Honestly we were hoping this hotel would be a refreshing place to stay with our two children after a long drive. Pictures and description advertised a pool slide. However when we got there the slide is closed indefinitely. I understand the safety issues, needing to have a full time lifeguard, but how about mentioning that online? Maybe remove the pictures of the slide in the pool as it is deceptive? The front desk agent was very curt, almost to the point of being rude, yet there were few staying that night, so why so gruff and irritable. Overall a very disappointing stay at holiday inn. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Hotel generally was ok and we had a good view from our room of the balloons at the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. There was a problem with the hot tub and we had to get maintenance involved every time we wanted to use it. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful.

The rooms we had were dirty. Hair was in the drain , clipped toe nails next to 2 of the beds, Only one elevator was working and the one that was working was SLOW The property was under a remodel, which it does need, but stating that when me made reservations would have been nice. It would have made an impact on our choice to stay there.

Hotel is amazing and stayed there for two nights in 401. However, the drainage from the shower area stinks. Specially if it’s dry, there’s that foul odor that comes out from the drainage. Overall, It was a pleasurable stay🙂

Elevator is slow. Sounds like it’s going to break down at any moment. Takes forever. Staff was okay. Room was dirty. Light switches were filthy. Bedding was gross. The room Smelt bad. Pool and hot tub were okay. Felt out dated. No slide. Hot tub was warm. Not hot. Wasn’t the best experience overall for the price. Wouldn’t stay again.

The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and in good condition. The staff were courteous and helpful. The overall hotel was clean and smelled good. The food was good, good variety and decent prices. What i didn't like was only 1 elevator was working on a busy balloon festival weekend.

Negatives first, this property is not within walking distance to anything, except the pot dispensary next door. I did not see anything sketchy nearby. There are a ton of nice restaurants within a short drive. I reserved a king suite. What I learned is that every HI could be different. We stayed at 3 different HI hotels during our multi-city trip, this provided by far the best suite room. You had a sitting room, with sofa/Chaise and TV, then an area with kitchen with cabinets, sink, fridge & mw across from the bathroom. Past that is the large bedroom with it’s own tv. In our room, we found that it was getting warmer. We found the a/c wasn’t working. They sent someone right up. He confirmed it wasn’t working and he could not fix it quickly, so they found us another identical room. Luckily we hadn’t completely unpacked. They did offer help but we refused. Even with the a/c issue, this was by far our favorite of the 3 HI’s (T or C, ABQ and Vegas).

General manager, Michelle was horrible. She was rude. Our rooms were dirty. She had an attitude we came from Colorado Springs for youth football of course the kids wanted to enjoy the pool wasn’t even quiet time . She yelled at the kids for being loud remind you quiet time was at 10 and it was 8 o’clock on a Friday night wouldn’t recommend this hotel to even my enemies

Convenient in terms of being near the business I was there for; inconvenient in terms of having to take Ubers to and from dining options, which were not far but could not be walked to (safety concerns with traffic and neighborhood). Im traveling for work and have a tight schedule. I was told that the breakfast starts at 0600. The set up didnt even start at 0600 and by 0615 the breakfast was still not ready. I had to leave so I dont really know when exactly the location was ready for breakfast.

Firstly, I would like to give big thanks to their food & beverage manager, Mr. Christopher Dressler and the kitchen chef Nolan. We ordered dinner for two adults and two kids at the bar restaurant inside the hotel, and Christopher went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The food was amazing, we truly enjoyed tasty cheeseburgers and steak frites! So glad we decided to eat at the hotel instead of going out. He took care of us so well, and I am sure he will do the same for all his customers! Hotel was new and very clean. One thing we were sad about was that water slide at their indoor pool was only open on weekends but they don’t state so anywhere. The water slide was the reason we booked this hotel so it was a big disappointment. Front desk staff was very kind and friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.
