Everything was GREAT, the front desk guy was super. There's NO elevator, but he got us a first floor room. I have a bad knee. The hotel is close to the Put In Bay Jet Express. The bed was firm which I need for my back.

The lobby and grounds were clean. The breakfast was really just a snack. The room condition was fair with a dirty floor. Feet were black just walking on it with bare feet. I guess double beds must be the standard in the area, they were small. Manager was pleasant and curtious.

I was a little bit weirded out at first. Booked online about 30 minutes before I showed up. There was nobody in the parking lot! Actually I went to the wrong hotel first and they told me this hotel is seasonal and she didn't even know if they were open yet. So I go inside and talk to the guy for a few minutes. He assured me that they had just opened 2 days prior. Feeling better i asked him about the best place to park as i had my fishing boat. His answer "anywhere we have 360° coverage. Nobody else in town has cameras, isn't that weird?" Yes that is. With the amount of people traveling to Port Clinton, specifically, fisherman. Parking our boats out there. Thats huge to me. As far as the room it was nice with a small bathroom. Didn't matter i was the only one staying. Only thing I could even think of if i was really picky is the paint in the closet just inside the door hasn't been finished. I would stay again.

The staff was amazing, he was able to point us in the right direction of good food, attraction, and a few laughs. Only have 4 stars due to the bathroom had left over hair on the sink and the tub/shower had dirt left behind.

Sunny checked us in in about 5 minutes. He was very pleasant and when asked for anything need, it was readily supplied. The only down side for me was the bed was a little soft for my taste. Thanks for the good stay

Property is in need of a full remodel. There has been some cheap remodeling done but it is not quality work and much more still needs to be done. I would also highly recommend switching from double beds to queens. We did have one issue that arose that the staff was very quick to correct. Staff was very nice. I doubt we will stay here again when visiting the area unless a full remodel is done. Hotel is very dingy and old without it.

Hotel was clean, close to the lake and the Jet Express. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly but seemed to be the only one working there all weekend. Breakfast was less to be desired. It consisted of toast, fruit jello cups, packaged doughnuts from Walmart, water & juice. Price was cheaper than other hotels in area - so you get what you pay for 👍

For a bunch of guys needing a place for a fishing trip it was perfect. Across from the Jolly Rodger and the Big Boy so breakfast and lunch were right there. Easy check in and they let us early check in. No breakfast or coffee in lobby and it was ok otherwise. We have stayed before for our annual walleye fishing charter and will likely stay again. Would choose another place if bringing my wife.

I booked this room months in advance. Then my daughter tryied to book a room within a month of our arrival. She was told they were book. Bull hockey! Lots of rooms available. I was told do to the busy season I may not get a ground floor as I requested. Another big wapper... what is wrong with you people. Poor communications between your operators and the hotel. The room window was broken (Oh it's on the ground floor. No worries there was a stick in the window for security. 0730 for a meger grab and go. Not sure what they served because we had left earlier in the day. There was basic direct tv, no movies, lots of adds.
