Enjoyed that the battlefield was right there and it was a convenient location. The ice machine was broken the whole stay so had to go to a sidfeeent floor to get ice.

I would like Elliptical machine in the gym fixed, I have requested in person a repair twice but still no fix. The machine turns on but NONE of the buttons work. I love the gym overall and the hotel is clean and very nice to stay at.

The pros - good location, 15 minute walk to downtown. Clean rooms. Breakfast was nice but such a bad layout that it was so crowded by waffle and pancake station. Chairs/tables packed in, barely room to move. I've been to other Best Westerns with better breakfast. Pool is ok, very basic. Wish there was a hot tub. There is space for one. We were traveling with kids and the pool was pretty lackluster. Not that many options for hotels with pools in Gettysburg though.

This hotel is in a good location for getting around and is walkable for a lot of venues. I used the gym and it is small but had a nice treadmill for me. The coffee/tea 24/7 is great. The pool was also a nice plus. The downsides are of course no one makes beds or takes out trash and we were there for 3 nights. Also the shampoo and conditioner and soaps supplied are tiny and hard to use. The wall dispensers in other hotels is so much nicer. No bar at night or fire pits going outside so it is a NO FRILLS HOTEL.

Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful, coffee in the lobby, pool was small but nice, convenient location. Housekeeping was minimal :( and breakfast was the same every morning but it was still a good selection and was open until 10am :)

We had a five-night stay at the Best Western Gettysburg and absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. The room was so comfortable. And the entire place was SO CLEAN. Sparkling actually. We found ourselves constantly remarking on what a great value this hotel is. Highly recommend and will stay there again when we are visiting the area.

Just a nice stay, everything was as it should be. One note, because of staffing shortages they do not have housekeeping make the bed and tidy the room each day. I didnt mind as I only stayed one night

Overall, a very nice hotel. Room size is large and roomy. Accessible coffee 24 hrs was great. Plenty of free parking. Mattress needs to be better and the sofa in the room was uncomfortable. Bathroom tub needs recaulking and the mold was off putting.

I reserved and prepaid for a room with a king bed. The hotel had good reviews. But When we checked in, our room door was literally in the foyer of the hotel. We could hear the foyer TV and receptionists laughing and talking. We ask to be moved to a different room, and the receptionists were not helpful. They Repeatedly said they couldn’t help us if they wanted since we booked through a third party. So they couldn’t move or adjust our room. We just wanted to be moved to a room with a door that didn’t open into the foyer. Very disappointing. We could hear every person walking through the foyer, the elevator, bags rolling, people talking. It was a long night for an expensive room.

This hotel is situated perfectly in the historic area of Gettysburg; convenient to Liberty Mountain. The staff was pleasant. My room, which was located directly across from the breakfast buffet was clean and in order upon arrival. The only downfall of that room was between 6 AM-10 AM I could hear the door slam everytime someone entered or exited the buffet. I would have rated 5 stars had it not been for that disturbance.

After staying one night at another very pretentious hotel in Gettysburg we moved to this one and were so much happier, it was cheaper and was right in the middle of all the action. Felt safe walking around at night, great restaurants close by, etc... Wish we had stayed here the first night. The lady at the check in counter was fantastic, so friendly and informative. We would definitely stay here again. And breakfast was excellent in a lovely room with a view.

I stay here pretty regularly when I visit GB College. It’s not too far from the school and impeccably clean and maintained. Customer service was meh. Came in from a very long drive, front desk person acted like I was a bother. When I mentioned I’d be cutting my stay by a day and checking out early because of the storm (an hour after the published check out time) they told me I’d be billed for the next day anyway (even though the room hadn’t been used since they cleaned that day.) The staff isn’t rude, they just don’t act like they care about customers at all.

Our stay was perfect. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Brian was helpful with suggestions for activities during our stay, thank you! Rooms were clean and well maintained. We loved the 1200( noon) check out! Location was perfect! Loved the path to the National Cemetery. Early morning walk very peaceful! Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

This was a wonderful hotel which we booked last minute. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The property is centrally located right next to the battlefield and National Cemetary and it's possible to walk to many wonderful restaurants!

The front desk girl was stuffing her face with food and licked her fingers before asking for my ID. No hello. No please. No thank you. It was loud due to all the motorcycles and needed her to repeat her spearhead on breakfast and pool hours, she almost screamed it unfriendly like. Shame because the room was wonderful! I wish she was as nice

Easy to find. The staff was friendly and they checked me in early. The Gettysburg Battlefield is across the road from the hotel. The Breakfast Room is on the THIRD FLOOR and so you have an excellent view of this historic site. I also love the waffles. The Breakfast Attendant was so friendly and energetic!

The Hotel was very nice and convienient. It was right across the street from the Battlefield and a short walk to many restaurants. The free breakfast had a view of the Battlefield with 2 waffle makers so less waiting and an automatic Pancake maker that i've never seen in any hotel i've ever been in.
