This is our frequent stop on way to AZ. The room size is great for our family if 5. The kids love the pool. The lobby is a good place to hangout but unfortunately the scent that they use there is overwhelming. For this reason I did not give a full five stars. It gave me a headache the short time that I was checking in and fortunately did not go all the way down the hallway to our room on the 1st floor.

The outside doesnt look to appealing, but the inside was very nice. The pool was good, the hot tub was really good. They had a decent hot breakfast and the staff was excellent.

The gym floor was coming up in a few places and the parking lot had huge cracks in the ground that are difficult to avoid. Other than that the breakfast was good and the staff was excellent

It was a nice stay. Everything was so clean, felt comfortable and the whole hotel smelled amazing!! The staff was sweet and the breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend this place out of all the hotels in ruidoso. This was our first time and it wont be our last.

Bathroom wall had some kind of gross stuff on it, it looked like feces or snot. The beds were very uncomfortable and pillows were tiny. For some reason the static electricity in the room was horrible and you got shocked just about anytime you touched anything, especially on the beds. At night you could see the sparks in the sheets.

The hotel was renovated and ia a good lace to stay the only thing i had to complain is the small TVs 📺 on the living room and room it was a 32" and outdated.

I booked and asked for a shower instead of a bathtub due to hip issues. There weren’t many people there but I was told no rooms had a shower only. Even with a few people there we had a room with people on either side. The walls are very thin and we could hear both sides. Children running in the hallway could be heard too.

Everything was great and staff was great great place I love the mountains and hotel was clean and excellent this might sound jerk like the only thing I didn’t care for was the tv and cable it’s first hotel I couldn’t use Hulu or Netflix in and the cable kept lagging out

Overall great stay. Comfortable bed, good water pressure and hot shower! A couple things that could use some attention: bathroom door made a very loud creak every time it was opened and shut, waking people if used during the night. The heater in the bedroom side did not work. We cranked the thermostat up to try and get it to kick on but it just blew cold air all night.

I was quoted $366.35 on Expedia and was charged that... then they charged $494.30. when I questioned this the rude girl at the front desk told me that they can charge whatever they see fit. The $366.35 was refunded to my card but they charged me over $127 more than quoted (494.30) this is bait and switch and I believe unlawful. Children were running up and down the halls knocking on doors and running away at night. The hallways reeked of marijuana smoke. We couldn't use the Jacuzzi because it was filled with screaming children. The rude young blonde girl at reception should consider another career. I saw that McDonald's was hiring. The manager was pleasant however I still was overcharged. The property was clean however the TV, heater and refrigerator are on the same electrical circuit (in my room) and the tv would glitch out everytime the heater or the refrigerator would cycle. This may be dangerous as it could indicate an overloaded circuit..

While the property is clean and well kept. The staff is horrible and once you do check in the stick you with an additional 16 dollar fee. This is the first time ever I have been charged additional once I get to the property. The amount charged thru expedia is all I have been charged. Stadf extremely unhelpful and rude

A great value for the price. Easy access to the property and good all around amenities. Bed was very comfortable (room 128). Room is super spacious. One small drawback: even though the is a full size tub, the is no stopper to enable bath taking. A big minus for a woman.

It was good overall however to get our breakfast we have to wait almost 45 minutes for just eggs and bacon. It was a busy season but still it took just too long. The pool was just way too crowded for its size

Hotel was real nice and clean! Seems hotel was recently remodeled and was up to date and modern... We showed up about 40 mins before breakfast was over, however no more food was added. Many other guest arrived later and saw they were disappointed...

Check in was alright though room not available on time. When checking in found out about SURPRISE services fee by hotel and NOT identified by Hotels.Com on their website for the hotel. This should not happen…EVER! Had to pay additional $10.32 services fee. This should have been included in the cost of the hotel from the get go. Will be contacting Hotels.Com for reimbursement for fee. When leaving in morning on MLK day. Lots of folks for breakfast and not enough food. Wait time was going to be nearly 30 minutes. Lots of large families 5+. It would benefit the hotel to know who was going to be coming to breakfast the next morning including number and time to be better prepared. This was a significant disappointment that we had to go to breakfast elsewhere. Room was nice and checking folks nice however I cannot recommend this hotel for future visit.
