The hotel was under construction. The lobby was gutted and there was a lot of noise and dust due to jackhammering and drilling. Our room was next to the stairway where new carpet was being installed. So there was banging and hammering on the other side of the wall. In the morning, we were woken by the smoke detectors going off because of all the construction debris. We had to evacuate using the stairs that had nail strips for the carpet installation. We had to wait for the fire department to clear the building. The hotel should not have allowed anyone to make reservations or stay during the construction. Nothing about the construction was indicated on the hotel’s website. We did not receive any notification that this was taking place. We definitely would have stayed somewhere else. In addition, although our room was renovated, there is no place to store anything. The showerhead did not work well as water sprayed out everywhere. And breakfast was a joke. Served in a hotel room with dust from the construction. We chose this hotel due to the reviews. However, the owner did not think of their guests safety during this time. Fortunately we were able to cancel our second night and stay somewhere else.

We had a wonderful stay. Hotel and room was very clean. Loved that there was onsite guest laundry. Couldn’t have worked more perfectly for my family as we were on a 2 week road trip from SC and we were about to have to find a laundry mat. Front desk sells detergent as well, so that is very convenient! Friendly staff!

They lost our pre-registration, they were under major construction, there was no elevator available (we were on the 3rd floor). No breakfast room (they use an actual hotel room to serve breakfast).

The property is in the mid of renovation. The room and bathroom are very clean. The major drawback is noise from adjacent rooms. We can hear the baby next room crying most of the night and the room door has so much space which hallway noise and light can pass through immediately.

Construction!!! Very disappointing as there was construction going on. There was no front desk, no lobby. You couldn’t enter from the front door. We were not aware of this. It was not mentioned by either Expedia or the hotel. It seems like a fairly new hotel and I was so looking forward to staying at a nice place. There was no breakfast area, but it was served in one of the hotel rooms, so there was no seating. This felt a very weird. There was drilling and men working even on Saturday when we tried to relax in our room. Our room was very nice and the staff were super friendly and understanding given the circumstances. I’m sure the hotel will be very beautiful but it’s too bad we didn’t get to enjoy the hotel lobby and breakfast. Had I known about the construction, I wouldn’t have booked.

The ceiling in the hallway was dripping into a bucket the whole time we were there. The floors in our room looked like they have NEVER been vacuumed. On the morning of our departure there were hundreds of ants on the jacuzzi tub. This was our second stay there but there will NOT be a third. We invited other people to join us in our stay which was embarrassing to say the least.

The room had obviously not been cleaned before I arrived. The toilet had not been flushed. There were obvious stains on the couch cushions that had been wiped up with tissue (there were little pieces of tissue left). I found nail clippings in the bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable & breakfast was adequate. The room was small and lacked storage space. There were no drawers, cupboards or a closet to hang clothes. Another bizarre & non-existent finding was that the entrance doors do not automatically open. One person is forced to hold both doors open so that the other person can enter with suitcases, etc. There was also a safety issue. A grey carpet in the entrance would get stuck under the front door and I saw a few people trip over it. It was both a nuisance and dangerous. When I mentioned this issue to the front desk clerk working at the time, she shrugged me off and seemed indifferent.

Excellent stay for price! Only complaint is loud exit doors slamming throughout night/ morning. Would be nice to install quieter closing doors or at least put sign up to give friendly reminder to avoid allowing door to slam shut.

It’s a “micro” tel, so the rooms are small but workable. Confortable bed, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. No dresser. No closet. The “breakfast” was pretty minimal and unimpressive. Still, it was worth saving $50 over the competitors, so no regrets

We were in the area hopping hotel to hotel seeing which would be the best in the area for next year and found this hotel to be the best overall. Very big room (suite), some privacy between beds by having the kitchenette between. The room was clean and honestly better than a more expensive hotel/resort I’d booked at. I had called in to ask if I could have something for breakfast put out early like a bagel or muffin to snack on because we had to leave early at 4am before the free breakfast. The staff was so accommodating and the whole buffet was set up for us! It was amazing and we got to sit and properly eat before heading out super early.

