Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City Hotel

Love the pool area but the pool temp is very cold. Always have to call for clean towels.

Room was uncomfortably warm-AC didn’t work; slow drain in sink; NO towels for pool area or hot tub; ‘hot’ tub was barely warm. Just SO disappointing for such a pretty place!

Outside parking behind the hotel, on the side and in the street and it was ok. Check in was Easy and Millie the young man who checked us in was wonderful. The lobby was nice and clean, with fresh water waiting for you. Our room was small, along with the bathroom. It was our fault but we thought we had to Queen beds but they were two full sized beds, but we made it work. The bathroom vanity is very small and you can not have much set out on it. They Shower head had green build up on it. The decor is retro and classy in the room. Bedding and pillows were fine. We had a balcony, the sliding door framing was rotting and paint peeling around it, but that is just aesthetics. We went out our room to look for ice and their was a door that said ice right across from our room but the room/rooms were empty and creepy. We went down to the pool for a swim and found a gate to go to our cars and it doesn't lock, so anyone can get in along with the outside doors are just open and you do not need your key to get in. The pool setting is very nice but the pool water was a little mercky. You have to call for new towels or coffee pods, which I did and it never came, we had to go downstairs to get them. Overall, the neighborhood was very nice and close to food and shopping. I would say its pricey for what you get. 3 star, not a 4 star.

Excellent place to get away and stay at. The restaurant at the hotel had an amazing cook. Our food was perfect. Definitely recommend the burger. Breakfast was also extremely good. We used the gym and whirlpool spa. Was nice and very relaxing after our workout to enjoy the jets in the whirlpool. We will be coming back.

The pool was not as clean and kept up as it has been in years past This is the seventh year we have stayed there for the college World Series of softball

There was a power outage during the stay and we were not made aware by staff until we had to call to ask why we didn’t have power. Beautiful rooms and very clean. Parking is terrible especially during the weekends so I wish there was easy access with that but overall a great stay!

We decided to escape the brick town area and spend a night somewhere more quiet, we absolutely loved the quiet outdoor pool, very nice hidden gem for couples who want to relax and not be overrun by children playing (nothing wrong with children having fun, sometimes adults just wanna relax though) the bar/dining area was nice and we enjoyed chatting with other patrons, the drinks were fine and the food was “average” with a couple appetizers we ordered being great but both of our steaks were extremely small and very overdone especially considering the price, however for a quiet night away we would definitely consider coming back

Great hotel. Only complaint is parking lot isn’t lit and very dark.

Clean room, helpful staff and nice swimming pool. Parking is also free. You will need a car to visit attractions from this hotel which we had. Most attractions are a short ride away so it wasn’t really a problem.

The lobby and bar area at the property are both very nice and receptive. The rooms leave a lot to be desired for the current pricepoint. The deal breaker for my family was upon requesting another blanket for the room, going to sleep with the provided blanket only to wake up the next morning and realize it was completely overtaken with mold and mildew. My son has a very bad allergy to both of these and is now suffering from an allergic reaction. The property offered me Marriott points as a compensation, but that's not sufficient at this time. I've requested a refund for my stay but have not yet received a response.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Bar was very comfortable and well stocked. We didn’t have breakfast. The staff were all very personable.

Found a bedbug in our bed right when we were going to sleep. The man who came to change our room told us they have “experience” with these issues. It was confirmed a bedbug. Would definitely not stay here again.

The hotel was probably extremely nice several years ago; however, it is in dire need of some updating. The air ducts in the room were extremely dirty. There was paint chipping all over the trim of the hotel itself and within the room. The internet service in the hotel is terrible and the lamp plugs in my room did not work at all. To top this all off, it was over 100 degrees in OKC this week and the hotel A/C was out the first night and did not function at full force for the balance of my stay.

The staff at hotel are excellent, all friendly and courteous.Hotel is just dated, needs updating , showers are not clean. Rooms are spacious.

The room was dirty, stain on the floor, no desk, not enough outlets, and very dated rooms. Main areas are all very nice but very disappointing with the rooms. Pool area needed to be cleaned also but recent rain may have been the cause for that.

My stay was based on cleanliness. I was on the 5th floor, and once the elevator door opened, you could smell an order. Once I opened my door, the same odor remained. The carpet was not clean. Some of the outlets didn’t work. The shower had no water pressure, and the closet had a panel up. This is not my idea of a 4-star hotel.

This hotel has a beautiful lobby and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately that is where the positive experience ends. The bathroom was the first issue beginning with the hair in the shower. After this i noticed the pealing paint on the ceiling and the filthy shower vent. 2 of the outlets by the bed did not work and the room would not change temperature. Even when we used the thermostat. Roomservice was never available. Sunday morning we were given 2 free breakfast buffet passes ( there were 3 of us) and got to experience crunchy pancakes and awful eggs. Overall it was pretty bad. I brought my concerns up with the lady at the desk she was very nice and said she could have the manager call me. I do not exspect much to be done but don't waste your time unless you are a Marriott rewards member. They seem to be well taken care of on one of the upper floors with there own special area.

