Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Hotel has both indoor and outdoor pool. Very few outdoor pools in the area. Couple of small items that were amiss in room, inch of water in a supposed clean glass. The hair conditioner bottle did not dispense the conditioner and the air conditioner grate was loose and vibrated loudly. I consider those things minor and would stay again

The lobby, lounge & work areas were very nice. The rooms were clean and mattresses comfortable. The shower was nice with great water pressure. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Also, the gym was clean and had excellent exercise equipment.

Great spacious Hotel with a great FREE parking lot. Did not experience the pool or gym. Famous Doubletree Cookies were amazing and the staff was GREAT! Lori and Rachel from front desk went above and beyond what I asked of them. Only downfall from weekend experience was the elevator went down when 2 big wedding groups were coming back from their events so the line was Long but minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Room was dirty. On check-in, bathroom had trash in garbage bin, trash on floor and dirty footprints in the shower. Top bedspread had a hole in it. Hand sanitizer was either nonexistent or dispensers were empty. I asked front desk 3 times to have dispenser at 5th floor elevator filled. Each time promise was made to fill it but over course of 3 day stay it was never filled. Entire stay was a disappointment.

I had high hopes for this property. It had high ratings for cleanliness. I checked in late in the day so didn’t notice things until morning. There were a previous guests dirty socks under the bathroom counter, blood in the comforter and a very dirty floor. I told the front desk when I was checking out and they said they were sorry but did not really seem to care. I will not stay there again.

We booked a king room but at check-in we learned there were none available, so we ended up with 2 queens. The lobby was spacious and modern, but our room showed signs of age (closet didn’t fully close) and had questionable stains in the bathroom by the trash can and on the curtains. The shower floor was grayish, and one of the towels had dark spots. We found hairs on the bathroom counter and plastic from clipped tags on the floor. We just felt it wasn’t as tidy as we’re used to at other Doubletree hotels, but we checked in so late that we went with it. We did enjoy the breakfast buffet and found the breakfast staff to be friendly and accommodating.

We have been staying here for over 10 years and even during the renovations of the hotel. This is the first time we have had anything negitive to say about our stay. The room was dusty and not clean. The air conditioning made some very loud strange noises everytime it reached the temperature it was set at. House keeping missed cleaning our room. The breakfast use to be very good but now the items on the buffet were luke warm and the scrambled eggs were a hard mess.

First forget the balcony rooms your basically on top of highway. The traffic noise wasnt what I was expecting for the price of this room. The bathroom was clean there were hairs in sink. There was a access panel on ceiling that didnt look to secure. It may look nice but not clean. The elevator glass had blood on it about half way up. It was there 2 days. Sadly it was in plain sight so if they couldnt clean blood off the elevator glass for at least two days says something about cleaning staff. The good bed was comfortable and room was basic hotel decor. The check in and out was easy. The front desk was very friendly. The location was convenient to town, restaurants and nightlife.

Stopped for the night as travelling and passing through, was hoping for a good nights sleep. Hotel is clean and updated, very nice lobby. Were placed in room 217 by the elevators. Elevator noise was extremely loud in our room and was in constant use at all times. Initially when asked could not be moved as hotel was fully booked and they did not have earplugs on site. Travelling manager helped us to find a pharmacy close by that was still open so we left to go buy earplugs. 30db earplugs did not help with elevator noise but, they called to check in and were able to move us to another room around 11pm. we were told it was not near the elevators but still ended up somewhat near elevators and facing lobby. There were about 40-50 people in the lobby at midnight as there was a wedding and also hockey tournament in town. Was noisy but significantly better than being right beside the elevator. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Unsure if we would stay again only because there is no way to know for sure whether you will get a room near the very loud elevators and we typically check in fairly late due to travel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nate, the front office manager, was so very helpful in recommending places to eat. He even gave a few personal recommendations, and we tried one of them; the restaurant was super, just like he said it would be. Check in was very easy; and check out was very easy too. Our room was very clean, bed was comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is that there be a mini refrigerator. We bought cold drinks and had no way to keep them cold. We will definitely be returning to the Pittsburgh area and plan to stay here when we do.

Nathan at the front desk was amazing, as was Hugh when handing a quick clean up in the room. Sylvia filled my Yeti mug with the best cup of iced coffee I’ve ever had at the complimentary breakfast. Wonderful hotel, the staff were tremendous - 5 Stars!!!

Definitely geared towards Gold and Diamond members. For everyone else, pay for coffee, breakfast, …. Comforts bed, quiet room. Wifi not iPad friendly,… really.

Everything was great until breakfast. The night before they told us what time breakfast is served and we went down to see what appeared to be a continental bfast… in fact it was very much similar to any cont bfast we get at any other hotel… and admittedly the food was good. However as we were finishing you can imagine my surprise when someone put a check for $45 for two continental bfasts in front of me. There is zero chance that was worth over $20 per person… and if I had kids with me and was expected to pay $100 for a cont bfast I would have been livid. As it is, it turned a nice stay into a meh stay….