Sadly, this trip was met with a very unfriendly hotel proprietor (night shift)). We came in late after a 4 hour drive and it should just be a requirement of anyone in the service industry to just be nice, but that could just be too much to ask. The next thing: the room keys didn’t work. Proprietor said to give him 10 minute bc he had 3 other guest request at the front desk! Wow. So listen we’ve stayed here before and it was cool, not so much this time. Finally, the Bed, whoa!! It was like sleeping on a box spring. If you need a good nights sleep this is not the place…:(

Stayed here several times. Generally enjoy the rooms. However- Accidentally left a remote for my FireStcik in the room. I called the hotel, they said it was being sent to a shipping company who would contact me about how to send it to me. They never called. I called the hotel again. After a few tries getting through to someone who could help, they said the item was shipped. I never received it. I called again, finally got through to someone who said the shipping company had it and gave me their number. After a few tries, I got through to the shipping company. They said they never got anything from the hotel. It's bad enough they couldn't handle sending back a lost item, but the amount of hassle I went through getting jerked around by these people, while I was unable to use my FireStick because I was waiting for the remote, is truly infuriating.

The staff was fantastic. They allowed me to check in early so that I was able to attend virtual work meetings. I was on the second floor the tenant above me was stomping on the floor all night. They moved my room immediately. Only thing I saw was not a real breakfast

I enjoyed the room I had. There was a bit of a kitchenette - with a sink and a microwave and small refrigerator. It was positioned in the middle of the room, separating the sitting area from the sleeping area. I thought it was a good set up. The staff were accommodating - I asked to be close to the elevator because I'm on a long journey and I'm hauling a lot of stuff. They were able to place me in a convenient location, which was also very close to the laundry services. I would stay there again.

We were in Plattsburgh for a wedding scheduled for 2:00pm, an hour before published check-in time. We called the hotel when we booked and ask for early check-in so that we could change clothes when we arrived. They were most accommodating when we arrived at 1:00! Couldn't have asked for more.

We booked this as a last minute stay after our original hotel was a huge bust. Price was high for what it was but we were just happy to find somewhere clean and safe for the night. Our room was right by the entrance and dining area so quite loud at times. When we originally arrived to check in, there was a sign up saying the clerk was away and will return shortly but there was quite a wait, which we found strange. I've never seen an entrance desk left completely empty like that, let alone for a long time.

I can tell the property was renovated to look more modern, and I loved it. The hooks were great for my handbag, and over night bag. I really don't like putting them on the floors, so those were great additions. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and informative. My son is a student at SUNY Plattsburgh, so I plan on staying here for every visit.

Good enough for the price. It’s cheap so don’t expect much services or amenities. Location is a bit industrial but it’s convenient close to a lot commercial area and 5 minutes from downtown Plattsburgh.

Do NOT stay on the 1st floor. VERY noisy with outside and inside doors slamming all night. All rooms seemed to have connecting rooms as well which I didnt want, but was forced to take.The breakfast was kaxking as well. Not much choice and no one was there to refill the orange juice. Not worth $204!

Great stay! The hotel has been recently renovated. The beds were super comfy. Breakfast was adequate-bagels, bread, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, fruit and oatmeal. Highly recommend this hotel

This property was fine for a one night stay. The room is basic and seemingly clean. Lobby under major construction and I didn't know in advance. I would have expected lower cost for the conditions. Messy. Dusty. Paint smell. Breakfast in room right by construction. Basic offerings. Not stocked or checked until ending at 10. I cannot recommend at this time but probably post construction it's adequate for a one to two night stay. It is close to restaurants, shopping and University. Not too far from Lake Champlain

Nice and comfortable room. Very clean and comfortable beds. The lobby was undergoing a renovation so the breakfast was served on a small room. Had to take food back to your room, as there was no seating available. Overall a good choice for a quick overnight stay.
