Great stay at the Wyndham while we were in town doing some recording! Safe are right next to a grocery store, Good coffee, the small fitness room was perfect for me and not crowded, also a good spot to walk in the mornings. Staff were friendly and. Responsive. 😊. Recommend this!

Not a great experience. Pool was closed which disappointed the kids. WiFi was down. TVs did not work due to internet being down. Ants in one of our rooms, they did move us to another room which was fine. Cleanliness is ok, property is a little old and it shows in main areas. Rooms do seem updated though. Staff was friendly.

Paula was so rude and some guy and never want to go there again very unfriendly but the hotel was nice also I drove 19 hours just for them to tell me the pool was closed

Nice hotel. Modern, clean, quiet. Comfy bedding. Average breakfast but nice pancake maker and yogurt machine. Only drawbacks was very slow bathroom sink and ice machine on bottom two floors were broken. Overall 9 out of 10!

The hotel was affordable and in a great location. We loved the pool. We spent a lot of time in it. The hotel itself was dirty. Elevator floor was dirty, hallway carpets were stained. The air in our room was working but not great. The bathroom door is a sliding barn door that has no lock. The back door was kept propped open, which we saw as a safety hazard. We removed the rock a couple of times but it always reappeared. The front desk was very helpful and sweet. The hotel could be great with a good cleaning.

The hotel was basically clean and well maintained. I was curious though why the swimming pool was kept locked at all times. Was told it was too cold outside, but it was 89 degrees and summer. That was silly and didn't make any sense. Get that pool unlocked! Also another major issue is that there is very little privacy in the room. Rather than a standard swinging door they have a strange sliding door. There is no privacy in the bathroom at all.

stayed 2 nights first was good 2nd hotel let a truck park close to the room with a loud refer starting and stopping every 20 mins. all night hard to get a good sleep. Only one tread mill of all the exercise machines was working not a good workout, breakfast was out a few things very early. That said the room was clean.

The room was very clean and modern. The staff was friendly. The hallway outside my room was overwhelmingly aromatic. I'm one of those people who doesn't handle strong perfumy smells very well but it was just in the hallway and not in my room. And that's better than a stale smoky smell to be sure. Breakfast was not bad but I think the eggs were powdered and when I went to refill my coffee after I finished eating the coffee container was empty. Not a dealbreaker but a little annoying. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Used toiled scrub brush in the hallway in front of our rooms when we checked in. Room key system didn’t work our entire stay, so we had to wait for the one staff person to walk us to our room to let us in. The room smelled of smoke. The pictures look good, right? But, I wish they were scratch and sniff. The entire hotel has a faint aroma of old SMOKE. It’s been renovated, but also neglected. No one has vacuumed the hall in days. The wall paper is peeling. The smoke smell of covered my strong PERFUME smells. At $100 and solid reviews, I thought our one-night stay would be ideal. I wish I had paid more and felt comfortable sleeping here. ALSO, the key didn’t work for the back door. Luckily, someone propped it open with a rock at 10pm. I did not feel SAFE.

The soap refills were not done. Room service just cleaned the bed (with the same sheets) . Bathroom was not cleaned. They would just come and change the towels in the bathroom, but floors were dirty, room carpet were dirty.

Dirty carpet, stained sheets and walls, loose wallpaper in hallways and rooms, cracked baseboards, a busted lamp shade in room, overall quite dirty and unkempt. The desk attendant was forced to pay for two drinks I added to my room bill because apparently the owner doesn't allow charges to the room, so the attendant was punished for not knowing by having to lay for my two drinks. This place is an absolute JOKE.

There were people slamming doors all night. The floors all over the hotel are twisted and buckling, as are the walls. There was a very musty almost mold like smell in all areas. Several adjacent properties with better name brands of hotels, but all properties in the area had several transients walking around them and multiple small gatherings of people sitting outside consuming alcohol and being loud. We arrived at approximately 11pm on a Thursday to put things in perspective. Thankfully the staff upon arrival and at checkout were very friendly and listened to my concerns. I would not recommend staying at this property though. It honestly needs to be condemned due to the structural integrity of the building.

The hallway and elevator floors are filthy both with stains and unvacuumed for an obviously long time. Staff was somewhat friendly. The breakfast was good with nice options, coffee was nice and hot.

Property was clean and co fortable bed. We were put in a room next to elevator and ice machine. Water line for ice machine made it seem as our toilet was running each time someone used the ice. It was very loud also. Breakfast was under whelming with few choices.

Hotel and room was ok, big enough to accommodate my family of 6. Room was not cleaned good prior to us staying there. When I pulled out the sofa bed, there was a banana peel underneath, still yellow. I didn't like that the bathroom door had no lock and was just a sliding door. Room had no microwave and only one sink/faucet.

Comfortable but the bathroom toilet would just kick in every so often with a high pitch squeal. Annoying in the middle of the night. Also the sliding bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed. I had to wedge it closed with a folded up paper towel.

was given a handicap room for no reason except they had most rooms booked, well this was booked months ago, Rm 114 has NO INTERNET service, continued to show weak and out of service within room. Internet worked fine when taken to eating area and even out in hallway. Feel that cause i booked with Expedia they give you a room that is less desirable. It was 1st room off of hallway .

