La Quinta by Wyndham Oklahoma City Airport

The left elevator consistently malfunctioned - and stopped between floors occasionally. kinda scarry. And on the 4th floor you could not call an elevator using the down button. Had to push the up button then either ride up before going down, or if no one else called it you could go straight down.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the OKC Fairgrounds. Turns out this area is listed as an airport property and a number of homeless encampments were nearby. The property itself was pretty clean and our room was comfortable. The amenities were minimal and half of the shampoo and lotion bottles were half used. The breakfast was fine but the staff had a hard time keeping up. Our kids used the pool and we found debris and cigarette butts in it even though a staff member was out to check on it and left after doing nothing. Not a terrible place but they have things that need attention. Will look for a different place next year.

This property was interesting. It was clean. But one of the 2 elevators was out of service and a door to the parking lot wouldnt work with room keys.Halls were noisy and I could hear a lite banging under my bed but I could ignore it. I dont think this is a property I would book a week or even a weekend at..but for a quick over night I found it ok. Price was right..tons of food options near by.. A few homeless early in the am asking for money.. parking wasn't ideal especially with the one door not working.

Gym very good

Pool was super crowded, normally doesn't bother me except pool is on the smaller size. Breakfast tasted good, not many options. Overall good experience.

I liked that it was around other similar hotels and easy access towards downtown however the parking was not enough for all three surrounding hotels

I booked this hotel because I had a very early flight out of OKC. This hotel website said airport transfer. When I checked in, I was told no shuttles until 7 am, so I had to arrange a Lyft. I wouldn’t have stayed there if I had known that they would not have a shuttle at that time.

There was a dog next to my room. I was not able to reach front desk until 2 am and they did absolutely nothing the dog keep barking. We didn’t sleep all night Left right at 8 am Also the pool was super dirty

The cleanliness of the entire property was absolutely disgusting immediately upon walk in. The walls in the halls and room were visibly black on commonly used areas and also random areas in the room itself. There were sticky runs down the walls and desk in the room. The sofa couch had multiple large stains on the cushions and the carpet infront of the sofa was filthy.. Stains on top of stains, on top of stains. We were so disgusted by the room we went to a target to get something to clean the room. The pool was not in use which was a bummer but not a reason for the poor rating. Minimal towels in room compared to other hotels we've stayed. When asked for more they said they didn't have any that were clean. Staff originally checked us in under someone else's name. 2 times our card keys didn't work and we had to go back to the lobby to have them reset. Will never again book with this hotel chain.

We only stopped for one night because it was on the way to our next destination. Our first impression was that the pillows were untidy, as if someone had just slept on them, the bed was dirty, and the sheets were stinky. There was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner in the bathroom. At first glance, I could tell it wasn't presentable. It seemed like they gave me a room that had already been used. I wouldn't stay here again.

Heating and ac didn’t work properly, so we had to turn it off completely. The room was dirty and there were many areas that were very run down.

The room furniture was dated. The couch was sat through, dirty and there were pet's hair everywhere. The exchanged cusions weren't much better. We stayed one week and even when I tipped the house keeping, they never vaccumed the carpet and sometimes forgot to take the trash. In the first night, the smoke alarm detector in the room next door started at 5am as the guest smoked. It took the hotel staff almost 45 minutes to shut the alarm off! Neighborhood around hotel is not the best.

Not in a safe area of town. Room dirty and bathroom still had dirty clothes from previous person’s who stayed shoved under sink in bathroom. People were smoking weed in the building and spilling beer in the elevator

Room had pet odor, the carpet in front of the couch was badly stained, the couch didnt look like it had been cleaned and the picture above the couch was missing but the hanging brackets were still there. However, the bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The cleanliness of my room was not good, I ask the maid to come back a little later, no one come back to clean the room. I informed the front desk about the room not getting clean, she said she did not know what to say she will let housekeeping know. I will not be staying at a La Quinta hotel in the future.

