My stay was pleasant and quiet while i was there. Staff was friendly and helpful. My special requests where accommodated and was helped in a timely manner. I would also recommend the bar as its in a nice location with great atmosphere. Unfortunately the rest was bad. The lighting to gym made it look like a dungeon and the equipment was disorganized or broken. There was only one ice machine for both floors. The pool and hot tub was still being worked on. Talked to the staff and said they where under renovations. Hopefully it will be soon because it needs it.

The staff were friendly and the bed/pillows were comfortable. The pool was closed, and had been for some time. One of the things on our must-haves for a hotel during summer is a pool. Very disappointing.

Avoid the property until their unannounced amenities maintenance is done. The pool is blocked off and not functioning. Same for the spa. Unfortunately we booked this hotel specifically for the amenities. The hotel refused to provide any form of refund for their false advertising, as their webpage nor Expedia’s mention the lack of access to the amenities. Major disappointment.

It took forever to get hot water for a shower the first day, then none the second day. Restaurant & lounge were closed for renovation. No one at the pool bar either. It would’ve been nice if they would tell you that when booking the reservation. I was taking my husband their for his birthday and planned to just relax there & not have to go out for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Nice place however the amenities fee is ridiculous. I was aware if a ‘resort’ fee of $25 per night. They do charge you tax on tip if that too. I found out this is for you standard hotel amenities like wifi, room cleaning, water and coffee in rooms, parking……even if you don’t use any of it. What a scam!!! Disappointed. Will not stay here again.

The beds are so soft, there is a $25 fee for, “security, WiFi, pool, workout room, and hot tub.” I had to skim the hair, bugs and slime from the hot tub and then found that the jets did not work. Carpets are filthy. The property appears to be failing.

This is a clean, no-frills hotel within a short drive to the historic area of Santa Fe and surrounding museums and attractions. The rooms are clean but dated in appearance and functionality. They are not well lit; even with every lamp and overhead light on, it was dim in the evenings. During my stay, the pool and laundry area were closed for renovation. I'd check with the property if these are important because they are listed as amenities. Overall, it was fine, especially since I was out and about most of the day and needed a comfortable, clean place to sleep.

The property is beautiful and will be very nice once all the upgrades are complete. The pool area is very dirty. The rooms are older and it is definitely time to replace the carpet because it has a moldy smell.

The room was a single king bed. Bed and sheets were good. One concern was two of the three bulbs in the restroom were burned out. Worse problem was there was black mold on the ceiling above the shower.

When new management takes over a crumbling hotel, it would be better for everyone if they shut down a few days. We appreciated the person at tge frobt desk who let us move out of the bad-smelling room we were given, but conditions in the next room were just as bad. The door jamb was nailed with finishing nails and fell off. The window locks were missing. Electric outlets did not work and were usually cracked. Tiles were loose. The hot tub was filthy. The room was infested with small ants. We had to get a room elsewhere at great expense.

Great location! In process of renovation. Our A/C didn’t work so it was pretty uncomfortable. An engineer was sent twice but he said that was as good as it gets. Access to the pool was also difficult. The last day they only supplied decaf coffee!! Best part was the Hilltop lounge!!

It was clean. The rooms were unnecessarily big and poorly lit. The air conditioner did not work well and was very loud when it did. Price per night was much higher than I would pay for a similar motel quality room.

Upon check-in we went to our room and I had asked for a rollaway bed which was listed available free of charge on Expedia. They told me they don't do rollaway beds due to fire hazards so they switched my room but it did not include the balcony which I had paid for. It also did not have a couch in it which my other room did therefore not making it feel like a suite that I paid for. The bathroom had as well. It is a beautiful location, and the beds were very comfortable.

It was okay. Nothing special. Room was spacious. It seemed dark and carpeting needed updated throughout the hotel. The dinning room was not open, but the bar was open. The view from the patio outside the bar was very nice. No real complaints.

We stayed 8/5-8/7 and felt that while the location of the hotel was beautiful and ideal with its proximity to all Santa Fe has to offer, our experience was mediocre given the price of the hotel. Having paid what I did for a suite with a balcony I had much higher expectations. We were hoping for a somewhat above average accommodations given that part of the reason for our stay was to relax in our room and at the hotel in general. To start with- I would have appreciated a heads up that the hotel would be torn apart for a complete remodel. When we pulled up there was not even a sign up, as they were replacing it, the dining was closed, there was furniture all over the parking lot, and even in the rooms things were not fully put together. The first room we were assigned had empty walls, as the decorations had already been removed for the remodel. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, nor did all the lights. The bathroom door did not shut properly. Additionally the bricks on the patio were lose and a huge trip hazard. We ended up having to switch rooms because when we returned after dinner the air conditioning was not working properly. The staff that helped us was very apologetic and helpful, but offered no compensation for having to pack up and move our things. However, we were given a room with less issues, but still not what I would have expected for the price. The new room had working lights, doors, and air conditioning and was still decorated. The “lodge” felt like more of a really upscale motel, which quite frankly I was fine with. It was clean, comfortable, and had really good value which is exactly what I wanted. Nice enough for a couples get away. Our room had a wood burning fireplace which gave it a really nice feel. I would stay here again, it was exactly what I thought I was getting.

The property is located on the hill just outside -10 min drive, of the downtown and the Plaza. So it’s quieter, with the mountain view. Has a large pool and a pool bar. The lobby area was under renovation when we arrived, but they fixed it right up. Overall, friendly, helpful staff, clean room. We enjoyed our stay in Santa Fe and the Lodge.

This hotel is located a 7 minute drive from downtown Santa Fe, so it is very convenient and a good value for the price. It is quiet and peaceful, very clean. The staff were very courteous, professional and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. I think they need to provide a hot breakfast for guests, but as you are quite close to downtown there is access to many places to eat. Only one complaint about the room: the bathroom toilets are too low to the floor. I am quite tall and it felt as though I were about to sit in one of my toddler's chairs. O

The pool and restaurant we closed which would have been nice to know before booking. It is obvious they are going through remodeling and room changes but again would have been nice to know up front. They did have a bar upstairs but the bartender was exceptionally rude, we left his rude service. Overall the location is nice and if all amenities weee available my outlook would be different
