Staff checking inn was friendly and very helpful, showed every person a map of exactly where their room would be. Free breakfast was decent. Free parking. Room was small but good enough for what we needed. Good location.

Seems weird that no where on the listing did it state that there were no elevators. I have bad knees and it is painful to carry baggage up and down steps. I know why the operator would not list that fact, but it would have cost them my rental if I had known.

Likes: It was pet friendly, without additional pet fees like many places charge. Breakfast was also included, and it was quite good. Air conditioner was quiet and made for a better night's sleep. Dislikes: We were in a first-floor unit and the window locks were broken with no way to secure the room from the outside. There were no Bibles in the room.

There was a heavy disinfectant smell and everything in the room seemed like it had been sprayed; even the bed??? There were little flying bugs. The toilet moved when you sat on it 😵‍💫 All staff were very friendly

This was a wonderful and reasonably priced stopover, after we attended a Bills game. The staff were very friendly. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, and beds comfortable. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choices. The hotel location is right off the Batavia exit for the NYS thruway, which is so convenient!

Definitely not rated accurately! The woman at the check-in desk was clearly annoyed by having to check me in, although it wasn’t busy or late. Rooms were dirty, overwhelming smell of “cleaning solution”, and super humid in the room when the air conditioning was on. I never like to leave bad reviews but YIKES.

This is a good budget choice, but it feels budget. My first and main complaint is that my room smelled really really strongly of bleach when I got in - so I felt confident that stuff was clean, but boy did it burn my nose. Luckily, I had a concert to go to and was able to leave the a/c on blast for a few hours so the bleach smell was bearable when I needed to sleep. My second complaint is that the breakfast service ends too early and the staff made it very clear they wanted people gone the second that breakfast was over. I would have appreciated a 10-15 minute grace period for those of us who are late risers. However the breakfast hours were clearly communicated in advance and they were entitled to follow them to the letter, it's just that a little extra leeway would have made me feel welcome rather than like I was imposing. So it was as expected for the price relative to other places in the vicinity. No nasty surprises but no pleasant ones either.

King superior room was one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve been in so not sure why it’s labeled superior. The bathroom is also very small. Maybe it can fit a small toiletry bag on sink counter. I liked the laminate flooring throughout the room. Sheets were clean. Bed was a little soft and towels were tiny. Our room was in the back and the turnpike noise along with the paper thin walls kept me up most the night even after driving for hours! Breakfast was a plus and descent. Assorted muffins, white or wheat bread with toaster. Scrambled eggs, sausage and a waffle maker. Asst juices, fruit, cereal coffee and tea. Most items are great value Walmart brand. Kitchen attendant was awesome cleaning and filling the stations. Free parking in large lot. Construction next hotel over in same parking lot.

I was pleased to see how upgraded the lobby was, starting with the automatic doors. My dog and I had a second-story room with a grassy-knoll view that she loved. Equipped with fridge and microwave, I had what we needed, but it was so tight in there that I couldn't see the TV from the desk which is set up facing the wall. Other than that, it was comfy, enjoyable, and a welcome resting spot for our long trek toward home. We always love Batavia.

I love the location for staying in Batavia. My biggest plus is the hotel being so dog friendly. My room was extremely tight and small, though, especially the bathroom.

Check-in took about 30 seconds, the room was clean and spacious. It appears that the entire hotel has been upgraded and they’ve done a very nice job. The staff were all friendly and cheerful. The only complaints were that the elevator was out of service, and a chirping smoke detector in the hallway continued all night, even though earlier we twice asked to have it looked at. Overall, it was a very nice stay for the money. Just beware that if you have pet allergies, it might not be for you. Although they claim that special cleaning protocol is in place in rooms where pets have stayed, I woke up sneezing my head off, which never happens to me. I’m sure was due to lingering cat hair.

We had some trouble the first night with the front desk being a bit rude. It had me worried that it was going to be like that the whole way through, but every interaction with other employees after that point was great. Our experience did have some hiccups, but the compassionate and warm demeanor of the employees helped ease away that stress. The rooms had light cosmetic damage throughout, which is to be expected in a hotel that allows dogs. There also appears to have been remodels that were done hastily on the rooms at some point. Everything was clean, comfortable, and functional, though. So I don't see it as much to complain about. The location itself is what you'd expect from an inn in a small town. A lot of department stores are nearby despite this, and it was 30 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go, no matter the direction. While you can find nicer hotels, this one is a reliable one with [most of] the staff being the friendly difference that I think is a harder pressed thing to find.

This was a wonderful and reasonably priced stopover, after we attended a Bills game. The staff were very friendly. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, and beds comfortable. The hot complimentary breakfast was amazing! A lot of other hotels only offer muffins and cereal, the breakfast we were offered filled up the kids and myself before a long trip back home. Room was clean and had a mini fridge and microwave, perfect for keeping our drinks cold without needing to keep them in a cooler and warming up leftover food to save a little money on dining out. Beds were soooo comfy! Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the front desk staff was super friendly. Will definitely come back to this hotel next time we come through, and will make sure to find red roof inns when we travel elsewhere.

The room was very clean. Halls and stairwells were so-so. 2 twin beds and not much space to move around. Breakfast was standard but hot and plentiful. It was just an overnight stop and served its purpose. I would stay here again.
