Motel 6 Wendover

This motel is a little run down on the outside but our room, while basic, was very clean. There is ample parking and the property is well lit. Because our room was in the back we had noise from the freeway. The price is very reasonable and we were impressed that pets stay for free.

The room was exactly worth what i paid for 66.oo.there was no hair dryer.. coffee machine refrigerator.microwave as in the decription...the pool was not clean broken pool chairs both of them there was only 2. Restraunt across the st was great.

Simple and clean basic accommodations at a reasonable price. Pool was sparkling clean and desk agent was friendly and efficient.

It qas clean and quiet. Pool was wonderful. Kind and friendly. Great price. I would suggest nee mattress.

Thè pool was out of service and drained in mid June. I was expecting to be able to swim since I paid for a place with a pool. It was a false listing. The privacy bolt on the door to the room was missing. The door was not sealed and I coikd see outside. It was dirty. And there was a crack pipe in the parking lot.

Samuel on check in, very personable with a smile. Gerado on check out friendly. Loved pets ok and no fee. Room had plenty of space for us and pets.

Just a quick overnight stay. No frills, but overall clean, simple, basic. Only issue was a stain (looked like the color of Turmeric) high on a wall outside the bathroom. Not sure how or why it was not fixed as the rest of the room was quite clean and looked newly conditioned. Really liked that I w=could have my dog for free. Wish this place had more places to walk the dog, but for the price it was not expected.

Parking is always best when I can park right outside my room like I can here. The room was quiet despite a storm going on outside. The room was also clean, and looked remodeled. The water never got hot but it did get warm in the shower. A/C worked great. Staff was wonderful. There were a couple holes in the bedspread that looked like cigarette burns despite my room being a non-smoking and wash clothes are fairly thin. Overall a great stay for a the price.

First, went to check in and the check in area smelled in what I can only describe as very sour. No one was there to check us in. We waited for many minutes. Still no one! We left to find a restroom because we had been driving for a long time. Went back a second time....still no one to check us in. We even went to the room next to the check in and knocked with no answer. We were now thinking something might be wrong so we tried calling the local Wendover police to do a welfare check. Their office is closed on weekends. Called the Motel 6 number and finally someone answered and said they were there. We know they hadn't been for at least 20 to 30 minutes. We had reserved a accessible room as we have someone with severe heart issues and limited mobility issues that needs to sit while showering. We went back to check in we were given a regular room. When we told the clerk that we had reserved an accessible room he said not available. There were maybe 6 or 7 vehicles in the entire parking lot. The room was dirty, smelled and looked like the bedspread had been soiled by some kind of liquid. I understand this is a motel and not a hotel and we have stayed at this property multiple times over the years....without an issue. In the future we will be trying other properties for our overnight stays.

The walls were covered in stains. No electric socket covers. Bed spreads looked dirty and burn holes all over them.

Clean and quite

This whole place was dirty. The walls, the floors, the shower, everything. Just gross!

I planned this stay over, relying on the reviews. I saw on the Expedia website when I arrived. The place was really rundown, and I was immediately accosted by flies entering the room. I decided to try it, and I checked in within a short time I realized after having killed nine flies and various smells that I could not spend the night there I checked out at about 6:30 PM and rented another room I would like to be refunded and I encourage Expedia to be more mindful of false reviews that skew travelers plans

This motel is just not bri well maintained. The walls are dirty, EVERYTHING needs a good cleaning. I would never stay here again.

The rating on Expedia was way too high. Conditions were poor. There was only one outlet in room that was too far away to plug in cpap or any devices. Room had no shampoo, fridge or coffee maker. Feet were dirty after walking on floor.

They have bed bugs! I would like a refund

Parking was safe, room was clean, very few charging outlets and the TV signal kept going out on Sunday night football.

Fine for a quick inexpensive one night stay in Wendover after a concert. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable (felt every spring and soooo noisy when rolling over!) and I would not have wanted a second night. One night was more than enough!

The only thing I didn’t like is the lack of open outlets. I had plug my phone into the bathroom one.

