We stayed 5 nights while visiting our daughter and son in law. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. The only complaint would be one of the washers was out of order (I did 2 loads) and the dryers had to be ran twice for clothes to get dry.

We had a great stay at the La Quinta in Gallup. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The gym is excellent. The breakfast was fresh daily. We stayed in a king suite. I highly recommend it. The room was very large and exceeded our expectations.

I booked this looking forward to sitting in the hot tub after a 7.5 hour drive only to find out once I arrived that the hot tub had not been working for a few days. The website should have some way of reflecting that. I was very dissatisfied the staff member just stated it matter of fact and didn’t offer anything more. I won’t be booking again without verifying all amenities are working properly.

We checked in late and left early. We stopped on a road trip. The room was comfortable for my daughter and my golden retriever. I love that La Quintas are dog friendly. They have a cute fenced in dog area in back of hotel. The shower was the highlight as water warm and great water pressure! ( We had driven over 12 hours and were exhausted!) Thanks again!

This is one of the most pet-friendly hotels in the area. It has its own little dog park and plenty of places to walk in a safe environment. My dogs woke me at 3 am to go out and I felt safe wandering around the property and the adjacent area.

Allowed us to check in 30 minutes early which was great after driving over 10 hours! Clean, bright and comfortable room. Just passing through the area but would stay again. The gym was also clean and had a good selection of weights and cardio including a Peloton.

A convenient stop over on the way bak to Phoenix. Its an older property right by the busy train tracks.which run all night. The spa was out of order which would have been very beneficial to have known this prior to visiting. I would have booked somewhere else.

Stayed over night on our drive from vegas to Texas. First floor smelled very clean when we walked in. Reception was great and quick. Got second floor room. Immediately when I walked in a got a musty smell of urine. Thought maybe it was since the ac wasn’t on. Turned it on and noise from the unit was very loud. The smell, well that didn’t go away ever. It was especially present in the corner by the bed that was next to the wall. Contemplated moving to a different hotel but was extremely tired and hubs fell asleep immediately. Early in the morning we could hear dogs barking and decided just to get and go. Would not stay here again.

One of our rooms was great, clean comfortable and the other needed some help. Tile floor was filthy dirty (turned the towel brown) and you could hear water dripping or running all night long.

Great hotel to stay over in Gallup NM. Dog friendly, newer hotel, super clean, smells good, great bed, quiet and safe part of town. We always stay here on driving trips to AZ.

I’m sure for anyone reading this that the single elevator will be fixed so you won’t have to trudge up flights of stairs with your luggage and maybe you’ll luck out and get a room facing the rear instead of the front where trains rumble down the tracks all night, and hopefully you won’t be on a floor with kids running up and down the hallway that shakes the floor. Yeah I’m sure it was just bad luck for me, bound to happen as many hotels as I’ve stayed at. The room itself was modern, accommodating and comfortable.

This hotel was very clean. Our room was spacious! We stayed in a king suite. Upon entering our room, the hotel clerk called to make sure everything was ok. It was really nice to have a door between the bedroom and living room. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, etc. There is a Dickey's Barbecue within walking distance. We were very pleased.

Room was clean and pleasant. It definitely could’ve been more soundproofed, since it is across the street from railroad lines. As a person who grew up in the military, I learned to fall asleep while jets zoomed over my house, so this didn’t bother me. However, to those who aren’t used to train/other noise, this could be detrimental. My only real complaint involves the ‘morning after’ my stay. Despite putting the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, housekeeping opened my door between 9:45 and 10:00AM. I left at 10:15AM, well before check-out time. I absolutely detest this policy.

We stayed here on our way to CA and on the way back. Convenient right off the highway but behind a couple other hotel so no highway noise! The north side does have a train track but can't hear it on the south side. Good continental breakfast.

The staff was really nice and personable, the room comfortable, and the room was larger than the others we stayed in for this trip. Relaxing to sit in the room to recharge before going to sleep - sure, one can watch television on the bed, but aparently sitting on a couch to do this is becoming a thing of the past. Not here! So, thank you.

