The indoor pool was dirty. The “spa” consisted of a hot tub that was not working. The “hot breakfast” was a continental breakfast- but they don’t allow you to help yourself- not even to the coffee- they block off the dining area and you have to ask for each thing you want- it’s tedious. We are no longer in the pandemic. What is their excuse?

The pool was nice, even though the hot tub was out of order. Some construction work was being done, but it didn’t interfere with our stay that much. The room was ok. The floors were dirty, but the towels and bed sheets were clean. Overall, I would go back to this hotel.

They claim they have a spa and even emphasize this on a sign in front of the hotel and it isn't working in some time so I felt cheated as I was desperatey in need of a spa.

Hotel lobby was being renovated. I'll excuse some things because of that. Hot tub was same temp as the unheated indoor pool. Meaning pretty cold. "Buffet" breakfast consisted of waffles, toast, or bagels. No meat or protein of any kind. Walked around a woman laying on the sidewalk in front of our room. Not sure if she was staying there or not. I know it is Old Town, but was a sketchier area than I anticipated. The room was mostly fine, and would have been much better if the wood floor had been swept of the random bug wings and general grime. There were 2 bugs that had been smashed on the wall with guts on the clean white wall that housekeeping had not bothered to remove.

The rooms were ok. The property was under construction when we went and jacuzzi was out of service. Not much was offer for breakfast. We chose to eat somewhere else as a result.

As soon as we checked in and opened the door, we were met with a big stain on the first bed. The microwave was dirty and there was another stain on the second bed and a hole in the sheet. I went right back to the lobby and checked out. Totally disgusting. I couldn’t get my money back but there was no way I was letting my family stay in such filthy conditions. You should be ashamed.

Staff very nice and helpful. Room was very poor. The floor had obviously not been cleaned in a very long time. Turned our feet and socks black!! Water from tap stank and caused both of us upset stomachs! It was located very close to Old Town which was a bonus. Get it clean and it would be a good place to stay.

Just do yourself a favor and avoid this property. My family of three and two pets stayed for a quick place to sleep on a cross country trip. The room was disgusting to say the least. AC clogged with dirt and grime(YOU ALSO CANNOT CONTROL WHEN YOUR AC IS ON!!) the floors had leftover food in corners with mor grime. Dirt under the mattress, sink stopper was pulled out and clogged with what can be described as goo(you’re welcome for us cleaning that, I have before pictures). I could go on about something on the ceiling, stains on the wall, etc. I will also be leaving a google review of this place. And providing pictures as well as placing a complaint. I would have spoke with a manager, if I had felt as if anyone cared about doing any job efficiently, even a tiny bit.

I wasn't expecting too much considering the price. The room was fine except the toilet was dirty. I wanted to use the hot tub. As I approached the pool and hot tub I questioned whether I wanted to get in or not as it appeared rough (no smooth) and didn't look clean. I touched my foot in the hot tub. It was the temp of pool water. I was saved by the temp and didn't venture in. The location was perfect for my trip as well as the price. If I made the same trip again, I would possible stay here again.

Ants! We awoke to hundreds of ants in our room. We are not yet certain that we cleaned them all out of our luggage. I talked to the front desk with no result. The place was being renovated. The “Hot Breakfast” was cold cereal. The advertised spa (hot tub) didn’t work. Roaches on the stairs and hallways. Customer service is non existent.

The desk staff was friendly and helpful. At first glance the room looked ok. But, I didn't appreciate the dead bugs in the corner by the floor lamp, the hair in the tub, the shower rug/towel had footprints/shoe prints on it. The water from the sink smelled somewhere between sulphur and sewer. I made the mistake of wetting my toothbrush and it tasted the same. I literally gagged. I used bottle water after that. My trip was short and busy so I really couldn't take the time to fight for a refund and find another room. The pool and hot tub were indoor and just didn't offer a great vibe. I questioned the cleanliness so I didn't use them. I really only needed a bed, fridge, microwave and shower. It did accommodate that. But, I will not be back. Sleep Inn Airport and Sandia Peak Inn both offer quality at around the same price. They will be my go to for an affordable room. Oh!!! And the towels had so much towel lint that when I applied my foundation I could feel the lint! THAT was frustrating. Nice staff. Not a great place to stay.

Room was particularly clean (could still smell the cleaners). Sleeping area was nicely updated; bathroom was on par for the brand. Comfortable bed and good pillows. Biggest issue was noise - walls are thin (heard neighbor sneeze), plumbing is loud (made me jump when neighbor turned on shower after I went to bed), and some car noise from parking just outside rooms. Check-in was bumpy, but think the man was a trainee. Felt safe enough for a one night pit stop.

