Honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed at, I wanted so badly to get a different hotel the first night but would have lost all my money, parking let was terrible, no vending which meant no drinks, no laundry, very dirty, only way to get liquid was getting ice out of the machine that only worked in a separate building and taste terrible, couldn’t get clean towels even though we did what was asked to get them, no Kleenex. I could go on and on. Lesson learned cheaper is never better. Don’t waste your money!

Tiles missing in the front walk-walking hazard. 2 cars in parking lot with flat tires-can tell that they were there for a long time. Hallway carpet are filthy dirty. Bedroom carpet filthy dirty-didn’t want to walk on it with out shoes. Bathroom floor was sticky. No bathroom towel bars to hang up any towels. Hook in bathroom was dangling. No complimentary breakfast even at 8 am. Found 2 bugs in hallway. Come back to hotel to end the evening but found 4 BUGS in the room took 1 of them to manager and went back to room to pack up and leave

There was no elevator for 3rd floor and we had bags and luggage. It was smelly and noisy very unclean to a Super 8 that we are familiar with. Would not stay there again.

Poorly kept - hallways trashy, outside door lock inoperable, upholstery one the one arm chair was sticky and nasty looking, no elevator, not handicap friendly. Take out breakfast only and was skimpy- bananas, instant oatmeal and a couple of packaged danishes. Only redeeming factor was the coffee.

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The walk way bricks were all coming up and very unsafe. I had to walk to the main door to be able to get to my room on the other side of the hotel because the other door was not working. No continental breakfast. The hallways stunk of marijuana.

What a dump. AC broken and was very hard to sleep in 80 fegree room. Shower knob came off and i got scalded. Vendingachines broken so had to go to c-store for bottled water. And condition of hotel was appalling.

Do. Not. Stay. Here. They’re renting the rooms out as apartments. It’s not pleasant. Smells. Under construction. Poorly maintained. Stained and dirty. And management couldn’t even be bothered to get out of his chair to help us.

There was blood on the side of our bathtub and on the bathroom door. Hair in the bathtub. The ground in our room felt sticky, and I did not want to ever take my shoes off. There was a hole in our blanket. The whole premises smelled of smoke. The breakfast was the saddest breakfast I had ever seen. It was oatmeal packets, unripe bananas and nature valley bars. Everything was super run down. I was nervous our car was going to be broken into because of how the nearby area looked. We were there for three days and either in the hallway or another room there was a smoke alarm that beeped continually of needing batteries to be replaced, which made me feel unsafe that the smoke alarms weren’t up to date. The laundry room was not functioning. There was only one liner for the shower. No drain stop for the bathroom sink. The complimentary toiletries were super low quality. One of the exterior doors did not work. The toilet clogged while we were there and we had to unclog it ourselves instead of a maintenance person coming out.

Very nice front desk attendant and owner called us for review. Hair all over sheets (did not appear to have been washed), none of the floors appeared to have been cleaned in quite some time, bathtub had someone elses hair in it and floor was very dirty. Older building, new appliances, needs top notch cleaning crew!

The motel smelled stale, was in need of major updating/remodeling. The mattress was stained, had hair on the sheets, that are supposed to be clean. It was like the last guest left the room in okay condition, so no one decided to clean it, if that were true. Pot smoke lingered in the halls, the AIR smelled of stale cigarettes, and it was a smoking free facility. People were lingering outside the doors all evening long. Carpet was sticky. Furniture was well worn, lots of scratches. Morning breakfast consisted of oatmeal packets, and cereal. There were juice machines, but I did not see any cups next to them. If I had booked more nights, I would have cancelled the rest of the stay. Staff was pleasant.

The room was "clean"... but the mattresses, window curtains, the bathroom walls, the room walls are stained. The rooms looks old and it smells, has a cigarette smell to it. Overall it wasnt great.

Absolutely disgusting, smells horrible, dirty rooms every room smells like Marijuana and cigarette smoke, blood on lamp shade, bathrooms filthy. Bed sheets stained and hair on them, it was the most disgusting motel ive ever stayed at. 0/10 would never stay there again and wpyld not recommend to anyone.

The place needs to be condemned and needs a major renovation. Gross place, hall way smells like urine, the Oder hits you right away when you enter the hallway. Room also stinks, carpet order wasn’t a pleasant smell.

The hotel appears to be in the process of a remodel. Our room was missing the bathroom fan, had trash under the beds, outlets that didn’t work and the dressers were sticky. It may have been noted, but I didn’t read that there was not a fridge, coffee maker, or microwave and the breakfast was grab and go.

The toilet lid was broke and wouldn’t stay on the toilet. The fan in the bathroom was loud. There was a square of carpet in the middle of the room that had been replaced with just another square of carpet. AC unit was very loud, everytime it kicked on it woke you up. But it was cool in the room. Everything was old and not maintained. Nothing had been updated in a very long time.

The price was very reasonable. The free breakfast was hot cereal, but no milk, granola bar, and a piece of fruit. The apple juice was very watered down. I did not try the orange juice. The hotel is old and in need of updating. The walls seem paper thin because you can hear everything so really no privacy. I could also hear people walking on our ceiling. I wish we would have stayed elsewhere.

The first room I got had a smell in it I’ve never experienced before. It was a little rank. I asked for a different room and the second didn’t have any smell. The place is fairly outdated but seemed clean which is more important to me and the price was a lot more reasonable than the other options.

Staff was great, location is great, worth a $56 a night stay. Disappointing smelly run down property. Very surprised at the cost of nightly price (i paid $138 for 2 Queens) the the property owners haven't kept it updated better.