The icemaker on our floor was broken was told two other floors had working ones. Air conditioner in our room only blew fan it didn’t cool the room. TV app was very hard to work had to get up to put up and down the volume because the control wouldn’t do it.

This hotel charged $240 for Friday night through the hotel. I reserved 7 rooms for a Saturday night back in January for $151 through Expedia. This hotel was rated high and has a 8.2 rating. After looking through the reviews, I can only assume that the hotel staff is filling a lot of these out. EVERY person that I have talked to regarding their room had the same thing. 1 bed was horribly broken down and you couldn't sleep on it. Mine sunk about 6 inches on the one half. No one should be expected to sleep on a bed like that. I moved to the other bed and it was the firmest/cheapest mattress I've ever been on. It felt like there was a piece of plywood with 4 layers of cardboard on it and a couple sheets. Everything else was mediocre. Furniture wasn's BAD, but it was chipped up and older. It was clean, shower and bathroom seemed fine. But I can't recommend this nights sleep to anyone.

The air conditioning unit in the room was not working as far as the heat setting and it was freezing in the room the whole time we were there. The phone kept ringing in the room with the front desk asking us are we the room having bathroom problems, and kept waking us up after we had a long drive from Ga. They couldn’t even find our reservation when we got there, and still have not refunded our 100.00 room deposit that was additional to the room charge. Then in the 6am hour I got text messages saying our check out time is coming up soon, which woke us up again,

Property in sad shape. The front desk clerk was not friendly and stated at his phone and texted during check in. Only one door was able to be used to come into property so with the limited parking had to walk all the way around the building to get to the door. People were sleeping in their cars and when that was mentioned the clerk said yea they know. Don’t get me started on the mess they call breakfast. The room was a joke. Asked for extra blankets and we were refused. No fan in the bathroom so you can Imagine the fresh aroma that filled the room. There was what looked like koolaid stains all over the walls when we first came in the room. The night “security lock for the room had strip screws so a stiff breeze would push that open.There was a tiny window, but the entire wall was covered in a curtain for the appearance of a large window. Beds were ok. Overall if this is all you can afford it is ok. Don’t waste your money if you can afford better. It’s sad that Wyndam allows their name to be attached to a place like this.

I called during the afternoon and confirmed my reservation and late check in. Upon arrival, I was told the manager had been called. The attendee on duty had been locked out of the computer on purpose by the previous attendee. After waiting for 30 minutes< I went back to the desk to check status. Was told the manager was not responding to calls. We then left and drove and 1 1/2 back home to spend the night.

Customer service is lacking in the worst way. I have never had a hotel employee roll their eyes as we are discussing reservations. They would not honor a reservation made through Wyndham claiming it was a 3rd party. When we told her the hotel name is literally Wingate by Wyndham, she raised her voice and said Wyndham was a 3rd party and that we’d have to take it up with them. When I spoke to tell her we had the emails with reservation proof, she told me “I’m not talking to you!” I lost it with her there and she called her manager and was giving inaccurate information. As we held our phones with reservation confirmations, and asked her to please listen, she said “I don’t have to listen to you! You should listen to me.” She said we’d have to pay AGAIN to be able to stay one night and then talk to mgmt the next day. We left…we refused to put any more money into such an unprofessional place of business. We had stayed despite the broken commode seat, broken curtain, and bathroom door that was not hinged correctly. We didn’t complain because for the price it was a decent place. But this place by far is the worst customer service wise.

I enjoyed my stay and rested well. Rooms are clean, ample space, comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is good; I enjoyed the biscuits with gravy. Plenty of parking and lots of dining options in the immediate area. There is a park closeby with walking trails and exercise equipment.

The stay was okay. Pros: * Bed and pillows were comfortable. * Housekeeping did a great job keeping fresh towels as needed. Cons: * The breakfast was inedible and limited. The eggs were watery and questionable. The sausages were semi cold. Past that the options for breakfast were very limited. We decided to buy breakfast instead. And we arent picky eaters, it's just the selection was that bare. * Our toilet stopped working during the night. We reported it immediately the next morning. When we got back thst evening they had temp fixed the issue and it immediately broke again. They did move us to another room, but changing rooms at night after a day of work was a headache, especially when the fix was cheap and easy if it had been done right.

Hotel was fine, but not impressive. The room was clean, but the common areas were not. Spills in the hallway and by the elevator were left for hours. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast wasn’t good. The sausage was cold, the eggs were really crumbly, and the biscuits were hard as a rock. My coffee was lukewarm and the juice was mislabeled. Would probably stay somewhere else next time.

While I have stayed at many properties offering breakfast, this location did not measure up. The touchless pancake maker was not working, but until I questioned the problem, no one had bothered to fix it. Additionally the yogurt dispensing machine was "out of order" during out 4 day stay. The daily fruit option consisted only of oranges.

It is in walking distance to plenty of restaurants and stores. Hotel is quiet and staff friendly. Pancake maker needs to be recalibrated to cook pancakes longer since they were slightly raw in the center. But there were plenty of other breakfast options so it was still good!
