Had a very good stay! Check in was very easy and the front desk clerk was super nice! He was there all 3 nights of our stay and welcomed us in every time. Had dog biscuits for our dog and cold water for us to take to our room. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. They have remodeled from the last time we stayed here. Love the expanded fitness facility! Would definitely stay here again.

This Inn is under renovation and so this review needs to be understood in that context. We received an email in advance advising us of the situation and that the pool was no longer an amenity. The staff was excellent. We had a pleasant stay.

Enjoyed our stay - check-in was effortless, room was clean and modern, and breakfast was impressive with hot and cold options (waffle maker, eggs, oatmeal, sausage gravy, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc). Workout room had just been renovated and modern and great with a wide variety of workout and exercise equipment.

The rooms could use a little TLC as far as touching up paint and minor repairs. The vent in the air conditioning unit was covered with mold and was giving me allergies & asthma. However, the staff was very nice and friendly. Because of the people I will probably come back. I hope the vents get cleaned before then!

Nice area. Good, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Lobby under construction. It took many attempts to get key cards to work in door. Cushioned bench was stained. Bathroom walls had large yellowing stains around sink and toilet.

The bathroom was not clean there were dirty towels hanging up on the top of the shower rack as well as on the edge of the tub there were exposed wires in the wall where I believe the fire detector should be there were also holes fraying carpet that your foot could be entangled in the toilet was slow running meaning that when you flushed it it flushed really slow we ask someone to come look at it which they did which then made it worse we asked for someone to look at it again he just said it was a slow emptying toilet and then it started overflowing and nothing was done about it

the staff were friendly and professional...no issues there. Our hallway stunk with the smell of smoke even though we had a non smoking room and other rooms around us were non smoking. The smell never went away. The outside side door to hotel did not lock ( we notified staff) so we did not feel safe . It was still not fixed before we left. The bathroom was dusty but basically clean.

The front desk was rude and not accommodating. The room was dirty. The pool pump was broken for the last four months. At check-in, four other customers ahead of us were told their rooms were not clean and they were switching them to a different room. We were not told this, but given a dirty room. I woke up the next day with bug bites on my legs. After telling the front desk, they refused a refund, discount, or changing our room.

Walls are paper thin. Neighbor's phone alarm woke us up daily. Pool was closed but not stated on the website. No fridge in room (pretty standard in rooms today) Good Bfast and people at front desk were awesome!

The staff at check were courteous and the bed was comfortable those are the good points. I'll start with the side door that is unlocked 24/7 so anyone could just get in and in my opinion a safety hazard. The bathroom had dirt buildup in the corners,the electric socket was pushed in and the shower was weak. Somehow I didn't realize when booking that the room didn't have a refrigerator to put my medicine in. On my next trip to Cleveland I will not be staying here.

Newly renovated and still needs work. Rooms are stuffy and musty and the AC units dont work. Check your door to make sure it latches shut. The walls are so thin, ask for a top floor room to avoid listening to footsteps over your head.

Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Shades of our first-floor room were drawn down and could not be raised so that the room was always dark. That was, until the second day when one shade spontaneously crashed to the floor leaving us with no blinds at all. There was evidence of previous tape repair. Shower on second morning was lukewarm. Humming at night from being close to utility core was a minor annoyance.

Reserved 2 rooms for 7 people. They only had one room. Had to wait 2 hours until they cleaned one that was under renovation. Very poor customer service

I give 2 stars only because the overnight front desk guy went above and beyond to attempt to remedy this awful experience. We checked in to the hotel around 9-10pm only to find minimal toilet paper in the room and a fridge full of the previous room tenants left over food. Because the hotel was booked they were unable to move us to a clean room but the overnight front desk tracked down a bag to empty the trash and cleaning supplies to clean the fridge. The following morning when we checked out another lady was there and when we passed along our issues she couldn’t care less. She seemed bothered that I had even discussed our issues with her. They also couldn’t be bothered to provide a toaster for our provided breakfast b/c it was “out for maintenance”. Seriously, Sam’s Club is across the street! Go buy a stupid toaster. With the cost of the room Hampton Inn can afford a working toaster!! But I guess they can’t even manage to keep their cleaning staff. Another group staying there had the same issues with the lady in the morning - she clearly hates her job! And made us all deal with her miserable attitude as a result!!!

I reserved two rooms at the Hampton in Mentor, OH, when we arrived the manager said that Expedia cancelled one of our rooms. The manager said that Expedia sent her a email cancelling one room. I asked to see the email because I never received an email from Expedia but she went in back room & never came back up the staff said she was on the phone but I'm pretty sure she was hiding. It was a terrible experience, we had to search for another hotel & had to go into Cleveland to find one. I will never go to another Hampton.

They messed up my booking. Gave my room to another guest and I ended up with a room half the size of what I booked. The front desk staff are inexperienced. I was checked out by them before the end of my booking. When I found out and called to try to fix it, I was put on hold forever. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

We had requested a room with a bathtub but when we arrived at the room it was a shower only, the staff worked to get us a room with a tub. Clean facilities and great staff, The coffee could be better.

This is a better place to stay in a highly convenient location. I’d give it 5 stars but the curtains had this 1 inch gap that wouldn’t close entirely. I’ll pack banana clips next time… If you can stay here by all means do it!

This hotel is in the process of renovating so things were not normal, which was to be expected, but the lobby and breakfast area had been renovated, and looked awesome. The breakfast was very nice and had many choices for guests. The attendant taking care of the breakfast area kept everything neat and clean. We will definitely go back.