Stayed 4 nights. Advertised free breakfast that was not available, not even coffee, desk person said vendor quit. Said we would get a discount but was charged full price. Very rundown and needs several repairs. Room was clean but the hallway carpet was dirty. There was no maid service. Had to leave linen and towels outside room for exchange and person just left them on hall carpet that had drywall dust all over. Had to go to desk to get soap and clean washcloths. Completely broken out window in Ice/laundry room. Looks to have several rooms occupied permanently. Would not use this place again.

The front desk staff is excellent, very kindly all of them. The hotel is not offering breakfast as mentioned in the website. The smell of the rooms are stinky as the furniture. The shower works well, fan ceiling in the bath, the door was broken. The windows are not closing well, you close, but cannot lock them. Every day, you will see the police, some arrests did. Three rooms, two nights for 6 adults Upon arrival, it was clear to see the building has not been maintained what so ever. There were broken windows, weeds and debris, paint was needed, everything was dirty. We didn't even need to see the rooms to know we would not feel comfortable staying there. At the desk, we inquired about cancelling the reservations. I believe the attendant was the owner. He immediately became defensive and rude. He offered no solutions or compromises. The hallway carpets were filthy and there was an unpleasant smell throughout. Paint and repairs were needed. Again, the entire area was unclean. The rooms smelled. Upkeep and updating were badly needed. The rooms do not offer refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, luggage stands, hangers, nor even cups. There were broken windows, weeds and debris, paint was needed, everything was dirty. We didn't even need to see the rooms to know we would not feel comfortable staying there. At the desk, we inquired about cancelling the reservations. I believe the attendant was the owner. He immediately became defensive and rude. He offered no solutions or compromises. The hallway carpets were filthy and there was an unpleasant smell throughout. Paint and repairs were needed. Again, the entire area was unclean. The rooms smelled. Upkeep and updating were badly needed. The rooms do not offer refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, luggage stands, hangers, nor even cups. We got in around 11:00 p.m., the front desk lady was helping someone else but she took the time to look up and let me know that she would be with me, when the phone rang she quickly, took care of that and took care of me. Was very apologetic for making me wait. When she asked what we were in town for and I told her for Mount Rushmore she came out from behind the desk got a map & was like this is where you need to go and while you're there you need to do the thread the needle. It's very awesome. This is the road you would take. She was very helpful. Very polite. The room was was neat and tidy. All the decor matched. It was very quiet. When we came into the hotel from visiting Mount Rushmore. Once again the front desk was asking us how we were doing. They greeted us. They were very cheerful. They were very pleasant. They asked how our stay was. Out of all the hotels that we stayed in during our trip. This was by far the best one. The only negative thing would be that they didn't have any ice but that was because there was an issue with the ice machine and it was being worked on as we were leaving

This hotel is really run down and the hallways reeked of smoke. This place needs more than a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting. The staff seemed friendly enough and the beds were comfortable enough for the 1 night we stayed.

First given wrong room, bed was covered with pubic hair, floor was not swept, every day our room key cards would not work, smoke detector beeped due to shower steam since the exhaust fan didn't work, then randomly beeped at night, homeless people near the property, bikers leaving and arriving at all hours, no laudry facilities available that they were still promoting, other than that, it was just ok.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The picture must be the ONLY room renovated, or they stole it because this property is a rundown mess. The hall carpets are nearly bare, and everything is so old that the smoke smell will never come out, even though it's nonsmoking now. When I arrived, there was a police officer at the desk, looking for someone staying there. Then I went to my room. The bed was hard and awful, the room had old carpet, no new paint, some kind of plastic curtains, and an old wall heater unit that sounded like a freight train. The toilet was running constantly until I fixed it. The other tenants were playing extremely loud music, screaming at each other and children, and there was a dog barking nonstop. I gave up and left after 90 minutes. Hotels.com shouldn't have this property online - everything is misrepresented.

Staff was great, location is great, worth a $56 a night stay. Disappointing smelly run down property. Very surprised at the cost of nightly price (i paid $138 for 2 Queens) the the property owners haven't kept it updated better.

Upon checking in, the hall reeked of marijuana. There was trash left in the room. There were dried blood stains on the bed sheets. I did not feel safe parking in the lot. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

The room was nice and the AC worked well. Grab and go breakfast was a joke. Luckily there is a McDonald's right across the street. Large group of people who live there always conjugating on the porch smoking. Also a lot of homeless people out on the street right around the corner from the motel.

Really trashy clientelle with people smoking and drinking at every entrance. Police cars consistently at the hotel and police in the lobby. Didn't have the room we reserved so we had to take a room with a smaller bed. Would not recomend.

I stayed 3 nights and I didn't get Wi-Fi for at least one hours. It's said breakfast included. But there were one type of granola bar, oatmeal, one kind of fruit , coffee and orange juice. Bed making noisy.

The price was very reasonable. The free breakfast was hot cereal, but no milk, granola bar, and a piece of fruit. The apple juice was very watered down. I did not try the orange juice. The hotel is old and in need of updating. The walls seem paper thin because you can hear everything so really no privacy. I could also hear people walking on our ceiling. I wish we would have stayed elsewhere.

The property was advertised as free breakfast. On Friday breakfast was granola bars and bananas, Saturday there was no breakfast, Sunday what is powdered donuts poured into a plastic container. I would not of booked us super eight if I had known there was not going to be a substantial breakfast.It was pathetic.
