Baymont by Wyndham Henrietta - Rochester

Most of the things were in good condition. However, there were some deficiencies. Soap was not on the bathroom sink, Refrigerator was not working and having no shelves, room air conditioner was dirty, windows were not clean and not having mosquito net.

The stay was disappointing from the start. Our first-floor room had a window that did not lock, so we had to move rooms. The replacement room still had issues: a leaking toilet, a room that felt dirty, and walls and doors in need of repair. The shower soap dispenser was empty, and we were told the hotel was out with no refills available. The Wi-Fi was also weak and unreliable, making it difficult for us to work remotely. We ultimately decided to check out early because of the overall condition of the hotel. The night before, I explained this to the front desk agent, who told me it would be no problem. The next morning, Angel, the assistant manager, said the desk agent had given me incorrect information and insisted on charging us a higher “market rate” for the two nights we stayed because we shortened our reservation. I understand paying for the nights we stayed, but there was no meaningful acknowledgment of the issues that caused us to leave early. The focus was on maximizing the rate for those two nights rather than addressing an unacceptable guest experience. I would not stay here again. I had another reservation here for October, but after this experience, I canceled it and booked elsewhere.

Quiet and clean no issues in the hotel. Breakfast was a nice bonus

One of the worst hotel/motel experiences of my life. Bugs in room. Floor was dirty. Sink missing a drain cover. Laundry room on second floor and not accessible to some on using a Cain. Recommend spending a few dollars more and stay somewhere else. It appears they a remodeling but they still have a long way to go.
