Lobby was in poor condition as well as the outside of the building. Rooms were large and clean. Door didn't seem to seal shut at the top. Pool was big and clean. Breakfast is offered but not on site.

The room was spacious and clean. It was perfect for the one night we needed. Fridge was larger than expected. The pool was great. Bathroom was a little smaller than expected, but still fine. We were on the second floor and could hear people in the parking lot and/or traffic, but wasn't a huge deal. Overall, great value and location.

Upon arriving at our hotel we were informed the the elevators were not working. Our assigned room was on the 2nd floor. I explained to them that my husband was handicapped and we needed a first floor room because he stuggles with steps. They said oh there are ramps available going to each floor. They also informed me that there would be an upcharge to switch rooms and they did not have a king room available. When we got to our room the room smelled okay. It had linoleum flooring which was nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. However, the tub was dirty and nasty. The sink was cracked and broken. You were able to wash your hands in the sink. We went to get ice in our ice bucket and the ice maker on the second floor was broken. We went to the first floor and the ice malker was unplugged for the season and they had not turned it back on. They advertised that they give you a voucher for breakfast at the Reagan's house of Pancakes that was right next door. When they gave us our voucher for our breakfast we were informed that we would present our voucher and we would get a stack of pancakes and a drink. But, if we wanted anything more we would be charged. We did upgrade our food voucher to get the breakfast buffet and the food was very good! We were very disappointed in our overall experience. In conclusion, we will not be staying at the Red Roof Inn in Pigeon Forge again. On a side note, I tried to post pictures and it would not let me.

We have been staying here for years and this time was the worst experience. The staff told my husband upon checking in there was no first floor rooms but they had an elevator. Well elevator was out. Ice machine was out of order laundry was out of order heater in room didn’t show the degreaser had to guess if it was gonna be warm enough.

They put us on the third floor a long ways from the elevator. When there was clearly plenty of rooms close to the elevator and even on the first and second floor. Appeared to be some longtime guest staying there as well. The room was nice and very clean. It had been remodeled. The free breakfast was the best thing about our stay. It was wonderful.

We booked a king suite and arrived fairly late. Upon entering the room it was very damp and humid and smelled very musty. There was mold on the lamp shades, plaster was falling off of the ceiling and laying all over the floor, and the fan in the bathroom was broken, so no ventilation in there whatsoever. The mattress was very hard and the couch was vinyl, damp from the humidity, and very uncomfortable. There was an ice bucket in the room, but non of the ice machines were working and the last one we found said “no ice for the season”. The gentleman in the front office confirmed that none of the ice machines were operable. With so many other options in the area, I would definitely find something else. It was late, so we toughed it out, but never again.

The room was ok but very dirty floors. 10 mins after shower and walking around barefoot my feet were filthy. Staff were nice, check in super easy. Really need to update location but it ok for a cheap stay. The coupon for the breakfast bar next store was pretty good

The gentleman that checked us in was not at all welcoming. Very blunt. The young lady that checked us out was very helpful. The room was dated and dingy. Cobwebs on the ceiling by the door. 1/2 inch thick dust on top of “headboards” and pictures. I wiped up a little water spill on the floor. The paper towel I used was dirty from the floor not being clean.

I understand that this property is dated, however, I have never stayed at a property that had such disgusting floors. I was leary of even staying but had no choice during the time I was there. I understood quickly that the management and staff would be of no help or that they even cared. I had to shower with my shoes on because i felt it was so dirty. The room to the eye at first glance was fine, but when you get in and start looking, it was dirty. Thankfully I only needed it to sleep and shower, but even so, I felt dirty just being there. I dropped some water transfering from a bottle to a cup, I took the paper towel to wipe up the water, it was BLACK! I've never experienced that and am appalled that anyone would allow their property to be in those conditions. It was a terrible shame. I will make sure to skip by this place on my next visit.

The room was relatively clean but the floors were so dirty that our socks were black from walking on it. The shower curtain was " sour" & smelled bad. The staff was nice & the pool was clean. Loved the dog friendly aspect , it was perfect for our pet.

Roaches in the shower when giving my children a bath. When checking out I Left the room spotless. All trash gone . Beds made. All used towels in tub. Was told I would receive my $100 deposit back but when it came back it wasn’t in full. Then charged me for a stain on a duvet that was not from my room !! Dissatisfying !!!

The location of this hotel is perfect. The pool was really nice.. however the floors were filthy you couldn’t walk in the room without shoes or your feet would be black. I’m assuming it’s cleaned quickly rather than thoroughly. The worst part though was the beds. They were probably the worst beds we’ve ever slept on at a hotel, which made our trip a little harder.

Firat 5 mins- saw a roach- no thank.you; we took "Bob" to them and they said we planted it...um bud why would we plant something if we were gonna leave 10 mins after checking in...! Room was clean and nice. Bed slept good. It’s an older motel, you could see that in areas. TV is too small to watch in bed. One thing I didn’t like, they take a $100.00 damage deposit out of your account (most places will just hold it and not subtract it) and they only give you $95.00 back. And, they charge you &10.00 if you don’t turn in the key personally. Breakfast vouchers are nice to Reagan’s Pancake house. Reagan’s is a great restaurant very friendly people!!

