The elevator wasn't working upon check-in. There was not hot water on the morning of check out. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times before. So, I am familiar with it. In my opinion, the condition of the hotel has deteriorated to the point that I won't use it again unless improvements are made.

Extremely Disappointing Stay After driving over 5 hours, I arrived at the hotel around 12:40 AM expecting to check in, relax, and finally get some rest. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The elevator was broken, so I had to carry my bags up 5 flights of stairs. There was also no AC in the hallways or stairwell, which made it even more uncomfortable. When I finally got to my room, it was clear that it had not been cleaned after the previous guest. The bed was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and there were used/dirty towels left on the floor. I tried calling the front desk, but the phone in the room didn’t work. So, after a long drive and carrying all my luggage up five floors, I had to pack everything back up and walk all the way down to the first floor to get another room. Thankfully, I was eventually given a new room, but that’s not the point. I paid for a room that should have been clean and ready when I arrived. Instead, it took an extra hour at around 1 AM just to get into a room I could actually use. There was also no manager on-site for me to speak with about the situation. This was such an unfortunate experience, especially after traveling for over 5 hours. After a long drive, all you want to do is get to your room and lay your head down. I truly hope management addresses these issues because guests should not have to deal with this after paying for a hotel stay. Someone needs to make this right. The elevators were broken and the air conditioning was not working in the public areas of the hotel. We needed a late checkout but the front desk clerk was working the breakfast room and no one answered the phone. Housekeeping sounded like the police banging on our door. Despite these issues, the manager was very understanding and explained to us the issues the staff was dealing with to get their jobs done. I think corporate should truly award this manager with some recognition for going above and beyond the call of service. She was apologetic and polite and could truly use some perks. She cares about her guests and it shows. She could have been nasty and rude but she was not at all. I think the air conditioning and elevators need to be bumped to a high priority so this property and its staff are able to perform at their best for guests. Please know that I rarely write reviews but this time your team deserves their flowers for a job well done under less than desirable circumstances. Thanks in advance!! Feel Free to contact me if I can be of service.