Paula and Skylar were so awesome, very helpful. Paula was so helpful in assisting us with a broken refrigerator. The staff in all was so friendly and responsive to all of our requests. Who ever hires and trains these folks is doing a great job, as is the staff.

Property had a good continental breakfast with plenty of dining space available. I checked in on a Friday night and there was only one Front Desk worker and she was very busy. Seemed like there was enough activity for two people to be working. There was a line of about 4 people and the phone kept ringing. She did a great job of managing but would have been more efficient with another agent up front.

The bathroom has no shampoo bottle and out of body wash. So I sent 2 text messages to the hotel asking for the supplies. There was no response. I called the front desk, nobody answered. I waited for 30 minutes and still no response to my messages. I decided to call front desk again. This time a woman answered but she said she was busy of checking guests in and asked me to come down and get the supplies myself. Later, when I tried to get lotion from the mini traveler size bottle provided in the bathroom, I found out that it was almost empty. That means the housekeeper was too lazy to replace a new one for the next guest. But overall hotel and room are clean and breakfast is normal, not

When booking on Expedia’s website somehow the date was booked out a month farther than our arrival. The 10:45pm Staff Member went over and beyond the call of duty to remedy this issue and assist with contacting Expedia. When contacting Expedia’s Customer Service Representative the issue was quickly resolved. Top notch assistance with both La Quinta Inn Staff Member and Expedia! Huge Thank You!!!

Check out time is 11am. But the "Cleaning STAFF " was knocking on our room door at 9:30am. We got back to our room around 2:30am. We were still sleeping.... VERY DISRESPECTED....

Staff wasn't helpful at all and told me that no rooms were available when I requested to change rooms due to an awful smell in the one we were given. However there were still rooms listed as available online. Didn't have answers to my simple questions about papers they had me sign when I checked in. And as if our experience wasn't bad enough, I get a surprise charge in my bank that they told me nothing about. Would never recommend coming here. There are like 6 other hotels in the area and I wish I had picked any one of them over this place.

I did not realize there would be a minimum of hourly trains next to the hotel all night long. If you are an insomniac, that is devastating. I now have to travel today with minimal rest. Secondly the young woman working in the breakfast area was not able to keep up with the food needs for the amount of travelers there at 7am. The coffee was terrible. On the positive side, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I know train traffic is not the responsibility of the hotel but I am going to ask more questions in the future.

La Quinta have proven over and over as being clean, roomy and affordable. Only issue with this location is the very busy railway across the street. No whistle blowing, but noisy just the same. Try and get your room on the backside.

This hotel was conveniently located right off the I40 and nestled among other hotels. I was just staying overnight on my road trip and found it to be very safe (always being aware of my surroundings). There is a Dickies BBQ and Denny's in the same parking lot which was great to be able to walk over for dinner. Upon check in the reception was friendly and since I didn't have a pet or kids was put on the 3d floor and I requested away from the elevator which was easily accommodated. I did not utilize the pool but did see that there was lots of families enjoying the indoor pool. There is a really nice pet area also that was very clean. My room was very clean and quiet. I did not have breakfast but did see lots of selections and folks seemed to be enjoying it. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel and area. Staff is friendly, helpful and hotel is clean. It’s convenient to restaurants and gas stations. Also has free shuttle to nearby casino. Awesome views! Room is spacious and quiet. Love the suites and the layout of them. Great breakfast and it’s pet friendly too!

2 night stay room never serviced, the person said I have to request for service. No one mentioned or any room information about this. The breakfast was bad you can tell the food has been rewarmed over and over. The sausage patties were small yet cut in half. And were hard from being re-cooked. They were hard NO JOKE! This property will be a motel 6 with this franchisee .

Was a little disappointed in the breakfast. Not a very big selection of stuff to choose from. The sausage was cold and colorless not very appetizing to look at. Just had scrambled eggs. No potatoes and waffles was the other choice.

Front desk staff at night was excellent. The facility and room were clean. This was the worst hotel breakfast I ever had. I've managed restaurants for 20 years and this place was using every dirty trick in the book to save on food cost. The sausage patties were a mix of fresh and day old, the gravy was watery, there was ice in the fruit juice to water it down. The included breakfast is a big part of what makes these hotels a good deal and this one was bad news.
