Check-in was easy. The gentleman who checked is in on 7/4 at about 4:30pm was really great through out our stay. Very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was good. Hot food along with cold breakfast options were available. My children enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The cook at the bar recommended great food places to check out

Location was great, no ice machines-have to go to the bar to get ice. Great staff-bartenders and lady that cleaned the halls in the evening. Bed and pillows are average, breakfast was fine, coffee was boring-1 flavor and only plain creamer, glad room had freezer compartment, thought all rooms had the full kitchen space and couch but did not. Friendly staff was the best part for me

The property is very old which is fine, especially for what you get. But the hotel seemed horribly understaffed. The decor is horrible. The bartender Noah was great. Its located conveniently to what we needed it to be close to. However, my mom slipped on the extremely slippery wet tile around the hot tub and hurt herself badly. There were no signs indicating tbat the are was very slippery, and I had to take it upon myself to put towels down so that others didnt do the same. Additinally, once staff was informed of the situation, they didnt give off the impression of being terribly concerned about it. And no one from managament reached out. We were not offered any sort of assurance that the issue would be fixed in the future, neither were we offered any sort of compensation or any offers to offset any inconvenience or pain suffered. There was no offer of atonement or attempt to rectify anything. My mother is 71 years old and could have and may still be seriously injured. I wasnt impressed.

After a long day driving the Hyatt House had everything we needed to relax and refresh. The noon check out allowed for a leisurely breakfast (which was great) exercise in their fitness area and recharge before heading out again.

The pool area is extremely unsafe. My 6 year old daughter who understands pool safety and not running around the pool area slipped and required stitches. We filed an incident report. Nothing ever came of it so they obviously do not care. It seems slippery pool floor is a constant complaint. When we told the front desk lady she didn’t seem to bat an eye other. Very strange. Much nicer hotels in the area with much safer pool area.

The staff was very friendly. Hot top and pool were a little outdated but the temperature was good. The guy at the bar was very friendly. Unfortunately, the bar and entrance area smelled of old grease from 4.30pm.

Bathroom and bedroom could have been cleaner. Wooden pieces of furniture dated and very dusty. Cabinet the fridge was in had moldy wood in it. Shower stall had mold. First and last time I stay at a Hyatt hotel.

The room was spacious and comfortable enough for a family of four. Upon entry, room had an off putting smell. The room could’ve been cleaned better. Pull out couch was unclean with chip bags and crumbs left in it. Although we were able to call for quick delivery of new sheets it was quite gross to find cheese doodles and empty bags in the pull out couch.

Our stay here was absolutely horrible and our trip to New York was ruined because this horrible stay at Hyatt House. From our arrival on Sunday we were put in a room that was completely unclean ( urine & feces on the toilet and walls, pubic hair over the sink and throughout the room, food splatter and other matter on the walls and doors, bathroom sink backing up). We were moved twice. The final room we stayed in had the same problems as the first room and then some. The final room also had issues with the toilet not working properly. The Chief Engineer, General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Operations Manager were all informed of this and tge rest of the issues. Well, nothing was done and the toilet backed up and flooded the second bedroom suite. We had to stay in this room being exposed to toxic toilet water and mildew from the wet carpet. In addition, the water was shut off for 2 days denying us access to running water. I requested a full refund based on the fact that our rights to reasonable safety and comfort during our stay was taken away from us. I am still requesting a full refund from Expedia/Hyatt House. I will be filing a formal complaint with the New York State Attorney and FTC Consumer Protection Bureau.

The property was fine. Our room was old and could use some maintenance/upkeep. The room was generally clean (although they forgot to empty prior guests’ trash) and spacious though, the shower was hot and the toilet worked properly. The lobby was much of the same story although i would say there could be a bit more effort to keep hallways clean. We arrived around 6 pm and there was a lot of rubbish and food in the hallway. That was still there when we left at 8 am the next morning. All in all it was an ok experience.

