I am 80. we stay here because the hotel is next to the Tesla Supercharger. Twice, once on a previous trip, the elevator has been broken. This time some very helpful maintenance guys helped us with our bags. The receptionist said the elevator is often out of order. Since this is one of the more expensive hotels in Winnemuacca, this is inexcusable . The recent renovation is nice.

They had a great free morning continental breakfast, but the rest of the facility was pretty rundown, our bathroom curtain wouldn’t even stay up, there were holes in the sheet rock in our bathroom, the carpet was pretty dirty in places, and we found a giant dead spider in the bottom of the pool.

I was surprised when I arrived to find the hotel under construction. I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool. Well it was freezing cold and the hot tub was out of order.

Indoor pool is not heated; my kids were freezing. Hotel under construction so gym was not available and there was no hot tub. Extremely noisy neighbors who kept us up all night/morning. For $300 a night-I would never go back.

While I understand renovations are necessary, i have to say that i was surprised this was not made known. The pool is cold, hot tub is on-existent, and the gym is closed, and yet I wasn’t even offered a discount. I hope they at least have good breakfast and coffee.

Massive room, clean, friendly staff. They’re doing upgrades so there’s that kind of stuff goin on. Pool was nice, hot tub was closed but they had parts on order. Would stay again.

The room was very clean. The pillows were amazingly comfortable. We decided to stay here because of the jacuzzi but it had been removed. The website needs to be updated as well as the current SPA signs on the wall.

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Biggest issue was it shares a wall a casino that wasn’t shared on the listing and made the lobby and most of the hallways smell like cigarette smoke and was noisy.

Upon entering our room, the first thing i see is a filthy toilet base. It set the expectations immediately. The front desk only iffered to let tge manager know. It was unacceptable. The dog area was a small patch of gravel adjacent to the hotel which was completely covered with dog feces. Management really needs to get a hold of the property cleanliness or they won't last.

Stayed here twice in same room. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed 2nd time & Strong smell of disinfectant throughout room. Door doesn’t close properly off bedroom & 1 of the shower soap pumps is partially broken. Stairwell steps have remnants of dried mud/dust clumps that have remained for a week. I realize this is out in the middle of the NV desert & contruction / machinist guys seem to be the predominant clientele at this moment but I would expect more regardless. Free breakfast ok; biscuit best option . The good news are the staff & the adjoining Mexican restaurant inside the casino space. The meals are giganto size, so consider this when ordering.

Kinda dirty (tub needs to be fixed, hair ball in corner missed during cleaning). Lots of broken stuff (no drain stop for tub, door barely works, one of the outside doors to get in hotel didn’t work, no cord for phone and had to use cell phone). Loud Spanish music. Walls are super thin, could hear tv from next door and alarm going off (had to call front desk).

As noted by my stars, the property was conveniently located and clean. In addition, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was varied enough that almost everyone would be able to get something. As to things to consider, the walls between the rooms are not well insulated, if at all. We coud here complete conversations in the room next to us. To make it worse, they arrived late and were up early (full of energy on both ends). Try to get a room that does not have windows that open to the main street. The semis start driving thru around 4 am and its a caravan. Very noisy!! All of that aside, we would stay there again as the staff is helpful, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. Oh, best of all, the Mexican Restaurant, Dos Amigos, attached to the hotel is the best in town (aka my brother who is a 30 year Winnemucca resident.) The food and service was Excellent.

We had a very pleasant stay. The only hiccups was the sound of footsteps coming from the room anove us. We've never had a problem with that before and it may have been the rooms location in the building. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Late check in at midnight. Sign on desk to call number to get service. The check in person did not smile. When he returned me ID and CC he just tossed them on the counter one by one. Took more effort than just to to hand them to me. Never told me check out time or that there was breakfast. Not a good check in experience.

I booked 6 room for a trip with 12 friends and reserved everything on my credit card. The Holiday Inn Express accepted everyone's individual credit cards for payment and charged them for the 1-night stay. They also charged my card $198/night for each of the 6 rooms. Upon calling to resolve the issue, the manager could not provide a legitimate explanation and said she would research it and get back to me. Two days later, I phoned the hotel again, and am once again waiting for a return call. I have $1200 in charges that should be reversed (should never have occurred in the first place) and I have been placed on the bottom of the Holiday Inn's priority list. Because of this, I would not recommend staying there, despite it being a nice hotel. Their accounting system and customer service is less than acceptable.

I made a reservation for a king suite on January 6, 2025 because my boys had a wrestling tournament in Winnemucca. This is our 14th year coming to this tournament and staying at this hotel. When we got there yesterday afternoon I was told that they had given my room away. No explanation. I would receive a $40 credit on a standard king room. For FOUR people. Totally ridiculous. The kid tried but failed. The pool is disgusting. Breakfast unappetizing. We will never be back.

I was amazed in that the computer and the printer actually worked...and they had paper in the unit. I travel ALL the time. Believe me!! This that I found at the HI was perfect. Also, the lady at the front desk(Cindy) was perfect. Very willing to help.

Booked a room with 2 Queen beds, received our room keys and got to our room to find it was a 1 bed. Front desk informed me that was the last room they had available and did not have any roll away beds. Super frustrating. Offered a $30 discount which was also super frustrating- that we never received. Our refrigerator did not work. Glad it was just the one night stay.

I can’t believe this hotel has received positive reviews! It was shocking to pull up and see an attached casino. The lobby was clean but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Our room was on the third floor overlooking the parking lot which had very bright lights above it. They were shining into our room ALL NIGHT LONG even with the blackout shades in place. They were so bright, my kids woke us up multiple times thinking it was breakfast time. The beds were adequate but the bathroom was so horribly renovated. The door frame had many rusting spots, the door handle hung down and was very hard to open, and the door itself had a large deteriorating spot on it that was painted over!!!!! The floor tile was falling apart, tub spout wasn’t even connected to the shower wall?? Insane that this was such an expensive hotel for the area. Not even worth $100 per night. The breakfast had many options but not much that was actually edible. Overall a very bad experience and I’ll never stay there again.
