Great location, unfortunately only one lift was working the whole stay. This caused very long delays to use as often it was full. My husband also got stuck in the lift. Water for tea and coffee in foyer was often empty.

Ice machines didn’t work throughout the entire hotel. Old building but clean. Beds were comfy! Wait times for 2 elevators was frustrating at times. Great location.

The facility was nice, clean, the service was professional and welcoming. If you drive a personal vehicle, make sure that once you park it in the garage you bring the parking receipt back to the person at the front desk. Get them to put their discount sticker on the back of that parking receipt. It will save you some money.

One of the two elevators was out of service during our stay. We were on the 11th floor and management refused to move us to a lower floor, saying nothing could be done. We had to walk up and down 11 flights repeatedly. There was a long line for the only working elevator, but after waiting 15–20 minutes, it arrived full with hotel staff and laundry, leaving no room for guests. After climbing the stairs to our room, I called and asked for ice to cool a drink and was told to use the machine on the 10th floor. It was broken, and I was directed to the one on the 5th floor, again requiring stairs. The manager was unavailable in the evening, and we were told to wait until morning. When we finally spoke with him, he said the issue was with the building, not the hotel. He offered a bottle of water and a snack as compensation, claiming the elevator had just been fixed. Two minutes later, the elevator alarm sounded, and another guest got stuck. It was back out of service. Frustrated and feeling dismissed, we left the hotel.

There are two elevators in the building. Throughout our stay, one of the two elevators was consistently inoperable leading to long lines and wait times to get up and down the floors. On one occasion, we waited over 20 minutes for the elevator on the 20th floor, as well as tried to call the front desk to advise of the issue. Eventually, we, along with another guest who was checking out and had a suitcase in hand, traversed down 20 flights of narrow stairs and squeezed past the hotel cleaning staff with their carts and piles of linen, to get to the ground floor. Upon advising the front desk of the issue, the manager with an air of indifference to the sweat dripping down our brows, chastisingly asked if we thought to call the front desk because perhaps they were not aware (though this had been at least the third day of elevator issues). Zero apology or empathy...

Parking is a few blocks away- not convenient, but otherwise the location is great!

This midtown NYC location is very convenient. The only downside during my visit was that one elevator was inoperative during my entire visit. This made for long wait times.

Had an amazing stay and place worked out for the night for the NYC Marathon only downside is only one working elevator.

They have two elevators, only one worked for three days. With janitorial staff trying to go u0 and down over 20 floors, it would take at least 45 minutes each time to get to our room on the 10th floor, since ir holds only 5 people! The room was dirty, the entry door would not lock unless you slammed it. Bathroom door dd not have a lock on it. No closet whatsoever or any kind of drawers to store your things. Shower head sprayed sideways instead of down. Ice machine on our floor did not work. We were supposed to check in at 3pm, our room wasn’t ready until 5 and even though we requested a room with street view we were stuck in room 1003, which has a view of another building 5 feet away filled with trash. I would absolutely never recommend this hotel to anyone! Young kids running the desk, absolutely clueless about how to run a business or deal with customers. Supremely disappointed seeing how much we spent.

I like the location, room was clean. The breakfast is delivered in a paper bag. Muffing, orange juice, string cheese. (It could be better) One of the elevator wasn’t working, long waiting time.

The room had litter all around the floor of my room and there was hair in the shower when I arrived. Besides that, it’s a pretty standard hotel room on the smaller side. The internet isn’t the best. A pretty average hotel.

The room itself was clean. The lobby was clean. The staff were very helpful. However, the hallway is after you leave the elevator the floor is carpeted and very dirty. The walls were very dirty as well and really created a bed first impression when you walked out of the elevator.

Great Midtown location. Unfortunately, we had a ground floor room, so no view or light. Room was updated, very small. Clean, but saw a cockroach on the way to bathroom in middle of night. Locking safe did not work, probably battery. Price was high relative to level of luxury.

