Super 8 by Wyndham Bernalillo

While our vehicle was parked some painters were painting the outside hotel and got specks of paint all over the front of my vehicle . No Manager was available the person at the front desk did not seem to be concern as there were other parked vehicles. Barriers could have been placed to prevent this.

The best door for us to go in to get to the room was one of their outdoor side doors. We had a lot of issues getting our key to open it. We even went back and got another key. Then the office gal came out to try. We have no idea how, but she got the door open, but we never were able to get it to work.

Property was not the greatest, no pop or ice machine, breakfast none.

Good customer service, clean room. Good price. Didnt like thaat the hotel was charging me about $30 more than other websites. On the pmus side they got a big parking lot to park your truck and trailer or semi.

The lobby was not in good shape, wires hanging down, some construction going on. Room was clean and linens and bed comfortable. Rooms in better shape than the lobby.

It was close to the interstate. It was advertised as having a pool and hot tub and it did not have this amenities. There was also a smell of marijuana inside the building.

My room was clean. I didn't get up on time for breakfast so no comment on that. The elevator was out of service in the morning. It was a big room, with a separate living area. The bed was clean and comfortable. The sink actually drained well, which isn't common in hotels. I had a fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Nice TV and channel options and the remote worked! If you are expecting the Taj Mahal you will be disappointed , but if you have reasonable expectations of a cheap hotel, you will find this one to be very nice.

The desk staff worked to give me the room I reserved. I had initially reserved a large first floor Accessible room to secure my bicycles as this hotel doesn’t have an elevator. But the desk clerk suggested I take a smaller king room. I took the smaller room but later changed my mind after seeing the accessible room & the clerk allowed me to take the accessible room instead, which was in better condition as well.

clean rooms with some updates. comfortable bed and quiet environment for a good night's sleep. always a super friendly staff. We always travel with our dog, and this hotel is pet friendly :0)

The young man who checked us in was very efficient and friendly. All the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Decent stay, but the room really could have been cleaner. There was hair in the bathroom, on the tub, in the drain, etc. pretty gross.

The front desk person was extremely nice, the room was clean. I was pleased to see they upgraded their towels, they were nice and full. Overall great experience.

The beds were comfortable. The property seemed reasonably clean, but when we arrived, there was a cockroach in the middle of the floor. The wi-fi was spotty, and there was no water available to drink at breakfast.

The room had a stale smell. The carpet was dirty and had multiple stains. The chairs were cloth and showed a great deal of dirt, stains and wear. One chair looked partially broken so we did not use it at all. There was something splattered on the ceiling around the light fixture by the window that I think was ketchup. It matched the stains on the floor and curtains and the red smear on the wall under the window. These clearly had been there for quite some time. The blanket on the bed was at least 20 years old and had cigarette burn marks. The bathroom door was cracked and the light switches didn't match and were dirty. The entire building needs updating and renovations, or a power washing at a minimum. The complimentary breakfast lacked substance and consisted of a packaged muffin, an apple and/or a packet of instant oatmeal. Juice and coffee was also offered. The smell of marijuana was present at the top of the stairwell on the second floor coming up from the lobby. I will not stay at this location again. I will definitely think carefully before staying at another Super 8 location in the future.

The hotel is clean and bright for yhe price i paid. Employees are courteous and kind. Light breakfast is ok. The area feels safe and quiet even though its by the freeway. Good value for tge price.I slept good.

The room clean and well put together. I slept good. everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Unclean bathroom floor upon arrival. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds, working AC. Outdated key cards a little difficult to use.

When we arrived there was no one at the desk. Waited about 10 minutes for someone to assist us. Once we got into our room it was dirty, the walls had writing and buggers all over. The hairdryer had hair hanging out of it. The sheets had brown spots. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Property isn't in the best of shape. A lot of upgrades are needed. Cheap but there's a readon.

The room we had seemed old like the floor was maybe tile. It was very cold to walk on. Bed was a bit comfortable and the bathroom looked like it had been painted but not updated. It did look like an older room

This is a dated Super 8 and the building shows it’s age. But it was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. I got a great night’s sleep, the coffee in my room was good, and I had a nice, hot shower. A great value for the money.