This was an okay place to stay. My biggest complaint was the pillows which were huge and uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well. Also the area seemed a little sketchy. The staff were very nice however, and the breakfast was great.

Stayed in room 120. Was a nice, clean room. Bed could have been a little more comfortable, might need to change out the mattress. The staff was friendly and very helpful on check in and out. The heat/ac unit was a little difficult at first as I had never encountered one like it before, but once I got the hang of making temperature changes, it was fine. All in all, a good hotel. I would stay here again if in town.

The room was huge. The bed was amazing. The jacuzzi tub was heaven. Breakfast was great. Fast, easy check in. Very quiet, especially for where its at. The price is unbeatable! I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay again.

Was looking for a low cost short stay near Old Town. Although on a busy road, this Econolodge was just a short walk away. And i must say, the bed was wonderfully clean and comfortable. Biggerst negative, the mini split A/C blows straight down on the bed and the "smart" were frustratingly hard to get to work. For the rest...a tad grubby exterior snd about what you\'d expect at the price.

I was pleasantly surprised with this Econo Lodge. The room was better than expected for the area. The beds were comfortable, and it was quiet the entire night. The only thing that was a little annoying was the paper thin walls. We could hear our neighbors like they were in the same room. I'm sure the neighbors did not appreciate our noise either.

Worst check in by a guy who claims two of our credit cards were declined. We called our bank and they said the reason was that the motel IP address has been flagged as suspicious address. He even refused to give our ID back on check out and had us waited for the maid to clear the room. This guy needs to be fired.

Would not let my family stay here again. They were told not to use the pool because he didn't want the floors to get wet because he already mopped 3 hours before the pool closed. Was told we get daily room service when I booked the trip from out of State but when they needed towels 2 days later were told oh you have to request room service . Very rude told my daughters they needed to come back and wash the blankets and sheets or they would be charged. I have 12 attempted charges on my card alone from $150 to $10 dollars. They also tried to do the same to my daughters card. Not a very professional place .

Spent the night during a road trip with my dog. The staff (both evening and morning) were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with very fluffy pillows. The breakfast was great and the location was very close to Old Town Plaza.

The staff was nothing but accommodating. Helpful, courteous, and even providing the shuttle to/from airport on Sunday. Breakfast has a variety of fresh cooked and packaged products with the best coffee!. A great location with bus lines a short walk away, Old Town Plaza a short 5 minute walk, and staff helpful on locating transit. I look forward to coming back and exploring the area more

For the price, and convenience (ten minute walk) to old town, it can’t be beat. Free breakfast and parking, too. The neighborhood is run down and the hotel is named aptly… think low budget. I never felt unsafe but maybe this isn’t a place for families. This is my second time coming here, so for all the positives, I’ll likely be back.

Really close to old town and botanical garden. Down town and airport is near too. So the location was fantastic. Pls note that the proterty looks like new mexico style building. But when i got there, it didnt feel all that way, because, the surrounding area is only at the edge of old town and it felt like just concrete building standing alone. It is also facing busy street. A bit disappointed. We were able to walk to old town so that was nice. But next time, i may try to stay in downtown ABQ area. It seems like there maybe more stuff to do there for a little more money.

Super convenient to all the museums and Biopark. There are great dining choices easily within walking distance if you wish. Neighborhood isn't great. Motel is showing it's age but they were still including eggs in their hot breakfast (even at the high cost at the time).

Hotel is on Central a few blocks east of the Botanical Gardens, so Rapid Ride (free) is right there. Also can walk to Old Town restaurants. Lovely smelling petunias in pots outside doors, microwave, and fridge. Very comfortable beds and good shower.

The property itself was in an area that seemed very quiet during the night. The room was clean sheets clean with no stains, breakfast had lots of options including omlettes, oatmeal, sausage cereal waffles yogurt fruit coffee milk juice. It was very filling to start your morning good. The staff we encountered during our stay were very nice and helpful not one frown. The only thing keeping me from eating full stars was the water inside the shower. It was like showering with a water hose only had 1 direct stream and the tub seemed to be outdated but was still clean. There were no noises that kept us up at night and overall enjoyed our stay. We came to visit the zoo and aquarium which is a 2 minute drive and had lots of fast food restaurants nearby which kept us from driving all over town. Will be staying here again.

Breakfast was weird. They wouldn’t let you get your own. Had it blocked off with tables with a lady behind those tables serving. Definitely not a decision made by management I hope. Very weird.

Our biggest complaint was the pillows. There were 4 identical pillows that were too thick and too firm. Normally on a king sized bed there are different kinds of pillows so you can choose the ones you like. The breakfast choices were skimpy. There was no cereal or waffles. The breakfast lady had hot hard boiled eggs, sausages and potatoes and a variety of breads and muffins.