Full-size fridge/freezer was a plus, with a sink in the kitchen and a two-burner stovetop. Nice king bed, but the hideaway mattress in the couch was thin, so not a place for an adult to sleep. Nice shower, and good water pressure. Comfortable couch, and two t.v.'s provides added flexibility for resting entertainment. HVAC was really good!

rooms are definitely showing there age. Alot of touchup is needed. Some stuff in disrepair, but detail stuff not major things. Food at breakfast buffet was bland but selection was good. Bed was terrible mattress needs attention.

I stayed 1 night. Pricing was reasonable. My room, 429, had a continuous sound that almost sounded like someone snoring next door. But it was from something mechanical and was there throughout the stay. Bed was comfortable, and the room very clean, but that sound annoying. Self serve breakfast was average. The toaster was inadequate and broken with only one half of the 4 slice toaster working. Most of the tables were ridiculously short and seemed best suited for kids. I’ve stayed at the Hyatt Place just a few miles north on South Rd and it is far nicer.

I arrived at the hotel after a 2 hour drive to find out that they had canceled my reservation due to an HVAC issue. I didn't have a problem with the HVAC issue I have a problem with the lack of communication. I received no prior notice about the need to cancel.

When we arrived it was a little past check in time and the room still wasn’t ready, we had to wait an additional half hour in the cafe area. I had to go up to the desk to ask if the room was ready and the young man had forgotten that we were waiting. Some of the tiles in bathroom were loose but not dangerous, but the shower wouldn’t drain. I told this to lady when we checked out and she did take $75.00 off the room which I appreciated! The breakfast buffet was delicious and all the staff were very nice and friendly!

To be honest the bartender went above and beyond to help us out during out late check in. The front desk hostess was no where to be found. I waiting for the better part of 10-15min at the front desk before I went to the bar area for assistance. The bartender went out of her way to help us. Another 5 min passed until the front desk assiatant showed. The front desk attendant disnt explain anything to us as she finished our check in. Never told us when check out was or what time breakfast was served. She just handed us our keys didnt even direct us to where the elevator was. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied. However your bartender amazingly kind and helpful!

We needed a room for four, and we paid for a king suit, which had a king sized bed and a sofa bed for our kids to share. The room didn’t have any bedding on the pullout, and it only had two towels. When we called to ask for pillows and bedding for the pullout, first they couldn’t find pillows, and the blanket was so thin that my kids were freezing. Since getting the bedding at all was such a pain (attendant said they could t find pillows, but why not get them from one of the unbooked rooms? There were plenty), we only called down a few times. Never got the towels, kids had to sleep in their clothes. It seemed the attendant was young and handling things on her own, but not being able to get us enough bedding made for a crappy night. If you’re going to charge for a larger room, make sure it’s equipped so that everyone can be comfortable.

The customer service agent at the front did her best to attend to my every need. It was a staycation for me thus I needed an area wherein I could work quietly. She assisted me in finding the business center, which was exactly what I needed. In addition, on my second night requested a room that was not connected to another room. She arranged for me to have access to all the hotel's amenities while my room was changed. The customer service I received was first-class.

While the stay was ok, the thermostat in the room didn't work properly so the room was very cold all night and the fan did not go off. Furthermore I was double charged through orbitz and the hotel and am still trying to get my money back. The hotel staff has been less than helpful and management refuses to speak to me

I found this to have just about everything you would need within walking distance or a short drive. My room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and professional and it allowed me to setup work during my stay while providing me a great start to my day (Coffee and Breakfast). Was approx 10min from Beacon Train Station. Great location and plan to stay here again when the opportunity arises agan.

The area in general was a great place to stay at. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Drivable short distance to do family activities. The staff were great with accommodations and helping us with getting around and exploring. Will definitely come back here

It could be cleaner. It was surface clean (counters, towels, sheets), but the things that people don’t usually touch were pretty dusty (bottom of the door, the Bible in the drawer, shower grout). The room had what we needed including a fridge. It was really nice that the bathroom actually had a fan, which I don’t normally see when I travel. Climate control worked great. The breakfast was really good. The eggs were cooked the best I’ve had a hotel breakfast. The French toast was a nice treat. There was a woman working the breakfast area and she was also so nice and on top of things. I stayed here for one night and it was everything I needed at a convenient location.