Bed very hard and lumpy only bad thing. Good location. Trolley stop out front. Good breakfast next door with voucher $6 upgrade to buffet. Allows pets but to many rules and $5 ikept out of $100 deposit no matter what.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly, but the beds were pretty rough. I didn’t sleep well. Also our AC ran the entire time we were there and at times it was hotter in our room than outside. Pool was nice and clean and the breakfast next door was good and was a nice treat. If you stay on a budget it’s worth it.

room was clean, the air conditioner/heater was noisy it had an extra rattle in it almost sounded like a diesel engine running we got the king room with the additional sitting room. the sitting room needs a rug or something in there because the echo when you are talking is horrible in the room. it gives that hollow effect but the room was nice for the one night and the staff was nice as well.

The type of room we had was very nice and spacious, especially for a hotel. But the bed was so very uncomfortable, when you would sit down on it you would go straight to the platform underneath and then have springs poking in your back at night. The other downside was no ventilation in the shower/toilet closet. Other than some wear on the walls from I’m guessing the chairs hitting them, we had a nice stay and it served our purpose. Breakfast next door was great every morning as well!

Terrible front desk staff! Would hardly speak etc. Also we arrived one hour early and was told we would have to pay $25 early check in fee, when we asked if the room was ready they said yes but still have to charge $25 so reluctantly we left and came back in a hour! Then to top things off we had to pay a $100 deposit and was told we would only get $95 back with me explanation as why! Needless to say we will never stay there again!

Room was clean , we loved that there was no carpet in room. Only complaint is that they never came to empty trash/make beds/switch towels. When we questioned the front desk we were first told that we must have had do not disturb sign on the door which we didn’t , the next day we questioned and were told they were sold out so they didn’t have time, the final day we asked and were told to bring towels to the front desk and they would exchange then also told we could use the broom they had anytime if we wanted too and that there was a large trash can we could put our trash in. Overall our stay was great just don’t expect housekeeping.

Location was good. Rooms decently clean. Rooms did not have service so we had to collect our own towels and take them to the office for new ones. As well as toilet paper and trash bags. Emptied our own trash out . Rooms were too expensive in my opinion to have to clean them ourselves

They charge you a 100 deposit and keep 5 dollars of it when you check out and they call it a service fee. They wont accept cash for the deposit...so they are stealing 5 dollars off every visitor that stays at this place which brings in thousands of dollars every year. Its the only motel Ive stayed at that steals from the customer like this. I will never stay at this place again

Staff was friendly, in the heart of town so can walk to a lot of places easily, family friendly area. The room was clean but the floors could have been mopped better. Also the elevator smells and at one point while we were there there was pee in the elevator floor from someones dog which explains why it stinks ciz if one has done it multiples have.

We always stay here when we visit Pigeon Forge. Clean rooms and great brwakfaat is included next door. We'll continue to stay here in the future. Close to The Island, so we normally walk.

Nice location the parking was a little crowded but it’s a great location right close to the island and other things so u can walk to most attractions and a lot of restaurants are within walking distance. Loved that they had a kiddo pool along with the big pool great for toddlers overall good place to stay

I went on a last-minute expedition with my dog Rider. We had a blast. Dog friendly with a great location to walk your fur baby. In the heart of Pigeon Forge. Easily walk to many restaurants. Friendly staff.

After check-in, my wife and I noticed a group of men standing on the bannister of the same floor our room was on. They were very loud, drinking and smoking. Fortunately, they were quiet during sleeping hours. The rear door in the room opened up to a small sitting area without chairs and right next to a loud street no more than 15 feet away, which was loud all night. The bathroom was very outdated. The TV contained very few channels and the remote was a little difficult to figure out. We chose this motel because they promised free full breakfast and received a voucher for our meals at a pancake restaurant next door. Apparently the voucher was only for pancakes. This was a buffet breakfast and we ended up having to pay full price because we should have been told of an upcharge if you didn't eat pancakes. This was very aggravating, embarrassing and leads me to one conclusion: the motel provides a free limited breakfast ONLY for those who eat pancakes! I guess if you don't eat pancakes, you don't eat! They should either advertise on the website "free pancakes", offer continental breakfast, or stop advertising a free breakfast. Upon check-out, I spoke to the day crew about what had happened, and they only explained the free pancake issue - never offering understanding or an apology for not explaining the details upon check-in.

The property was not clean. The check in staff was rude. The hair dryer in the room didn't work and I had to go to the front desk to get another. The breakfast was at a restaurant next door. Your only choice was pancakes and coffee. There were 30 people waiting outside to get a table. They only offered breakfast until 9:30. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I choose Red Roof Inn for a cheap overnight sleep at a place with a free breakfast. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. However, the rooms were just OK and the mattress was about as soft as the wood floor. The kicker is the way they nickel and dime you - take a $100 damage deposit, but keep $5 as a service fee no matter what. The free breakfast is a voucher for a pancake place next door which offers a small stack of pancakes for free and then upcharges for anything else you want to eat. Our free breakfast for 3 (2 kids and an adult) cost $28.

The hotel was close to everything we planned on seeing such as Dolly Stampede, and many shops and entertainments we was interested in. My only complaint was free breakfast was a voucher for the restaurant next door for one stack of pancakes and a drink, if you wanted the buffet you had to pay. was kinda of misleading in the brochure.....there was a few little things but not worth mentioning. We were fairly satisfied overall.

The hotel was good for the price we paid. The staff was very friendly and we were able to add an extra night at the last minute. The pancake breakfast was amazing, the pancakes were huge and delicious. The pool was cleaned everyday and my kids enjoyed swimming every night.