Bathroom shower not kept up with, stains on carpet, bed was moist (maybe from cleaning but still feels uneasy), did my usual check for bed bugs and did not find any thank goodness but did find loose hairs under the fitted sheets, and AC did not work well. Just didn’t feel very clean. Very pretty if you don’t look closely and i loved the aesthetic of the place. Very nice and welcoming staff. Maybe i just had a not so great room, everything else was great to be around.

We found bed bugs after being bit the night before. We had other problems from the time of check in. No carts available. We had to find one ourselves. Had to load ourselves-large load and heavy items. Our room was covered with dust. No bottled water very few towels. Terrible set up compared to much less exclusive hotel. But bed bugs were the worst.

Our room was very dark with one standing lamp by the chair and one joint bedside lamp with at least 40w brightness. No overhead light, etc. Very dark.

Always a great place to stay in the OKC area with a location that is convenient to all points. Being located adjacent to a gated residential area and professional businesses ensures a quiet stay. Room size was larger than what we expected.

This is my third stay in as many months and this property always exceeds my expectations of the location, how hospitable they are, the cleanliness, the size of the rooms, and how comfortable they are. They also have a great bar and restaurants along with the pool and valet parking.

Clean room although very outdated. Room did not look as pictured but beds were comfortable. Tub/shower not like in pictures. Ceiling tiles coming off in closet. Coffee bar area in room did not have sugar/cream just Equal and Sweet blow. Walls very thin, heard someone next door vomiting throughout the night. Overall expected more of the room for $195/night.

The hotel seems understaffed, and what staff are available are not attentive. We have received no communication on the A/C, even though we are experiencing extreme heat and reporting it several times. We also requested a fan, water (room was not cleaned and refreshed today), and all was promised, but have not been delivered. The room phone does not work / is not answered either. All has become a bit frustrating for a weekend getaway. Another point of irritation is that the TVs are not smart TVs and offer no streaming or casting options. The channel selection is very limited.

The A/C didn’t work great at all. The room was nothing like the pic. I had a balcony room and the balcony had no chairs, I looked around and they all had chairs. Needs a microwave in the rooms but the guy at the desk at 4:00 am was so great.

The gentleman working the front desk was super polite. It was quiet. The room was clean. Pool looked amazing, but it was raining. Would book here again!

Staff was very confused, not very well informed. Depending on who you talked to you would get an entirely different answer.

The staff and stay was great with one exception, the Bar Tender. The gray headed bar tender was very rude to us. We were simply looking for the dinner menus being everything laid out on the tables were breakfast options. He then loudly stated it's on the back side just turn it over. I then stopped my husband from confronting his (bartend enders) behavior and just went out elsewhere to eat dinner. Everything else was excellent.

Overall, a nice hotel that’s kept clean and has a very nice bunch of employees there to meet/exceed your expectations.

The staff is amazing, Briana in front desk was amazing she helped me with my reservations. Overall very professional staff, breakfast the staff is good..food is alright, not as much variety.

Hospitality was excellent.

Check in was great. All employees were friendly and helpful. Doorman and receptionist were kind. Brianna took care of my check in

Great staff!!! Bartender and Night Manager were very helpful and accommodating.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood.

Staff is on point. Easy parking. Well maintained. Property in secluded area, away from traffic and noise yet reasonably convenient to north OKC. Rates are occasionally less competitive from a value standpoint. Cemetery view is a little creepy. All in all, a very comfortable stay though.

Had to visit the Capitol and this was very nice and close to where we needed to be! Will definitely stay here again!

Nice property in a great neighborhood. I stay here 1-2 times a year. It’s tucked away but has easy access to everything.

Very clean and in a quite location.

It was great! The hotel was beautiful, the service was wonderful, and we will definitely stay there again if we’re in town again. The bed was comfortable, the view of downtown was great, and the location was really easy to find. There is an onsite bar that looked nice. And the lobby has free infused water available for guests.

It is in a great area that feels safe and secure not too close to city where you don’t have a ton of traffic around but easily accessible.

It was my first time at a Renassance hotel. I am now going to be looking for these everywhere I go. The first impression was strong, I arrived late & the front desk attendant was so kind. I'm fairy picky with beds, pillows & bedding, it was perfect. The mini fridge in the room was a great bonus. Used the gym & sauna in the morning before breakfast, which was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. The coffee was brought to me at the table. Overall very impressed with this stay & I will be back next time I need a hotel in OKC.

Breakfast was horrible toilet can touch with door shower head may have a mold grout in shower coming out front desk staff Mr Johnson hope name is correct very good and professional but Resturent not keeping well expect some credit on room and I did complain when we checked out

I wouldn’t pleased with how much it cost for breakfast. The information said it would be between seven and $15 and it turned out to be $20 per person. That’s a lot for biscuits and gravy.