1st there is a closed sign on the doors from the city which I was told was due to permit issues... scary... then it is super tight and small - then the hallways look like they have not been vacuumed in years super dirty! the rooms are very small - bedding was clean but the AC didn't work so it was humid and gross and in that small space it felt worse. There were gnats in the room - flying around... then for breakfast TONS of flies swarming in that super small front lobby, Table was super dirty and no one bothered to clean it. I felt I was duped by the other reviews this is not that great and I would have put average at best for NY.

Room was already dirty in with hair stick on barthroom wall when we came in. Towels are rough and I came back to my room on next day i wanted to shower but no towels because my room was not serviced. Called to ask why and they told me thry would come next day ( when i check out). I told the nanager Jessica about it and she told that it would send more towels and get the room cleaned, which honestly made no difference. Other manager then emails me to offer $50 resident fee waived. My stay for 2 nights was almost $900 abd thats all they could do. Just book somrwhere else in the area I saw many other options charging the same with better cleaning conditions. All you dont want is come back from a long day in the city to a dirty place to rest, for me its a no go.

Very central hotel just off 5th Avenue. Some small gripes: the room lacked light (just one wall and one small table lamp) and the in-room safe battery was low so many tries needed to unlock the safe.

The location of the hotel is great! Right off of 5th ave. Which is near a lot of stores & a 5-7 min walk to Times Square! Lots of things to do around the area! Especially on the weekends. As for the hotel it was nice! Cleaning could use some work with the dusting but besides that it was good! I did have a problem with my A/C unit leaking in the room but I was moved to a new room and didn’t have any issues with that one. Overall I enjoyed my stay & the staff are very kind and helpful!

Smallest room I have ever been in. No closet. No shelves, no hooks to hang bags or coats. Shower curtain was hung too high and the floor got wet after a shower. Room #2104. Breakfast was a plastic-wrapped pastry and a can of orange juice. Worse "free" breakfast I ever had in a USD300/night hotel. USD150 "destination fee". What the heck is that?? I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

This hotel is very worn out, the light in the bathroom keeps turning its brightness off by itself all the time. The beds are made for short people. I myself am 183 cm tall and slept with my feet hanging out of the bed. The air conditioning is extremely noisy. The walls shake like an earthquake when you turn on the shower water. Otherwise, this hotel is okay and suits those who don’t have high demands for anything at all.

Location was great, rooms were clean but the size was extremely tiny!! I felt claustrophobic and view of a building wall didn’t help!

Let me start with the positive feedback, the hotel is clean, new, in the middle of everything and a lot of dining options around it. The negative feedback is that the room and washroom is very very very small even for 2 persons. There were more options with specious rooms within the same price range.

At check-out, they forgot to return the deposit for two rooms. Three weeks later, we still haven’t received anything. This policy of holding fees for such a long period is unacceptable, especially since we have received no updates.

The property is in a great location and easily accessible to attractions, stores, and restaurants. Front desk staff were less than friendly and were clearly bothered that we were there. We paid for a late checkout only to return to our room and was locked out meaning we had to go back downstairs, reactivate the key to return to the room to gather our belongings.

I enjoyed my stay at the Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue. It was closed to Times Square (8-10 mins) and lots of restaurants near by.

