Days Inn by Wyndham Goodlettsville/Nashville

We arrived late in the afternoon. Only had rooms in second floor. No elevators. Phone did not work. Bathroom was dirty. The bed had stains. The sheets were with cigarette holes. People were outside smoking, othera just standing in hallway. Kids screaming. The “blinds” did not close well. So by 6 there was too much sun light coming in. Will not stay here again.

The TV was broken, the remote was sticky and dirty and neither would not work- just a blank blue menu screen on the TV. The telephone had messages on it and a red light constantly flashing. When I called the front desk they had no idea how to clear the messages. I covered up the flashing red light because it was annoying. The gym shown in the travel website pictures doesn’t exist. When I asked about it I was told it’s “temporarily closed for repairs.” The sheets were clean and the blackout curtains worked. However, this is just a simple motel. Sorry but that’s the case. The place needs real Investment and real improvements - they put new Nashville skyline pictures on the wall in the bedroom but didn’t bother painting anything or fixing the bathroom. The “jacuzzi tub” has a sign taped to the wall that says it doesn’t work. There’s no drain plug. I ran the shower but when you run the water, black algae runs out from the dead jacuzzi jets and floats around until it flows down the drain. The entire shower/ tub should have been replaced years ago. Theres algae growing around the dead jets too. There’s no coffee maker, no working TV- nothing but some soap, two towels and a wash cloth. One towel was white the other was grayish white and neither matched. The hot water and cold water are opposite the direction given on the tap. The front desk staff was very friendly and polite. Maybe it was just my room…

Comp breakfast was not stocked or viable with any fruit cereal only few pieces of bread. No vending g machines as pics and pool had funk floating around. Needs upgrade. Appreciated the EV charger on site though and cheap overnight cost.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. However, there was no refrigerator in the room, even though the furniture had a space for one. Only 1 light in the room worked. The property advertised having a pool. The pool was an outdoor pool and wasn't filled yet for the season.

The stay was very comfortable! Quiet hotel, friendly staff. The breakfast was one of the only downsides, it really wasn’t much of a breakfast-toast, yogurt, or cereal. And also, we chose this hotel for the pool and it wasn’t clean so we weren’t able to use it. Pluses, out of the hotels in that area, this is the only one with a gorgeous view of the sunrise and sunset!!

Staff was nice. Room not so much. Went to close the blinds as soon as we walked in, there was a cockroach on the ac unit/window. Blinds would close, so I tried to fix it and cut myself in it (they made a wire hook with sharp tips to hang the cloth) Room smelled musky, shower curtain was gross too. Bedsheets had cigarette burns all over. They won’t let you use their “free” ev charger, so you must use the 3rd party in parking lot. Overall this hotel is cheap, but it’s also a dump. Don’t think it’s worth staying here.

It was an average motel type of hotel, ac unit sounded like it was gonna blow up and the mini fridge was gross, not a bad room setup but definitely room for improvement. The outdoor pool was green and probably won’t come back to this hotel.

All in all a good bargain for the price. The room seems to have been renovated/updated recently and was nice. The bath tub needs to be removed as it appears to have black mold around the jets. The breakfast was too heavy on carbohydrates - no fruit, meat or eggs. The front desk clerk did not have the pass word for the business office computer making it unavailable to me.

Breakfast simple ,but was good. Staff was extremely friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, I even stayed in a pet friendly room and it was clean and smell free. Parking was plentiful and felt safe , parking lot is well lit .

The pool was closed with a cover over it. The breakfast was cereal, some muffins etc, a toaster and a microwave. Near lots of places and easy access.

Would not recommend this hotel. Had 2 rooms for our family and one had a duct taped door lock and a dirty bathroom. The other had a dirty bathroom with a moldy shower curtain. They moved one of our rooms and they replaced the shower curtain, but overall the rooms were run down and not very clean. There was a weird smell in the rooms and the lobby. This hotel is listed as having a free breakfast, but it’s barely a continental breakfast. The terrible coffee came out of a machine and there were very little food options. When I talked to the manager about not being happy with our stay, I got a “ you get what you pay for” response. It’s very cheap and definitely not worth the cost savings. Would never stay here again as there are many other options in the area.

We didn't stay here. The room was filthy. There were bugs on the bed. Roaches scattering when we walked in the room. It was utterly disgusting.

There was black mold on the ceiling, the lamps, tub, and mirror were rusted, the shower curtain was dingy, and there were cigarette burn holes in the comforter.

The room was very smelly. It had a strong, mildewy, and moldy smell mixed with cigarette smoke. We could see visible damage in the bathroom to the ceiling tiles, indicating water damage. The carpet was very dirty. My feet looked black on the bottom after walking around don't he carpet. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The staff was not very friendly. They were a bit defensive to my concerns.

Was hard to understand the desk person. He was taking a personal call at the same time while trying to help us. Bathroom was disgusting it was dirty and outdated and we saw what looked like poop on the wall. Parking lot was good. Fridge wasn’t real cold. Overall wouldn’t be back. TV low quality.

Room was reasonably clean however the air freshener or cleaner they use smells very very strong. Not a bad smell but very overwhelming. We went out a purchased spray to make it bearable. I can still smell it in my clothes now we are home.

bed bugs, rude staff, invasion of privacy, they do not clean the rooms. I have never left a bad review in my life before and these dudes made me. Would give a 0 if i could. D9 not stay here.

