The doorman met me at the door, stored my bags, and told me where to park. Check in was pleasant and helpful, and the room surprisingly large and quiet. The 'barkeep' at breakfast went out of his way to help anyone who asked for suggestions or directions. The bar in the back is the best kept secret in Manhattan, with the bartender verging on mad-scientist level knowledge of cocktails - kind, efficient, made delicious cocktails. Every person I interacted with was kind and helpful. Superior location, amenities, and staff.

Other than one elevator being out for most of our stay (there are only 2, so there was usually a line) we really enjoyed the Iroquois and would stay here again. The location is great if you want to be close to Times Square without actually being in it. Safe and quiet side street with a close Whole Foods and Bryant Park station nearby. The breakfast was small, yet delicious and the staff were a delight. Room was dark and cold and housekeeping was on point. Extra towels, hangers, mattress topper, and even a mini fridge were promptly delivered when asked. Nicely sized lobby bar and Lantern’s Keep was convenient for a quick pre-theater bite.

The Iroquois is a nice hotel in a good location (Close but not too close to Time Square, 5th Ave, Empire State Building) in Manhattan. The property has a wine tasting from 5-6pm at the property and you get a free drink at the bar.

Only complaint was some cleaning around the room. The carpet wasn’t as clean around bed. Baseboards had a lot of dust build up. For the most part everything was good though!

This is my second stay at the Iroquois Hotel for a family trip. I cannot say enough nice things about the stay. Room was delightful, beds SO comfortable, breakfast delicious and the staff truly amazing. Highly recommend!

Checkin and checkout was pleasant and smooth! Room was very nice and comfy. Fairly large room by NYC standards. And great view of the Chrysler Building. The speakeasy at was particularly nice. Ended each evening there. The only weird thing to comment on, they could have splurged a bit on toilet paper. If may have been the thinnest TP ever. But seriously, everything was great

Ben at the restaurant is fabulous!! Great personality and super knowledgeable about the city. Room was really small. No extra lock on the door and if you put something in the in room fridge, the sign says you will be charged $25. Not convenient. The bathroom was a little dingy. The included breakfast was great. Croissants, fruit, juices and coffee.

This hotel has a lot going for it. The hotel staff were top notch. The breakfast staff and doorman were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is close to Times Square but far enough away that this is a very quiet area. The only downside is the room was incredibly small, the bathroom was tiny and there was minimal space for clothes. It was uncomfortable to spend time there for 5 nights. If you’re a solo traveler this might be great for you.

Still one of the best hotels in NYC. A hidden gem. Great location! The front desk staff, Anthony, John, Najai, Faiza, and Kenny were all very friendly, and super helpful. Ben, in the breakfast area, was best person doing hospitality that I’ve ever met, in 35+ years of going to NYC. He made everyone feel welcome, taken care of, and special. The hotel is very immaculate. The two bars, front, and the speakeasy at the back, are also excellent. The bar staff, in both rooms, were knowledgable, and great hosts. Located between the theatre district, and shopping/Radio City, you can’t do much better than this place for a starting point for your days.

This was our second stay at the Iroquois Hotel and it was just as delightful as our first. The entire Iroquois Hotel staff causes one to feel as though they are home! From the welcoming from the front desk staff to the engaging service of the kitchen/bar staff, and the thoroughness of the cleaning staff it is obvious that the Iroquois Hotel has set high standards to ensure guests are treated as family.

Had to move rooms the first night due to a toilet not working. Second day of my stay the water was off all day and we were never alerted to this before we booked or at any point until basically the day of. When the water came back on they had to run room to room to service this and they were screaming at each other. Then after they fixed our room about 20 minutes later when I was going to shower someone from the maintenance team just walked in unannounced. I will say management handled everything appropriately and they were the epitome of professionalism, but you're only as good as your weakest link.

Unfortunately, the experience with the hotel was quite bad because of small details that could have been completely avoided by them. There were improper charges on the credit cards of several of my clients staying there with me and to make it worse, at check-out, one of the attendants was probably having a very bad day and should have stayed home. She was rude to me in a completely unnecessary way, and she was rude to my clients as well, which is unacceptable.

The staff was, by far, the best reason we enjoyed our first ever stay at the Iroquois. From the fun conversation at morning breakfast, to the attention of the front desk and the door person knowing that it might rain and offering an umbrella for the walk to our show. (Yes, it rained and we stayed dry). We even got a suggestion for really good pizza, John's Pizzaria of Time Square. It was definately better than any of the small shops on 8th. We even got a coupon from the hotel. Loved it and will be back. The room was surprisingly quiet. We were on the side with a peek-a-view of the Chrysler building. The bed was comfortable and the elevator was quiet and efficient. My opinion is that if you are in NYC for Broadway shows or Midtown work, this hotel will feel more personal than a larger chain, but less expensive than 5th Ave or Central Park. Don't hesitate to talk with the staff.

The hotel is located perfectly in Midtown. It wasn't too far from where our daughter lives. We loved the room, the hotel, and the speakeasy bar. We gave it a only a four because the breakfast could have been better and wished that the bar stayed open past 11.

Perfect location for exploring the tourist sites of NYC. We could easily walk to Times Square, Grand Central (Summit), Rockefeller Center and Subway access was close. The area of the hotel was so much quieter than other options I looked at and the staff were super helpful regarding directions. Breakfast was very good and a great way to start the day. Highly recommend.

Staff were very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous. Daily housekeeping. I was there for the NY marathon and there was take away breakfast starting at 3am, which I thought was so thoughtful. We will be back on our next visit to Nzy.

I am impressed! Reasonably priced, well situated in Midtown, safe, and with very good amenities. Would defintely stay here again, when I'm sleeping in NYC anywhere near the Iroquois Hotel. Though you should know the two bars in the hotel have wonky hours and the breakfasts are mundane, if those things matter to you.

Service great. Breakfast service was hectic and crowded but good choices. No coffee/ tea station in room and closet very small so can’t store luggage there. Bathroom big. Shower big. No view from window. And light in room was dim. Overall, great value and fantastic location!

This hotel is great and perfectly located in midtown. Very clean and the staff is second to none, responsive to anything we needed. We reported a slow drain in the shower and someone was at our room to fix it 5 minutes later! At breakfast Ben was so kind and gave us great ideas for things to do off the beaten path in Manhattan. They even recognized our wedding anniversary! The Lobby Bar and the speakeasy are charming and a wonderful place to relax after a busy day. I highly recommend this hotel.

Second time staying here over the past two weeks. And while this stay was nowhere as good as my first, it’s still a solid option. Def need improvement in areas along with a greater focus on consistency. Few things to know: Breakfast is great! The back side of the hotel is a little darker and much quieter — a joy for those who enjoy a peaceful night of sleep, especially in NYC. And “last call” at Lantern’s Keep (cocktail bar behind the Front Desk) is at 10:30pm. Found this out the hard way, which was unfortunate.

The rooms are small and dark. The lower level ones are very noisy. No coffee or tea facilities in room. The breakfast is pitiful. The Lanterns Keep bar is a highlight.
