We chose the hotel because it had a pool. The clerk told us that the pool and hot tub open 7am to 10 pm. However did not tell us it was closed for repairs.

We aleays stay here when coming to Wendover. The rooms are clean, service good, and breakfast is very good. This most rece t visit the pool was out of order. This inconvenience meant the spa/hot tub was filled with children so we were not able to relax. Our King bed was also uncomfortable and the pillows were very small. Lastly the room was u belie ably hot a d even with A/C on and a 25 degree night we were sweating.

We went with this hotel because it had a pool for our kids. The pool was closed the entire trip. The rooms had some things that need repaired, but they were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was convenient, but was just ok in quality.

I would never stay at this hotel. The bathroom was filthy, the bathtub had hair in it, I tried reaching out to a manager but they said they will have the manager call me. I’m still waiting. The water was cold when taking a shower. The ceiling of the bathroom was filthy that yellow stuff was dripping in the tub. I paid for a place to sleep and take a shower and unfortunately if I knew the conditions were going to be that I wouldn’t have stayed there. I would rather deal with the noise at the casino than stay there. The only thing that was ok was the breakfast.. I would like a refund, that was not worth $277 stay.

The people in the room above us were making banging noises until 3am. It sounded like they were pounding on the floor. We called the front desk 3 times, but it didn't stop. Our room was vibrating it was so loud. When we got home, we had 11 bed bug bites. I called the hotel, and they denied having them. They refused to refund our one night at the hotel when Expedia called them to approve the refund. There were people partying in the parking lot as well, which no one did anything about. We had a horrible night and a horrible stay. Beware.

Unfortunately we checked out 1 day early due to finding bed bugs in our room. When i let the front desk know all she said was she would let housekeeping know. When asked to change rooms she said none where available.

There was blood on the bed in room 123 first floor. We shouldn’t have to tear apart the bed and inspect it. We noticed it when we were leaving the next morning. How disgusting is that. We told the front desk during checkout but they said we have to go through hotels/expedia to get any type of compensation. Video below

This location is perfect for our needs. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean (no sign of dog hair like some places), parking included, and just a short walk or drive to the casino. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a first for me and NOT in a good way. Room was dirty. Peoples trash under the bed (hidden under the bed skirt). We got to the room and our small dogs came up to us with a cough drop and piece of gum in their mouths. Turns out, there was trash under the beds! Not only cough drops and gum, but q-tips, 5 socks, and empty water bottles. Absolutely disgusting to have others people's trash in our room. Inexcusable. Makes you wonder how clean everything else is. Had a hard time sleeping thinking about how dirty it might really be but can’t see on the dark carpet, etc. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning!

The room hadn’t been cleaned from the day before. We have a small dog and we found some prescription drug on the floor she could have eaten and died. We also found a toy under the bed that was obviously still there from a fully different previous stay. We found body hair in the bed before we got in. We found all sorts of other debris on the floor. The hotel then tried to move us to another room that was also not clean, had body hair in the bed, and smelled of cheap cologne heavily. Neither of these rooms had been cleaned at all.

Everything has been good, although there are no microwaves in the room, only 1 is in the breakfast room. Tv remote doesn’t work and neither does the phone. But overall it’s fairly nice and very clean.

Noisy. Loud. Worst sound proofing ever. Pipes when water runs or toilet flushes anywhere near room is very loud. People above us just walking made our room shake. Could hear the crying and coughing baby all night long (poor baby and parents)

Check in took quite a while because there was one person working at the desk who prioritized a phone call over me standing in the lobby. Also, the shower head fell off when we tried to use it, so we were unable to use the shower! We did report to the front desk.

Not a great area for walking around, going to restaurants or anything other than going to casinos I guess. Outside our window was a wooden fence and boulders/land above the fence. Felt like the hotel was down in the bottom of a hole surrounded by car lots and high metal fencing. Room was clean and everything was fine but nit deserving such a high customer rating. Breakfast was good. AC wall unit made our room either freezing cold or hot stuffy when it turned off.

As soon as I got to the room, the refrigerator wasn’t working. I tried to use the phone to call the front desk and that was also broken. I used my cell to call the front desk. The gentleman was very helpful and immediately came up, did something to the fridge, and I’m waiting to see if it works. He offered a new room but I’m tired from traveling all day and declined. So far the service is great but the room needs help.

Pro’s: Good breakfast, lots of hot water with great water pressure and very clean. Con’s: I could hear the people in the room above me from 12am-2am walking around in their room. Huge inconvenience when trying to sleep on a long road trip. Fitness center locked until asked to be opened at 6am, if you’re an early riser and enjoy a workout while traveling this may not be the best option. Staff at checkout more interested in what was playing in her EarPod than being helpful.

Roberto did an exceptional job with checking us in promptly and accommodating us with the ground level room that we needed. The facility is very clean and it doesn’t have the smoke odor that you smell when in the casinos! We’ll definitely be back.

When we checked in staff did not make us aware that there would be an additional pet fee and only became aware of the charge when it appeared on my credit card statement. The hotel can not charge a credit card without authorization or sharing charges up front. In addition, when we checked in they gave us a room key for a room that was already occupied. When we entered the room we were surprised that there were already occupants. This was rather concerning. Since the hotel was sold out it took some time to get a new room sorted. We were incredibly patient with the staff, as we understand that mistakes happen. However in contacting the hotel after the fact, they argumentative and would not take accountability for their oversight. I would not stay here again.

I wasn’t sure about a property out in the middle of nowhere, but Best Western Plus Wendover was really nice. Rooms were clean and updated. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Lobby was welcoming and pleasant to sit in. A nice touch is the latte/espresso machine tucked in the corner of the lobby. The hotel is only a 5 minute drive to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Wendover is on the state line - cross over (about a block from Best Western) to Nevada and there are a bunch of casinos

Great deal, clean and close to food and casinos (if that’s your thing). Can’t say the surroundings are stellar, but safe and close to the freeway without being loud or trafficked. Will stay again as we pass through.

Short stay…. Only a few hours for much needed sleep but service was excellent, room was clean and comfortable and the free breakfast was a happy surprise. Pet friendly and easy to get to. Would definitely recommend.

Very great time here, just a few things that could have made it better. The conditioner wouldn't come out in the shower. The breakfast was super slow with the one waffle maker and a little unorganized buffet, also very small area with only a few tables.