First room had an A/C unit that had been kicked in and whitish work. Second room had A/C that whitish work till I walked back to counter and he realized he had to click a button to allow it to work. Tub had stains. Room is passable for a man who only needs a few hours sleep before moving on.

Stay was smooth however the bathroom could have been a bit more comfortable. Fixture missing from overhead exhaust fan as well as tub very lumpy felt as if you could fall through it. Otherwise room was alright.

Room was ok. TV had to be unplugged to turn off. Very dirty wash cloth was given for use. Mirror had corner taped on after being broken.

The bathroom door did not have the mechanism inside the door that keeps the door close. It was just a knob on the door. Would not stay closed. Some plugs on the nightstand didn’t work & some lamps were not even plugged up. Staff was friendly & the room was clean. Just needs some repairs.

Absolutely would not recommend When I opened the door to the room, it was actually hotter inside than outside. And it was pretty hot outside. I reported this to the front desk. I was told “it will cool off in ten minutes. Anyway, it was 2am when it finally cooled off. Needless to say, I got almost no sleep. I will never stay at another Days Inn

Decent lodging, the air didnt work the first night but other than that it was good.

Sheets and blankets had cigarette holes. Smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling. No stopper for bathtub. Outside area was dirty with trash and cigarette butts littered throughout. No remote in room. TV was hanging crooked on the wall. The very limited breakfast had stale cereal. It was not a good experience besides the front desk staff being nice, but the environment did not feel safe. I took one photo at the time and it was of one of the blankets that had a burn hole. I later found a similar hole in the other beds sheet.

The stay was overall comfortable enough, but there were a few things that I was not impressed with. The most pressing thing was that the floor of the shower felt mushy. We both felt that if we had stood in the wrong spot we’d have gone through the floor. The shower curtain rod was barely hanging on, and there was only a shower curtain, no liner, so of course the curtain got soaked and weighed down the rod even more. There was a brown streak in the shower, but that was the only mark against cleanliness. The AC worked really well, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. I think if we had simply been in a better kept room we would’ve had a greater experience.

Looks nothing like the pictures, its ugly and nasty. I wanted to leave right away! When I was checking in the lady was rude, she was on the phone the whole time. When I got the keys she basically threw it at me and said its upstairs. The room was dirty, my husband and I went to buy cleaning supplies and towels. We called to let them know about the faucet leaking and when "maintenance" showed up, he said we just needed to close it right. The faucet leaked all weekend.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Location was perfect. Far enough from Downtown Nashville for a lower rate but close enough to that getting to downtown or Opryland area was an easy drive. Plenty of restaurants available nearby and the Kroger close by was convenient. Will definitely stay at this property again when we come back to Nashville.

The staff was rude. You couldn't get any towels unless you turn in your used towels, even then you have to wait until they wash all the towels collected. Check out was at 11 they were knocking at my door at 10:58. One of them had enough nerves to ask my husband what was it he had drinking out his cup.

Couldn’t check out until manager inspected the room. Very rude. Grab and go breakfast that you couldn’t take out.

Very rude staff was harrasing us about our security deposit. Never again.

My experience with my check was surprising. I was racially profiled. Now I do not know how to handle situations like these, however, this was new to me. I am still in awe.

We had a great stay. Staff very friendly!

The lady of reception is so rude she will abuse you spanish dosnt answer any questions if you ask question she get mad

Always friendly and helpful staff

The property was clean for the price I had no complaints. Checking in early was only a $25 and we got there 11am check in was 3pm. My only complaint was trying to get the holding fee back the manager claimed they never charged me therefore they didn’t need to reverse the payment. Showed me a transaction for a discover card that wasn’t mine I had to pull out my credit card and discover app to show them the pending transaction and lack of reversal for them to finally refund me the incidental.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Location was perfect. Far enough from Downtown Nashville for a lower rate but close enough to that getting to downtown or Opryland area was an easy drive. Plenty of restaurants available nearby and the Kroger close by was convenient. Will definitely stay at this property again when we come back to Nashville.

Room was acceptable, area was safe, price was decent and it was close to the venue I was going to be at all weekend so it was good enough for me!

It was right off the highway.

I stayed here for 5 nights. Nice clean room. Clean linens and towels. Plenty of hot water to shower. I spent some time in my room working and was never distracted by staff or other guests. A great location. Near to interstates but not on top of them. The property is in a nice area with many food options near by.

Hotel needs some cosmetic fixes. The breakfast needs improvement with more things to choose from. Even though the rooms are older they could of been cleaner and bathroom cleaner.

Room was clean however smelled smoke notified desk so wouldn’t get charged. Lobby closes at night so get ice before closes. Pool nice. Walls thin could hear every kid, car, etc. Breakfast beyond basic. Staff nice.

An exceptionally clean re-conditioned hotel. Great location. Would have preferred something other than bread products and cereal for breakfast, but, hey it was included with the stay😊

Expected more given the description. Breakfast was almost non-existent. 2 kinds of cereal, tiny muffins/donuts, no fresh fruit, no juices. Yuck. Advertised as premium bedding? Hard as a rock mattress that kept sliding off the bed, little scrunched up pillows. Was not happy. I guess pool was nice.

Quiet location. Our room's A/C was not working and they put us in another room with no issues. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was less than stellar. It was a choice of a muffin, Little Debbie donuts, toast or cereal, no hot food...so that was a let down. Other than that the property was what we needed it to be, quiet, safe, comfortable, and cost effective.