The hotel and room were very nice and clean but the wifi didn't work at ALL, we tried using our phones and firestick and it would never connect or bring up the wifi sign in page. We were on the 5th floor but if you went down to the 1st floor it worked fine. They rebooted it but it never worked and it really sucked not having the wifi to use for our firestick to stream stuff. Funny thing is the Tru hotel is across the street and we could connect to it and get to the sign in page but not the hotel we were staying in :/ They need to fix the internet issues before I will stay again. Our keys to our room also randomly stopped working and they had to recode them.

Quiet place to stay, wifi service sucks though had a hard time getting any work done during my stay

I normally get an airbnb but this was last min and i didn't want to pay over a lot for one night. The room was spacious and coveres our needs for a quick last minute trip. All 5 of us had space and at half the price i would have paid. I would stay again!

It was convenient for food choices. Not too far downtown area. The hotel was a bit noisy through the night so sleep wasn’t great. Wouldn’t go back willingly

We had no internet the whole stay

Everything was great. Only complaint was the WiFi was terrible and the parking situation is horrible. It was a busy weekend and we were unable to even park in the hotels parking lot. It shares a parking lot with two other hotels so it was packed and hard to find parking at night.

When you flushed the toilet or even the room next to you flushed the toilet, there would be a loud knocking noise in the walls that felt like it lasted a long time! The a/c unit all had a weird clicking noise when it turned on and didn’t stop until it turned off! Walls seemed thin as we could hear everything in the room next to us.

If you just need a place to lay your head this hotel should be considered a back up option. As advertised there is WiFi and a fitness center… WiFi was never working and the router had to be restarted too often. The fitness center is a joke, I don’t expect new equipment but this was a piss poor option. The majority of the staff was not very friendly nor helpful, but you could always find them eating. I only stayed here to save some money… lesson learned spend the extra 75 and stay at a nicer place.

Staff seemed un-trained and in at least during check-in, almost unconcerned. Couldnt find our reservation. We asked for an extension because of a late flight out and the manager also couldnt find our reservation. After about 10 minutes he was rude and dismissive our request. It required another full night stay. We've had much more accommodating places before. His comment was "so you're just a walk-in?" Gee, thanks.

Everything was great! Attention to detail was so good! The manager (Kara I think her name was) was VERY helpful throughout the entire trip! Check in was easy and the location was good! Lots of shops and conveniences around the hotel. It was easy to jump on and off the highway to get to anywhere we wanted to be.

Th staff are not helpful, we asked additional towels, they said come to collect yourself.

Was only person in lobby to checkin about 630-7pm. No staff was around. After 10 minutes of waiting, I called the hotel. No answer. Had to call again before someone came out to assist. Two hours later went down 3 people waiting to check in with no employee in sight.

We tried to check in but the hotel gave away our room. I walked in at 10:00pm and tried to check in but they gave away my room and were booked up. They offered nothing in compensation. The woman working the desk tried to call around but I ended up finding another room on my own. Do yourself a favor and just stay elsewhere.

My stay was great until we needed more towels. I had 2 rooms and six guests abut only 4 sets of towels. The cleaning crew was either not able or towels were just not a priority. This was the only glitch to our stay and we ended our stay sooner than planned because of it.

I had booked and paid for a night here at La Quinta for November 23rd. The website said to notify them and they’d provide shuttle service from the airport to the hotel so I tried reaching out to them, but I never got a reply. I arrived in Oklahoma around midnight, and was exhausted. I was just looking forward to sleeping. I get an Uber and head over to the hotel. I arrive around 1am. Upon arrival, the front desk person (he said his name was Kmari) says they don’t have any rooms. I quickly say I booked and paid for a room ahead of time. He smirks and says, “no, we don’t have any rooms left”. I ask again for clarification, and he says he doesn’t have a room for me. He did not offer any solutions, so I ask “what solutions do you have for this problem?” He did not offer ANY solutions at all, and basically wanted me to leave the hotel. I ask to speak to a manager and he says no one is available. I ask for the GM’s number and he refuses to give it to me. He called someone (I’m not sure who), and they tell him to contact surrounding hotels to see if they have any vacancy. He calls a few hotels and no one has rooms. So he says that that’s all he can do and kicks me out to the street (which is full of sketchy people). He eventually gave me a card and said the person that will contact me is Jay Patel. And of course, I HAVE NOT received a refund and I HAVE NOT received a phone call. I have traveled to various states and countries, and this was BY FAR the WORST customer service.