Needs updating but close to restaurants, convenience stores. The floors creak when you walk, and the walls are thin you could hear other people in their rooms. The price was good just to sleep.

The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. However, the property is in dire need of maintenance and a remodel. The walls are filthy, tore up and stained. The carpet is the same. We had the noisiest guests directly above our room with a child that wouldn’t stop stomping and screaming until after midnight. After several calls to the front desk, other guest complaints, and finally going to the front desk ourselves and saw them call, we gave up. The walls are paper thin. Breakfast was non existent. The beds were comfortable enough had some people parented their three year old. (We are parents also and our kids were quietly in bed at a normal time, and upheld respect for our neighboring rooms). We wouldn’t stay here again and will splurge on our regular Santa Ana stays. If you have small children, teach them respect for others and what’s appropriate (jumping off beds and screaming until midnight isn’t). It isn’t the staffs fault but we would have asked them to leave with the number of complaints from one room. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you like a clean and peaceful stay.

Hotel management and front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Emerson, the clerk is always friendly and accommodating. Room is comfortable and clean. I always enjoy my stay here especially cause the price is affordable.

In town for a 3 night stay. The shower had a dead band between hot and cold that made water available that was cool to cold or scalding hot. When I told the clerk, he gave me a shrug and said he would put a ticket in but it would be Monday before anyone could look at it. No offer to move me to another room.

We had a minor vehicle issue, at no fault of Super 8. Staff were vigilant and extremely helpful. Hat’s off to their staff, especially Emerson and Mike, for all their help and quick action. They are working hard to maintain a safe and quiet place to rest.

The staff was excellent. I told him I needed a refrigerator for my medical use. They immediately accommodated me. The cleanliness here is better than most hotels that I’ve stayed at. And overall, this is the best bang for the buck.

I waited for over 40min for the desk person and called the number for the hotel and no one showed up to check me in so I was so tired from driving that I had to rent another hotel. The lobby was complexly empty (no furniture👀), no personal at the check in front desk, no one answered our calls and random men where getting drunk outside the parking lot which was the point I felt super unsafe. Ppl where showing up to check in and we all waited but like I said I was extremely exhausted from driving it was already past 9pm and I had to find another hotel since I felt so unsafe waiting there.

A nice, clean place to spend a night. No frills but conveniently located to restaurants and 24 hour stores.

Although the place is somewhat basic and simple, it perfectly fulfills its purpose since it is highly practical for the area in which it is located, partly because the accesses to it are the best, but do not expect a pool or things like that, it is a place only to rest a little, sleep well, bathe and go out to do your thing in the city....be careful, it is approximately 18 miles from downtown Albuquerque, so you will need a car to be able to move comfortably and calmly....

The staff is professional and accommodating.The rooms are clean and functional. The location is in close proximity to the railrunner, a gateway to the major public transportation hub of the region. So overall, I would recommend Bernalillo's Super 8.

Greatclocation right off RT25 exit. Surrounded by resturaunts within walking distance and many stores.

Was a great stay. Room was very comfortable and clean. All n all great. The breakfast was a little bit cheesy all that was offered was instant oatmeal,apple & blue berry muffins. Coffee & juice also. Clerk Celeste’s was very friendly.

Breakfast too poor!! No eggs, No waffles, 2 cereal types, only apples, coffee and orange juice. Very disappointed.

Room was okay, nothing special. The shower was good with great water pressure. The sink had low water pressure and was slow to drain. The “Super Start” Breakfast was very disappointing. They had orange and apple juice, coffee, muffins, instant oatmeal, and apples. I may have missed an item, but no waffle maker, no cold cereal, no eggs, bacon, or sausage. Things I am accustomed to seeing at Super 8 Hotel breakfasts.

Convenient to Interstate 25, a little run down, and not much in the way of breakfast options.

You get what you pay for here. TV remote didn’t work, breakfast was a joke, rook was old and smelly

They advertised breakfast was included. Packaged muffins is not breakfast. And coffee was old and burnt tasting.

GREAT service. Check-in was fast and the employee was extremely helpful. My only complaint was that breakfast was a packaged muffin and juice. We just went across the street to Denny's. Great place for a quick night.
