuumed. There was black curly hair on the shower walls and the tub itself was not clean. There was hair on and around the toilet as well. I ended up using the towels and shampoo to clean the bathroom, so I had to go down to the desk to get sets of fressh towels. There's no telling the last time the bathroom floor had been properly cleaned because the towel was black when I got done. The towel rack was coming out of the wall as well. The bar staff - Kate and Tiffany - are outstanding! They took very good care of me. The food here is pretty good as well. The ladies at the Starbucks, next to the bar, were very delightful and helped to get my mornings going. Unfortunately, the staff isn't enough to get me to come back. This hotel is due for an update. Until then, they really need to focus on cleaning and repairs. Attention to details is lacking.

Hotel is clean, staff is polite and it’s conveniently located walking distance from Central Ave. The room is large and the mattress is very comfortable. The TV is old, the door to the bathroom does not have an option to lock and the toiletries are too small for a single use.

This is my “go to” hotel as I travel through Albuquerque. I will say…things are a bit different as (a) they now charge for parking although it’s on the honor system (if you say you’re using the lot, they charge you) and (b) there was a large blue cable hanging from our ceiling. I believe it was coated Ethernet cable but it was sagging all the way across our ceiling like it was just left there. Other than that…good hotel!

We stayed in the "1 King Bed 2 Room Suite" which is actually two connecting guest rooms. Rooms were comfortable, with more than enough space, although there was no dining table, as their website room photos shows. Rooms were quiet, except for the through-wall AC units and refrigerators. Unfortunately, no EV charging on-site.

The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade. The carpets in hallways and (at least) our room were worn and stained. The water pressure in the shower was so low when my husband showered, that he told me not to waste my time.

A/C was broken & smelled like eggs. When asked to fix, we were told that somebody would be sent up to fix but was not. When checking out I asked if there was some sort of accommodation could be made & was told to contact Expedia. Clerks were ill-mannered.

When checking in the lady who checked this in was very nice. Later that night, when we went to sleep, our heater came on with a very loud screeching noise. I turned it off at the thermostat, but then it kicked back on and it started screeching, very loud. See, next hotel person who was a male, very rude told me just to unplug it.And we ended up freezing the whole early morning, three a m.to 8 a m when we woke up He was also very rude when we were trying to buy snacks down at the main counter and made it seem like we couldn't pay for it.And told us the price, I guess that was our pretty woman moment when she was shopping for clothes. We put our items back and just got a soda and went to our room. All in all you would think it would be a very nice experience.But it wasn't for us. Also, everything you have to pay for from twenty dollar parking on their property to a bottle of water in the room.

Hotel was fine. Clean and comfortable. Bit of nickle and diming. Annoying to be charged $20 to park in unguarded lot in Abq (next time I'd park for free on the street). Would have had to pay for internet (its not 1980) if wasn't a Hilton member. Not a lot of good food options within walking distance.

While the DoubleTree staff are friendly, the property is a bit run down and the area around it, downtown is mystifyingly empty. There are a few restaurants open but you have to step over the homeless to get to the door. We ventured to the 505 Food Hall. The selection of 6 different counters was nice but over all there was hardly anyone there at 7pm on a Saturday night.

All good except the “free breakfast”. The restaurant is not part of the hotel so you need vouchers at the lobby. They say kids eat free but the restaurant doesn’t honor that. They need to communicate better

The breakfast buffet downstairs is not good (pancakes dry enough to count as biscuits instead), and I assumed it was free. But actually it was $16. It would improve the experience at this hotel if that BOTH made the breakfast complementary and free. Also, setup a self-service coffee/beverage station there. The service shouldn't need to both with pouring your cup of coffee for you. Otherwise, a fine stay. The staff were considerate and I don't have any other complaints about the hotel.

The staff was good. Room service Never answered their phone. I called several times for three days. No one ever picked up. The hotel didn’t look clean from outside to inside. It was unsightly. I’ve stayed at Doubletree hotels all over the country. I’ve never seen one that looked so run down. Very disappointing.

front desk personnel were very attentive and checked us in and out with no problems at all. The downside was with the bartender. My wife & I wanted to have a drink and maybe dinner at the hotel. Nobody was at the bar or restaurant. The bartender seemd perturbed that we showed up. He said the hotel guests were all downtown. He got upset because he had to "dirty" his area by tapping a new keg. My wife asked for a mojito. Ten minutes later we asked if he was going to make the drink. His answer, "the hotel does not order mint". He did not offer any other drink. He said he just wanted to go home to his dog & cat. I felt embarrased for the hotel. This guy was certainly not a team player.