Second time staying at this hotel but it was very packed this time. Unfortunate that large groups were outside front lobby smoking week and playing loud music while kids were walking through with their families. Room was decent and someone quiet, however, the floors were dirty as was the shower. Surrounded by other hotels as well as quite a large homeless population which made for some interesting interactions. Not too bad for finding somewhere reasonable that allows dogs. Will probably be finding somewhere else next time we pass through OKC.

We loved the location, easy to get to all tourist locations that we wanted to go to, breakfast was good and plenty of good eating places nearby.

Nice room and amenities. Comfortable room and relatively quiet. I would have given 5 stars but the location of this property is sketchy.

Thw hotel itself was pristine. Good service and people. Only problem i hadwasmy bathroom sink would not get hot water. Outside the hotel, LOTS AND LOTS OR HOMELESS VAGRANTS AND PANHANDLERS.

Good hotel-Not great hotel. Comfortable bed. Clean linens/ bathroom. But it was Wednesday. Decent breakfast with scrambled eggs, waffle maker, sausage, oatmeal. Breakfast ends at nine on weekdays. Out of a lot of choices at 8:30. Did not refill. Also out of icewater and coffee. No coffee in the common area. Manager did come out and talk to kitchen staff and water was refilled. Do not go here for the breakfast. Walls of room were filthy. Convenient to freeway. Three hotel entrances share the same parking lot. Parking at front door is tight even on weekdays so you may have to park in the back where it’s not well lighted. It worked and was adequate. Worked for one night stay.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and friendly staff. Pool was clean and had plenty of towels. The only thing I would have preferred is maybe vending machines on the floors, instead of having to purchase stuff at little market by front desk. Also the bed was a little more comfortable then most hotels, but the pillows were small and flimsy. But I'd still be happy to stay here again. On Cue right next door was very convenient. One of the better hotels in OKC I've stayed in.

This hotel was a convenient location for attending the Oklahoma State Park - just a 6min easy drive & location was our primary reason for choosing this hotel. Breakfast was ok - same thing every day. Options included: scrambled eggs, meat (alternated sausage or bacon), do it yourself waffles (there are 2 stations and takes 3min to cook so not ideal when breakfast area is busy), toast & bagels, prepackaged muffins, packages of instant oatmeal (though I couldn't find any hot water), yogurt, packaged fruit cups, milk, coffee. The coffee cups are tiny but if you bring a cup from your room it's somewhat bigger. Breakfast seating area is nice but at times there were no tables, or tables were dirty. We got around this by taking our breakfast back to our room when there was no seating, and tried to clean the table ourselves with water and napkins on days when a table was available but dirty. Bring your own hand sanitizer as there was none available and antibacterial wipes for the tables. Alternatively, McDonald's and IHop are nearby. Parking was free and we always found a spot but one evening we were approached by an unhoused person asking for money. There are a lot of people in distress in the area surrounding the hotel. The room was loud - bring earplugs. Heads up that they allow dogs in this hotel. Front end staff were friendly. Late check out was not permitted. Overall 3/5, not horrible but not great

Excellent, except for the fact that breakfast begins at 7 a.m. on weekends (for whatever reason), as opposed to 6 a.m. on weekdays. We had obligations where we had to depart the hotel at 6:30 a.m., so we weren’t able to have breakfast.

The hotel was perfectly nice for a one night stay while passing through Oklahoma City. It felt like an older property that been updated. The front desk staff was indifferent. No information about breakfast or wifi was provided at checkin. The breakfast was lacking and not at all well stocked. Many items were gone and never restocked. The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. It was fine for one night.
