Don't be too put off by the hotel exterior which looks a bit grim. Inside there is a nice lobby with fire burning. We were upgraded to a huge suite on 3rd floor. Clean, comfy and very quiet. Only problem with room was the WiFi signal was very poor (full 5G connection in lobby). Breakfast was basic but coffee very good. Difficult to say if we'd recommend. Pros and cons. Pool was full of soapy scum. But hotel extremely good value for money.
