My staff was great! The hotel had an amazing outside bar, which while I didn't use it this time plan on using it next time I visit. My room was great and the hotel was quiet, which sometimes is lacking in hotels, but not this one.

Hotel needs updates like USB ports and better lights had more than enough room but no dresser or bag stand. Need to have better information on booking site's as pool was down for maintenance. Restrooms need exhaust fan. Shower made restroom extremely humid without the fan

Overall a great hotel. Staff top notch. FITNESS ROOM OUT OF THIS WORLD GREAT! Breakfast FANTASTIC. LOVED the bathroom hand pump amenities! Room/bathroom needs upgraded. Bathroom too small. Unfinished drywall behind the AC unit. Cracked grout on tub. Bathtub barely drained.

The right Elevator was super sketchy breakfast was extremely bland. Staff was super kind and helpful. Property was clean and overall quiet for the busy area it was in and it was completely booked. Would definitely book again.

Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in a lot. Pool was perfect granddaughter loved it and she was allowed in the fitness room which I wanted to do usually you half to be 18.they had a nice work out room.little areas all over to sit. Will definitely be back.

The hotel itself was fine. There was only 2 washers and 2 dryers. The room and beds were comfortable. I felt it was ridiculous to charge for breakfast, so we didn't. Staff was meh. Head front desk guy made an under his breath comment about booking through a third party - just rude; and the other guy kept charging my card the $100 hold fee and I had to show him it had already gone through multiple times. Just a bit of drama that didnt need to be there. The hotel is pretty big, but ample parking. Restaurant on site.

One of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in and vert clean. Hallways and elevator were muggy. Elevators were a little difficult to get wheelchair in and out of. These were minor, over all a wonderful experience!

Staff was fine, and the hotel common areas were fine, but our room was extremely dirty. It is in desperate need of a deep clean. It was so dirty that I actually took photos to show that I am not exaggerating. lol Dust caked behind and beside the furniture, literal brown grime on the bedside lamps, (I took the little cleaning towel that was given to clean the lamp and the cloth was brown after wiping the lamp!) And there is an active ceiling leak OVER the headboard of the bed! If I hadn't been so dog tired I would have asked for another room. Never left a negative review in my life. Scout's honor. That room needs a deep clean. It was room 408.

Very outdated bathroom. No vent. Always wet inside. Couldn't dry hair from all the moisture inside. Chipped paint. The maid took our dirty towels, but never left new ones. Empty tissue box. Room was not well dusted before we arrived. The front desk in the evening would never say anything to greet or make eye contact to ackowledge you. Too costly for what the price was. Would never stay again.

Overall the stay was good. The room could use a little extra cleaning. There was empty water bottles behind the night stand from previous guests. The tile floor in the bathroom needed scrubbed, especially near the walls and tub.

The room was clean and was cleaned daily. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was the typical hotel stuff. I definitely would stay here again and again in the future. The only issue we had was that we stayed there during the most recent tornado and was very surprised that they didn't have a generator to keep some emergency lights on. We had to use the stairwell, obviously without power, from the 4th floor (which was fine)...thank goodness there were very large windows that let some light in.

Room was dirty and I woke up to a spider on my pillow looking me in the face. Curtains were ripped and dirty. Black mold in the corner above little kitchen area. There was a $160 hold on my card which I was assuming was a deposit and when I asked the front desk about it they told me it was probably taxes or “something”. I felt as if I was bothering them by asking. Kids running up and down the hall a 3:30 in the morning yelling.

Very clean room and property. One suggestion: the door to the room my Mom stayed — Rm.138 —is extremely “heavy” / difficult to open. It closed on her shoulder. Perhaps a push button door opener could be installed on some of the ground floor rooms to make them more accommodating for elderly guests? Breakfast each morning was lovely with attentiveness to detail. Thank you for a welcoming stay.

The whole place felt tired and worn-out. The drain in the tub was backed up and when I asked the staff to clear it, they didn't. There was also mold in the bathroom. The carpet in the room hadn't been vacuumed in a while and the halwways had a musty smell throughout the whole building. Breakfast was dismal. I tried it the first morning, took a look the second morning and had to pass at that point. Not much effort on their part. Holiday Inns have really declined over the years.

Traveling solo to visit friends and family. Check-in was smooth and took little time. The hotel room was in good condition. The bed was comfortable. Noise was a bit of an issue as the room next door was noisy and walls are thin. I was still able to sleep. The hotel Wi-Fi was shaky. I could not stream anything on my Roku.

Check-in was easy, the staff are very friendly, great breakfast and easy parking. Lots of places to eat and shop in the area. The beds are incredibly high and very difficult for children and older people to get in and out of. The hotel provided a step stool, which was very useful, but I did not feel safe having my child in a bed so high off the ground. The sink in the bathroom was also very high and difficult to use, especially with children.

I stayed one night, the first overnight in several years, and was dismayed to find that the beds are now very high. My guess is about 30”. At 5’3” it was incredibly hard to get into - only the tight covers allowed me to use them to haul myself up onto the bed. I mentioned this at checkout, and was told “it’s the new standard for IHG hotels, and I could have requested a step stool. Sheesh!

I was disappointed that the condition of the carpet was so poor. it had a rip in the carpet between the beds that was annoying and also the lamp shade look like it was taken out of a dumpster. How unfortunate as this is my favorite place to stay when I visit the kids here in OH. I love how quite and comfortable the room always in when I stay here.

Besides being clean and comfortable, the service at the hotel was excellent. We were there for a celebration of life, and everyone went out of their way to make sure everything was satisfactory for everyone in our party. The bar/restaurant people were especially accommodating to our large group.

We were locked out of room several times. The ended up having to call their on call maintenance man to fix the lock on our door. We sat in the lobby until 1:30am when they finally got the room open. They told us the lock went bad and had to be fixed/replaced. Hotel General Manager told us we couldn’t get a refund or a credit because we booked through Hotels.com. He said all he could do was give us a future 1 night stay at their hotel, which doesn’t do us any good since we don’t plan on being back in Ohio anytime soon. He told us he couldn’t even give us a Holiday Inn credit since they were privately owned.

Our stay was great. The locations had a lot of places to eat close by. It would be nice to have a free breakfast but we cant have everything. Not the cheapest but you get more than you pay for. If ever in the area would stay here again

We always stay here when in Ohio! The rooms are dated and it is an old building with smaller drain pipes because of that but the rooms are ALWAYS clean especially the bedding! I usually won’t use hotel bedding but I’ve never had an issue using it here. The staff are also very friendly and prompt to take care of anything should something arise. We came back to our room at 10pm and for some reason the was a horrid odor(first time ever and we stay a lot!) and in under 5 mins they brought keys up to us for the closest room to switch! I honestly cannot recommend them enough! Oh! And don’t forget the breakfast! Always have eggs, potatoes, pancakes or French toast, sausage and/or bacon and then all your basic free breakfast foods and drinks!

I did not think the breakfast was good. The eggs tasted like fake eggs, the potatoes needed to be cooked more, and why isn’t there a do it yourself waffle iron? I was pleased there was apple juice. My room Seemed clean. Could the area in the bathroom above the backsplash and the bottom of the mirror get cleaned? There is toothpaste residue all over that area.
