Stayed 4 nights at Hotel Giraffe. Dropping a child at school for the fall. It is exactly as reviewed and presented. An amazing convenient location. (Michelin star but lowkey Gramercy Tavern nearby is a must.) The rooms are spacious especially by NYC standards, especially the bathrooms were large and clean. The lobby amenities were great. Always refreshments available with push button espresso and good quality fresh fruit. The best part was the service. I never had to ask for housekeeping early or late and I was in my room at irregular times due to work and school move in schedules. It was seamless and quiet and professional. Finally, the outstanding bellmen. I distinctly recall the daytime bellman responding to an ordinary “how are you?” With an earnest and resounding “excellent!” while he rushed to grab the door for me. It put my morning on the best foot and I left feeling like the most important person in New York. I would stay again without hesitation and I expect to soon.

Beautiful “boutique “ hotel in great location. We love staying there whenever we come to visit nyc. Fair sized clean rooms. Excellent staff very friendly and helpful. Love the continental breakfast every morning.

I have stayed in this amazing hotel many times and have never encountered any issues that were unpleasant. The staff is wonderful- especially helpful this trip. The location is ideal- many restaurants nearby and easy subway access. My room was very quiet- facing 26th St rather than Park Avenue South. The hotel provides a nice breakfast assortment of pastries, bagels and yoghurts along with fruit and coffee. And there is a good Italian restaurant next store that is open for lunch and dinner, and two big drugstores close by. My only (small) complaint is the hotel does not provide body lotion, although there is shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