Good location and reasonable prices, however the hallways were very loud at night all we could hear by was doors slamming and barely got any sleep. Also right after we checked in the hotel gave another couple the same room and they walked right in on us getting ready to go out to dinner. Definitely an experience and could have been much worse if we weren’t there and people had access to our room without our knowledge. It was embarrassing for both parties and should be a way to prevent this “accident” from happening again.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BAGS IN STORAGE! It’s an absolute shame that the staff let down a hotel with such gorgeous rooms for New York! Our check in process was beyond awful. The room key created was broken and the lady on the desk handled this awfully. Swearing left right and centre with not a sorry in sight. The room was stunning, however the floors were greasy and the hallways need a lot of work! The cleaning staff stood outside our room daily, at around 7am talking extremely loudly for long periods of time even continued after we shouted to shut up. Then when you think it can’t get any worse the check out experience was hell. The worst I’ve experienced in any hotel. We left our luggage in their locked storage room, CCTV looked at by the managed shows this, we had a bag tied around the top of one of our suitcases which is not with us anymore. The manager has confirmed that only staff have access to this room throughout the day. The bag was securely tied to the top so could not just be lifted off would take some time to do so. The bag was a branded bag for a top high quality desert company so let’s just say I’m sure a staff member is having a very nice work break funded by us. Thanks for ruining our trip, my lasting memory of New York is me leaving the establishment in tears. Do not recommend.

This hotel only had a good location. It is just a 7 minute walk from Times Square. Everything else is bad. I had a few bad encounters with the guy at the reception. He was extremely rude, bossy and arrogant. I should have asked his name. We told him many times that we require a bed service in which the sheets are changed but it had been 2 days and there was no bed service. Moreover, their breakfast is terrible. There is no proper breakfast service they literally give you a small bag and they fill it with a juice box and muffin and hang it outside your door in the morning. We paid soo much for such a pathetic breakfast service. We were expecting to have a proper breakfast buffet in a decent sitting area but there was no such thing. Also they did not mention on their website and the website we booked on that there is a $ 200 deposit we have to give before checking. So in total the room was $700 with the $200 deposit. After they gave the deposit back they mentioned at the very last minute that there is a residence fee of $85. It is absolutely ridiculous. They just try to rip you off from your money. We asked the same rude guy regarding the deposit and he said that every hotel requires a deposit. And I said that we have been to many hotels in the UK and Ireland but there is no such thing as a deposit over there but he rudely refused with such an arrogant tone.

The staff at this property made our stay most enjoyable they went above a beyond to make our stay easy, even printed our boarding passes for us.

The location is superb. It was two avenue blocks from Time Square and right off 5th avenue by Rockefeller Center. I felt safe in the area. The hotel is minimalist but a good value for the cleanliness and location.

Excellent place to stay with the family. The atmosphere is very pleasant and peaceful. It's perfectly located for those who want to explore New York, just two blocks from Times Square and Grand Central.

Best location to get the full experience of time square and 5th avenue in New York and it’s within walking distance to Central Park. Room was clean and very comfortable. Exactly what I expected as far as size in NY. The staff was friendly and gave suggestions on things we would enjoy. I’ll be back for another stay and this will be my first choice for all future NY visits.

The location of the property was ideal, with 5th Avenue being within steps of the hotel and Time Square just two blocks away. Access to public transportation was also very good. The room we stayed in was small and it felt cramped with just my wife and me. The shower was also too small.

Hotel is in a great location, just off fifth avenue , it’s about ten minutes walk to Times Square, grand central station, and fifteen minutes to Central Park. Hotel itself was good, coffee is available in the reception area which is a nice touch. Room was a decent size for New York. We like a good shower and found this one poor pressure. Though loved the shampoo and conditioner provided. The tv volume was barely there even on full, though we went there to watch tv so didn’t bother raising this issue. Just bear in mind, hotel takes 200 dollar security deposit at check in so account for that with your finances.

The location is great - close to Times Square and Rockefeller Center. On the bus line and a short walk to subway and Grand Central Station. Room is reasonably clean, but floors needed mopping. Free breakfast is grab and go - they put a croissant, banana, and OJ in a bag on your door. It never changes day to day but it’s something.

The breakfast offered was just muffins, cheese and breads. No real breakfast food No fruit. The staff was great though. Place is located in a great spot. Bed a little hard but blankets helps with that

Location was fab and room was basic but expected however not sure how a continental breakfast can be sold as a packet lemon cake and a can of orange. Would be better to have a choice. However great food stalls down the road for $2 a croissant
