We had a good stay here and I’d stay again. Great location and very friendly staff! There are a few bugs they could easily address. Internet service was SLOW way too slow. No coffee in the room. That’s not ok. Ever. Bar/lounge didn’t open until 5 Sunday. Didn’t seem like anywhere to get a coke or coffee. Seemed weird.

Super hotel & staff. Decided to upgrade to park view. BIG downside is the ripoff ‘facility charge’ they charge locally. $30 per night for ‘bundled’ access to WiFi, the gym and water in the reception area. Lots of negative commentary online about this. NYC authorities should intervene - it is a blatant money grab! Otherwise, a brilliant hotel.

The room was recently renovated and beautifully appointed. The staff is so accommodating. Shout out to Jo at the front desk! They offer valet service for which is such a great perk. The Holiday village in the Bryant park will be open soon. It’s directly across the street and is so fun!

Great hotel in a great location. When a hotel-wide, temporary plumbing problem affecting water supply threatened our time at the hotel, the staff stepped up and was both highly professional and completely empathetic. Exactly what I would want from from a first class hotel.

The hotel offered a wonderful and large suite with a great view of Bryant Park. The staff were very helpful and professional. The room had a comfortable couch, stacked bar with snacks, and a nice comfortable bed. The room was quiet and comfortable. There is no in-room coffee of tea, but coffee, tea, and muffins are in the lobby from 7 - 10am, so very convenient. The hotel restaurant, Koi, also has a great dinner. It’s my new favorite hotel in NYC.

Wonderful location right across from Bryant Park. Great middle ground from Times Square, tons of shopping and dining options. Not far from Moynihan Terminal (walk a few blocks). Staff was great. 15th floor room was of average size. Nice sized bathroom with shower and tub. Under the bed was dusty; one wall had a smeared booger on it; bathroom had a blood splatter spot (hence the 3 star).

Hotel rooms were recently updated. Our room was very pleasant, spacious, fresh and modern. Hotel staff are very helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent, close to many sights, shopping and museums. We will definitely return on our next visit to the city.

The rooms were like dorm rooms. Very small, very sterile, not even any artwork. Also, while conveniently located it was very loud. I was on the 17th floor and could still hear street noise.

I had upgraded my room to a queen with soaking tub and in the picture the window showed greenery. When I got to my room, I was facing a wall about 10 feet away with scaffolding between the brick wall and my room window.I was alerted by a letter in the room that there could be construction noise. I saw the letter after unpacking. At that point it wasn’t worth going down to the front desk to see if I could get the room changed. I kept the blinds down the whole time I stayed. It felt like I was locked in and had safety concern having scaffolding right outside my window.I won’t be recommending this property or coming back.

Loved this hotel. We were upgraded and had a beautiful room with a view of Bryant park. Everything was perfect. Giant bathtub, huge shower, really comfortable bed, fridge, safe, warm, soft bathrobes. Also, coffee (good!) and mini muffins in the morning. I would absolutely stay there again.

My 2nd stay here and 2nd time issue with water temperature in shower and sink. Water never got warm in either, cold everyday. They had someone come up to fix it but it wasn't fixed. Jo at the front desk was very kind and felt bad I could see. My bill was reduced by $200 but I won't be coming back in future. It's not acceptable to deal with this issue at this level of a hotel.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay at this hotel. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism. The staff at the Bryant Park are always amazing. We have stayed there twice and had the same fabulous service both times. The location can’t be beat. Central to Midtown Manhattan in easy walking distance to the Theatre District but away from the crazy of Times Square.

1. I booked the hotel online, paid fully, but spent nearly a hour trying to check in. Because my credit card isn't with me, they refuse to take me in even though I offered cash for the deposit. No matter what I say, She wouldn't help me, asking me to leave the hotel and find other options. It was 10pm and I was every frustrated. I asked to speak with her manager, and she said she is the manager. 2. There is a hidden fee I never encountered with any other hotel in New York. And the staff wouldn't even try to explain what it is. 3. The hotel itself is convenient with its location near Bryant park, but the staff and overall experience with their service is really bad.

I had checked into another hotel that was very tired, I went to their front desk and told them I could not stay there. I went to Expedia to find something for two nights near Bryant Park. I hit the jackpot, I found a room at the Bryant Park Hotel and they helped me find a room for two other colleagues who were supposed to stay at the tired hotel I had left. Scott, JO, and Rex were wonderful. They worked hard to get all of us taken care of and their thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. I will stay at the Bryant Park Hotel every time I am in NYC. Thank you so much for your wonderful customer service and kindness BPH!!!!

Love this hotel. It’s becoming our go-to hotel when we want to be in mid-town. Not much of a lobby, but who cares. The staff is wonderful (Shannon at the front desk especially) valet parking is super easy (although pricey at ~$80), and we just tried their restaurant Koi for dinner and it was amazing. Their host (her name is Diamond - and she is a gem!) was wonderful and so were all of their recommendations.

Quick weekend trip into NYC and we wanted to stay central but not in the middle of Times Square. The Bryant Park is perfectly situated close to everything but amazingly quiet. We were welcomed by a cheery doorman and greeted by three lovely ladies at registration. I've never been escorted to the elevator in a hotel, while describing the features available at this location. Our room became a surprise upgrade, and it was a comfortable, relaxing stay at an excellent hotel. The staff was superb.

The property is under construction but you’d never know it. The front desk staff (Shannon) was fabulous - very informative, positive and friendly. Our renovated room is beautiful! The bed is extremely comfortable and the decor is chic. Terrific location right on Bryant Park. This is our new “go to” hotel in NYC.

Bryant Park Hotel has a great location, walkable to theaters, great restaurants, shopping & transportation-Penn Station- without being in the hubbub of Times Square. The hotel itself has a cheerful, contemporary decor, clean, comfortable & quiet. The staff couldn’t be better, welcoming & helpful. Well worth the price for quality & convenience. Koi restaurant just next door is fantastic & Celeon bar downstairs, a cool yet cozy place for a nice glass of wine.

The location is perfect. Away from the chaos of Times Square but within walking distance of many of the attractions. The subway is super close with numerous lines that can take you anywhere in the city. The park across the street is so lovely. Staff was friendly and super helpful with questions and suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing being on the park space right outside. Easily walkable to cover all of midtown, we actually walked down to lower Manhattan and back exploring the city, it was a great base for this.

Lovely hotel in a great location, within walking distance to Times Square, and 5th Avenue, and the subway was just 100 ft away. The customer service representatives were courteous and friendly, the room was excellent, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the room as well as the bathroom were sparkling clean. They also offered a free coffee and muffins in the morning, which was appreciated.