This property was cheap, we needed a place to stay for the night while traveling. It is clean. Noisy, people screaming and yelling at 2AM. This went on for quite a while. Little kids up at that time running and chasing each other. No fridge or microwave.

Room was ok. There were 6 cars in the lot when I left at 5am. Why they grouped is all in one building I don’t know. Had to listen to the room above me watch tv most of the night because the walls and flooring is thin. For the price it’s ok.

The WIFI was unreliable and rather slow. On a trip I usually plug my ROKU in so I can watch what I like. While the TV had connectors, the remote would not allow me to switch the input source. The metal door for our room was metal, it and the handle were extremely hot in the afternoon. The A/C came on about every 10 minutes all through the night.

It was clean. But.... only half the light bulbs worked. The mattress was horrible - maybe a broken box spring. No way to charge my phone unless I left it on the floor by the door with the only plug I could find. The price was 65.00 and the casino down the way was 280. worth it? If the mattress was better- I didn't sleep very well.-so no.

The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the people in the rooms next to you. Literally everything they say at normal talking levels. Since it’s near casinos, anticipate your neighbors keeping late nights. The mattress padding, also paper thin. When you lay on the mattress, you can feel the springs. It’s not just bad because it’s a motel 6, it’s bad for a motel 6. If you can spring $40 more for a better hotel nearby, skip this one.

Motel Lobby had an awful smell. Very old property. Bed dank down 6 or so inches when sat in. Very uncomfortable. Only one, yes one outlet in the room and anything that was plugged in had to be left on the floor because it was near front door/floor. Shower was so small I barely fit and I’m only 5’4” 140 lbs. TV had maybe 3 channels that actually came in and when I asked the front desk all they could say was “yea. I’m sorry “ Would not recommend….

Man at the front desk was very kind. Had an issue with the hot water in our room and he immediately changed us to a better room. Great customer service and budget friendly.

The Asian at the front desk was rude, disrespectful and racist. The AC was poor! The TV had 5 channels. Warm water, not hot! I would not recommend hotel 6, in West Wendover Nevada.

The property is a pretty average Motel 6. It was close to convenient food, casino, and Salt Flats. We stayed 1 night, it was quiet and the room was comfortable & clean, the staff was friendly. My only complaint is the area feels a little scetchy & neglected, but we didn't have any problems.

It has been a very peaceful stay for us. They were really accomodating and helpful. Room was good. Great location.

Quiet. Clean. About a 10 min walk to the casinos. Not bad.

Building is a little run down, but considering the location in the older part of town, not too bad. Was a little concerned about security as I have a brand new truck. Signs in parking area warned against leaving anything of value in the vehicle. For as outdated as the building is, the room had been updated with newer bathroom and overall was very clean.

Wendover is an area obviously in decline. The speedway museum is indefinitely closed leaving only the historic airfield as a point of interest or the casinos that sit on the Utah-Nevada state line. Most visitors come to gamble. Restaurants outside the casinos are limited. The motel does it best in the circumstances.

My stay there was quite nice, everything was as advertised. My room was as expected nice and clean. Coffee in the morning, ice available, nice quiet area.

No coffee available at checkin or in rooms. No microwave. Overpriced for bare essentials. No Kleenex. No conditioner. No lotion.

Was ok for couple nights, nice bed, AC worked good. WiFi was slow, tv had interference on & off making screen hard to see at times. Plenty of eating & gas around. But octane for gas was different than back east. No breakfast only coffee. Staff was friendly.

VERY noisy. Sounds from inside and outside. No sound insulation. People talking, late arrivals, train, setting car alarms, toilet/water running from another unit. Smoke smells. One lamp didn't work. Only 1 ice machine far away. Shower knob grimy. Very thin towels. Motel 6 so no shampoo, only bar soap; no fridge. Small microwave in office only.

The hotel was easy to access and close to several casinos with restaurants. There was coffee and hot water in the lobby in the morning. The bathrooms were clean. Our bedside lamp was not plugged in. The bed was sort of indented in the middle.
